    i only idolize 3 volleyball players.. mireya luis, the player of the century regla torres (both of cuba), and paola egonu. for me, they are the holy trinity of volleyball. who's yours?

    • @goodbyestranger6824
      @goodbyestranger6824 Рік тому

      Regla Torres was an absolute champion but I think she received the award as player of the century due to the fact that two outside hitters had already been nominated in the men's volley and awarding a outside hitter also in women's volleyball would have been excessive.
      Otherwise I think they would have nominated Mireya Luis as player of the century.
      Obviously this is simply my opininon, not else.

    Paola is such a grounded, strong and talented player. THAT can't never be denied. Greater things are coming her way for sure, her stardom is just beginning. It's amazing to see how she's using her own platform and power to speak about her struggles navigating life in a European nation. congratulations on all your achievements Paola. 🤩🙌👏

    This is what happens when you go to a country that doesn’t want you.
    Africans leaders should work on developing their own countries.
    The disease of racism isn’t going to go away. Individuals may choose not to be racist but the crowd will never be rid of it.

    • @andreamazzolani3138

      Racism will lose strength and eventually disappear in my opinion. I mean, if we compare now with 50 years ago a lot changed, guess what will happen in the next 50 years.
      Btw, I am white Italian, and I love Egonu ❤

      So for you Africans in Africa and Europeans in Europe ? Your solution Is Two separated world. I am White Italian and I am Happy with our Egonu, Sylla, Diouf, Howe, Balotelli, etc.

      If Italy was truly a racist country, today she would simply be a florist in a kiosk in a city of Italy

  • @jacklemonfizz6898
    @jacklemonfizz6898 2 місяці тому +2

    I'm Italian, If Italy was truly a racist country, today she would simply be a florist in a kiosk in the city…we Italians have had many famous athletes, such as Fiona May, Balotelli, Andrew Howe etc...
    and then if we talk about famous people I mention Khaby Lame who has never complained about anything, khaby said i'm fine here.
    Suddenly racism has appeared?? experiencing some bullying in your own country is very normal, calling the country racist is very different, there is no sense of proportion anymore and Egonu has simply allowed herself to be exploited by left-wing political parties.
    I would have liked that too, but no one give me 1 million euros to find my inner peace in a country like Turkey, (one of the worst countries in Europe for women's rights).
    Egonu is one of the most loved black women in Italy, her problems began with her online victimization...for purely political reasons.

      You said a Great bunch of stupidities, i'm Italian and I don't think Italy being a racist country, but i think that racism is a problem anywhere, moreover where people like you try to deny, often far right Genius like Vannacci champ.
