Definitely worth picking one those shrouds up... but won't install until needed. I added a front bumper and winch last week and it was a pain in the ass... lol
@@1ttcobra2003 I have 11000 miles on my can am and have only went through 1 fan. We have 2 other machines all with over 6000 miles that are still ok and 1 x3 that had a fan go bad at 3500 miles.
Would I need to add a shock tower brace if I got this or do any other modification ? I have a ‘21 x3 xmr turbo rr 72” . My stock shroud has cracks on top
@@TheCanAmCrew I bought it used so idk how hard the previous guy drove it to break the fan shroud , he said he it tipped over in the sand dunes , nonetheless I’m just trying to decide if I should replace it with this metal one or try another oem plastic one since I plan to use it on trails mostly and not jump it etc . The shroud is still in tact and feels very strong but it has some broken plastic on it so I figured I should just change it
@@tomh3120 no. I Have 11000 miles on mine and never had a gusset kit. Our group has 40,000 miles in 5 years and none of us have a gusset kit. If your jumping it wouldn’t hurt to have. Trails and east coast riding it’s not necessary
@@tomh3120 it won’t hurt to add a steel shroud. You will never have any isssues with it cracking again and it’s not much more than a factory plastic replacement

Thank you, we appreciate it.
Nice product!! Great details on installation!!
Great video ! I'll be definitely picking up one of those for my x3
Awesome, it’s a great product and you won’t be disappointed
Would it be a good idea to just get the RPM brushless motor upgrade kit?

No, this is direct bolt in and basically takes the place of needing a shock tower brace.
@@TheCanAmCrew thanks for the quick reply ! Would I need a gusset/bulkhead kit?

Is the fan shroud worth the money?
I think it is. It’s a less expensive way to get a solid mount upfront. We’re over 10,000 miles with it and still perfect
I barely got 600 miles and it stopped working 😅
