- We're going to review how to put on and remove Acuvue Abiliti™ 1-Day Contact Lenses. See steps below to learn how to put on and remove Abiliti™ lenses.
Step 1: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Dry your hands with a clean, lint-free towel.
Step 2: Sit at a clean surface with a mirror.
Step 3: Check the lens to make sure it is not inside out.
Step 4: Set up your eye. Use your hands to hold your eyelids wide open to be able to insert lens.
Step 5: Insert lens while holding your eyelids open. Takes some practice, but soon you will be a pro.
Step 6: Repeat steps 3 to 5 for the other eye.
Next is to learn how to remove Abiliti™ lenses.
Step 1: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Dry your hands with a clean, lint-free towel.
Step 2: Sit at a clean surface with a mirror.
Step 3: Set up your eye. Use your hands to hold your eyelids wide open to be able to remove the lens. Lightly touch the lens and slide it down to the white part of your eye or pinch the contact lens with your thumb and index finger to remove.
Step 4: Throw away your 1 day lens.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 to 4 for the other eye. All done! Great job!
