- According to South Sudan Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Industry and United Nations Agriculture Organization (FAO), South Sudan livestock population is estimated at 12 million cattle, 20 million sheep and 25 million goats. This makes South Sudan the world leader in terms of animal wealth per capita. These resources are not put into use yet to boast the economy, but with time, South Sudan will be the leader beef export in the region.

Thanks for the concern. Its the role of the community in general to step up defense measures. They are safe where they are now, but when they leave the islands, they will be under threat.
How about microchipping all livestock with a registered number related to the owner as well as a unique brand. All livestock bought and sold by law will have to reveal the microchip numbers. I hate Cattle Rustlers more than anything. thanks
