With the Coronavirus going on, I feel like both myself and a lot of people can relate to the lyrics in the song. For me, I first heard this 2019 in Uni. I was hard at work cracking away at assignments left and right, and this song helped me feel motivated. Plus ya know, talking to people. Fast forward 6 months, I'm sitting at my desk in home, trying to find the motivation to do any amount of work. It sucks, and when I close my eyes, I feel like I'm back at Uni. Right, enough procrastination, back to work everyone

I heard it first in my grandparent's house, and a few times in the house we used to live in. Something involving money happened, and we were forced to leave them behind (they took money from us), and move away. Sometimes, when I hear this, I just close my eyes and think back, how I was on the second floor, sitting on the carpet, doing homework or drawing, or playing around with these bean-shaped toys that had a piece in them, you could throw them around and they'd make noises and do flips- you know those really old toys? Back then I couldn't understand likely anything, I was a child, now I can talk English almost fluently. It's sad to think back, and believe everything was better, when you improve so much over the years, and you learn so many things.

btw Pompeii was a real city, "The walls kept tumbling down" meaning the walls were falling down during the eruption leading to "Great clouds roll over the hills bringing darkness from above" meaning the eruption and the ash falling down burying them. it didn't kill the entire city though, only 2,000 while 18,000 managed to escape before then. There are still bodies encased in the ash currently today.

Imagine yourself waking up in this world. You feel it familiar yet strange at the same time. It's oddly quiet like the whole population had vanished. Probably one piece
Imagine yourself waking up in this world. You feel it familiar yet strange at the same time. It's oddly quiet like the whole population had vanished. You scanned around feeling a sense of chilld in the air as the silence was broken upon the sound of fireworks and music in the distance. You look up and saw balloons floating with every color of the rainbow. You can hear chants on the other side of this concrete jungle luring you in as if a siren call. Slowly you walk towards it drawn by some mysterious force. It was a celebration of sorts and probably where everyone was gathered.
And then suddenly, children run pass you, one of them brushing by, the sound of laughter echoing. You pause for a moment before joining in the sprint. You don't know what is on the other side of those towers or what this celebration is about but you feel like you needed to be there. The sound of music plays louder as you rush through the roads. You feel strong, fast and moving ever onward. It was as if you were granted unlimited power in an open world game. Slowly the empty streets begin to populate with stalls and pedestrians alike. The smell of food rushes through your nose. You feel as if this was it. This was the place you belonged.
The music grew louder as the band playing at the tallest point of the hill came to your sights. Beneath it, your friends and your family are gathered, familiar faces all around, each of them welcoming you in their own special ways. You no longer feel that loneliness in your heart. Instead it is replaced with warmth. You grab a drink and suddenly you feet begins bouncing to the rhythm of the music. You found paradise at the end of your journey. It was always here, always just a spring away.
