Vladimir Jablokov started playing the violin aged five, making his stage debut at the tender
age of ten. Coming from four generations of professional music makers, with a Russian
maestro for a father and five musical siblings around him at home; Vladimir is steeped in
the classical tradition.
Vladimir arrived in Ireland in 2004 part of the Eastern European diaspora welcomed at the
height of the Celtic Tiger years. Originally only planning to stay in Ireland for a few months;
he soon found work and money hard to come by. Having little English, he quickly decided
to let his music do the talking and started busking on Grafton Street. Getting a taste for live performance, he formed the Slovak Festival Quartet in 2006 with some friends.
With a burgeoning reputation, Vladimir played some of Ireland's most prestigous
venues; including The Mansion House, The Gaeity Theatre, Marlay Park, Cork Opera
House, Limerick UCH and, at the behest of President McAleese; to an audience in Aras an
Uachtarain. He headlined his own sold out concert at the National Concert Hall in March
2010. He has appeared on the Late Late Show, Nationwide (RTE1) and has been a guest on Ian Dempsey (Today FM), John Murray and Pat Kenny (RTE Radio 1).
Love Lynyrd Skynyrd forever. I was very young woman when they came out. One of my favorite bands. He’s does a beautiful Tribute to Them♥️🎻♥️ Ronnie would be proud 😊

This is actually pretty cool, a violin solo
Look up "Rebecca's Freebird solo" and watch an 8th grader play the whole 5 minute solo on electric violin.
I love Vlad. What I wouldn't give to have stumbled upon this event (long stumble from Florida, but one can hope). Finding the video on Vlad's post to my Facebook newsfeed was almost as good......plus now I know your channel, which appears to have lots of amazing stuff. I look forward to viewing all of it. Thanks.

This should be the American national anthem. Don't laugh - the one we have now was based on a popular bar song in the early 1800s.We can change the lyrics around some to make it more anthemic.
+MarvelDcImage dude are u high?... our national anthem was not a bar song xD
+MrSpukinator The American national anthem was based on a tavern drinking song aka a drinking party song of that era. Like most Americans you are ignorant of the diner points of your own history.
MarvelDcImage dude you have been so hoodwinked. wutever article u read that in was lieing. our national anthem was not based on a bar song
No, I am an immigrant.

"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States. The lyrics come from the Defence of Fort M'Henry, a poem written on September 14, 1814, by the then 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Key was inspired by the large U.S. flag, with 15 stars and 15 stripes, known as the Star-Spangled Banner, flying triumphantly above the fort during the U.S. victory.

A little more than a bar song.
This guy can play some violin
Nice!
Amazing :)
Personally I'd cut down on the "violin exageration" idk what to call it but basically adding additional notes.
Fine alternative version of the original....
Who says a classic like this can't be performed by musicians with instruments that are usually played for classical mucic. They are so, so, wrong Anything is possible including mucic that is a altime classic ( LYNARD SKYNARD FREEBIRD) Can be performed on just about any musical intrument.( not saying every instrument but many of of them). I will always enjoy as my top fav the original but, the odd occasion someone will come along with their instrument(s) & do their version Sometimes i will like & enjoy it & sometimes i wish they found a proper job. But, this version is very good but, sadly not quite to my standards. But, enjoyable nevertheless anyway. Thanks for uploading it anyway. 😉
Its nice bur its not freebird
It's a simplified version, short, but is freebird
