I just found you. I love how easy you are to understand and follow. I'm 2 years in and it can be overwhelming. One question tends to bring so many answers from beekeepers. I was just asking around for a book to really get my self more educated. Thank you so much!!
Hey there I got these books on your recommendation. Love them both! Really helpful info and easy to understand, will be a great ongoing reference for this Newbee. 😃So much to learn. Also my mentor recommended both of these as well. So thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Looking forward to spring! Thanks for sharing such helpful information!
You call your channel "Beekeeping Made Simple" and then you recommend these two terribly complex text books. A few years ago I was in my beloved Kew Gardens book store, outside London and accidently found Dorling Kindersley's, "The Bee Book". I have tried looking at other bee books, including the ones you recommended. I never would have been interested had I run across your recommendations. Good lord, The Bee Book piqued my interest and I fell in love with the idea of beekeeping on the spot. I have now been an independent one-man beekeeping show in the rich Belgium countryside for about 3 years, There have been a few tiny setbacks but via that book, it's been a huge rewarding hobby. I am 100% dependent on The Bee Book. I just bought a second copy to replace my poor sticky dog-eared copy.
Oh, I'll be getting my copy of Bee Keeping for Dummies today. Ordered from Amazon.
Just got it. Thank you for the help.
Great! It's a wonderful resource.

Plus I'm in PA! Your old home.
I think the pregnancy joke was funny too! 😂 I read that book while pregnant with my first & kind of skimmed through when I was pregnant with my twins.
