Hi mam I have two doubts . Frenels consider a wavefront abcd on there only he divided no of hp zones. But where he take abcd wavefront is it taken from a primary wave ?. Obliquity factor theta increasing then intensity of p is decreasing.so why it's directly proportional to the amplitude of disturbance?
fresnel zones are imaginary concentric circles on the wavefront and will change its parameter as distance from the source is changed. For your second query, amplitude will reduce as obliquity increases but intensity is alway proportional to square of amplitude no matter at what position.
Source only produce wavefront. So is fresnel take one of the wavefronts and consider as a ABCD .this is what I am trying to ask u mam.what is the reason for obliquity factor is directly proportional to the amplitude of disturbance mam.
Thank u very much mam for this unique topic..
After many search I got that with concept , thank u very much mam 🙏.
welcome 😊
It's very very simple and clear concept ..... thank u so much ma'am
thanks for the appreciation 😊
Explained without making it complex understood easily 😊
good to hear 😊

@@Learndiyphysics thank u for ur quick reply mam.where frenel take that wavefront mam this I couldn't get it.

from each frsnel zone secondary wavefront will be emitted which will have max amplitude in forward direction and decresing with obliquity
obliquity is not directly proportional, I suggest you to refer optics by Hecht for this topic that will really help.
Thank you mam
All doubts are clear.. Thank you mam
welcome, thats good to hear 😊
Audio is low
thanks for the feedback
But clear explanation
