Get your facts right. Takshashila was abondoned in 5th century AD whereas Mughals came in 16th🙄 British and Mughals had nothing to do with the destruction of Takshashila, to be specific. Actually, it was British archaeologist Sir Alexander Cunningham who rediscovered it's ruins in mid 19th century! Edit: I meant it was particularly not the 'Mughals' who destroyed the Nalanda university and Takshashila University. They were destroyed even earlier than Mughals, by other Muslim fanatics. Well, here it is, King Narasimhadeva built this temple to dedicate it to God Suryadev. The temple was not built for common people in the beginning. And the temple is also known as “Black Pagoda” due to its dark color and used as a navigational landmark by ancient sailors to Odisha. The magnetic effect of the lodestone was so strong that it caused disturbance in the ship's compasses those passed by the coast (Konark being a major port at that time), thus making the navigation very difficult for the sailors. To save their trade and their ships, the Portuguese sailors destroyed the temple and took away the lodestone. The removal of the lodestone leads to the collapse of the main temple structure. Currently, nobody knows where the magnet is. They took it down because they said it was pulling the planes. The sea receded back and now people go there.

I went to Brahadeeshwar Temple last year.. 4th one...its art work is amazing...there are soooo many shiv lings...I haven't seen so many in a temple... and the Lepaskhi one as well..its not far from bangalore..(the 3rd one)...seems the temple is half built...there is a huge round boulder on the tip of a cliff, below which there is a small settlement of the villagers...an earth quake could destroy the whole village

Been there this year in Jan. One of the most mind blowing place in my life. A kilometer of rock face has been carved out into massive Temple and prayer halls.
In "3" , the pillar not touching ground is possible because - the ground and the pillar are possibly magents of opposing nodes , hence repell each , however, the weight of the pillar is just matching the repelling force ,keeping the pillar just above the ground , leaving a gap.
About Kailasa temple....even they some how carved it out from a single rock...the actual question is..what happend to the rest of the remaining rocks..400,000 tons to be approx. I have seen the kailasa temple. Amazing unbelievable. Entire temple chiselled out of a mountain. I live in Odisha where the Sun Temple is located, some more facts about the Sun Temple that the video didn't show.. 1. The Chariots in the Temple are not only Sundials it also has moon dials, using which u can calculate time precisely upto seconds. 2. 1200 craftsman worked for 12 years to construct the temple. 3. Even after 12 years they couldn't complete the Top portion of the temple. The son of the chief Mason who wasn't born when his father left his home when he was born, came to meet his father with some berries from their garden so that his father will recognize him. His name wad Dharmapada, he sacrified his life after completing the top portion of the temple by jumping into the sea. 3. The large Magnet at the top of the temple used to distrot the compasses used by navigators even miles away in the sea.. The Britishers Vandalized the temple so that they can navigate easily.

It's not just hand tools. There are other ancient methods using practical physics and chemistry Eg. You chisel out a hole in a large stone, put in a dry wood block, add water, wood expands, cracks the stone... large chunks can be removed this way. Can use acids to dissolve certain types of rocks in a controlled way too

I am from Aurangabad near to Ellora. Visited Ellora like more than 50 times till date. Gate 16 i.e Kailasa Tempe various Ramayana and Mahabharata scenes carved inside it 1000s of years ago. It is believed that it's construction was completed in 8th Century!
I’ve been to Konark temple recently and I must say it’s a wonder. It is huge and is filled with intricate graphics, carved throughout the stone structure of temple. The temple you saw in the pictures is just the entrance to the main sanctum which collapsed in 17th CE. The reason proposed to this was destruction of the 52 magnet by the Britishers (it used to trick their compass, as Konark is located near the sea shore🧭). The top magnet kept the structures intact by pulling the iron pillars inwards (the iron pillars are still exhibited there) and at the same time helped the idol to levitate. The britishers also took the golden Kalasa(Vessel) weighed more than a ton. Research on this. You will find it wonderful.

And Yes not only it is Massive but also has a smaller twin in a nearby area called Gangaikondacholapuram. There are many a story abt the vault, somesay they hear ocean sounds, rhis could be the door to another dimension locked with viice and pitch activation, , i can attest to the fact that there is a fine sand inside the temple when it is quite a distance from the seas. At the veerabadra temple they would have used vaccum/ suction to keep the pillars attached to roof without needing to touch the floor, abt the footprint, some believe it to be hanuman's when he landed here with lird ram n lakshman called for the half dead gaint eagle to get up hence Le pakshi (get up bird) . Kailasa temple , not a small sample of the excavated thousands of tonnes of derbis has ever been found anywhere near the temple, also there are some such small and curved carvings leading to believe some sort of laser technology could have been used. The carvings were made by monks who used the nearby caves but the main temple's orgin is not known.

There are many more historic and spiritual sites. One of them is the Jail where lord Krishna was born. Its over 5000 years old. A huge part of that jail was destroyed by Mughals during 1600's, but the actual jail still remains.
They used a 2 kilometers long inclined plane leaning from the top of the structure at Brahdeswara Temple. It took them a good amount of time, I didn't remember the exact figure.That is what I was taught in 7th grade.
Kailash temple in ellora caves is really mysterious bcz that was created within some stipulated time but even with modern equipments it's not possible to construct within that stipulated time when that temple was constructed.

I went to Brahadeeshwar Temple last year.. 4th one...its art work is amazing...there are soooo many shiv lings...I haven't seen so many in a temple...
and the Lepaskhi one as well..its not far from bangalore..(the 3rd one)...seems the temple is half built...there is a huge round boulder on the tip of a cliff, below which there is a small settlement of the villagers...an earth quake could destroy the whole village

The Padmanabhaswamy temple of Tiruvanathapuram...is the most mysterious...It is said that A large cobra guards the B vault of the temple....this vault is said to have great amount of wealth..it can only opened by the chanting of Garuda mantra by a very knoledgeable and a very powerful person who has attained these powers by meditation etc..

Konark temple was not just a place of worship. It was a university where different streams of education were taught - that's why you see different arhitecture in different level of temple ranging from mathematics, sex education, astronomy, arithematic etc.

In "3" , the pillar not touching ground is possible because - the ground and the pillar are possibly magents of opposing nodes , hence repell each , however, the weight of the pillar is just matching the repelling force ,keeping the pillar just above the ground , leaving a gap.

About Kailasa temple....even they some how carved it out from a single rock...the actual question is..what happend to the rest of the remaining rocks..400,000 tons to be approx. I have been there ...and talked to the researchers or people who are studying about that temple...they said..no where around 100 kms from the temple , they were able to find that particular type of rock or the left over 400,000 tons of remaining rock. That is what makes it the most mysterious temple in India.

I have seen the kailasa temple. Amazing unbelievable. Entire temple chiselled out of a mountain. The tower of brihadeeswara temple is built in such a way that it's shadow cannot be seen as it falls within the square pyramidal base. Ancient India was well versed on geometry in architecture. Also see Madurai meenakshi temple. It's beautiful...

I live in Odisha where the Sun Temple is located, some more facts about the Sun Temple that the video didn't show..
1. The Chariots in the Temple are not only Sundials it also has moon dials, using which u can calculate time precisely upto seconds.
2. 1200 craftsman worked for 12 years to construct the temple.
3. Even after 12 years they couldn't complete the Top portion of the temple. The son of the chief Mason who wasn't born when his father left his home when he was born, came to meet his father with some berries from their garden so that his father will recognize him. His name wad Dharmapada, he sacrified his life after completing the top portion of the temple by jumping into the sea.
3. The large Magnet at the top of the temple used to distrot the compasses used by navigators even miles away in the sea.. The Britishers Vandalized the temple so that they can navigate easily.

Also how the granite stone was placed on top of that temple Vimanam. Pls watch it 🙏. Also granite is the hardest stone to carve hence proving these temples would've taken so many years to build.

Konark sun temple is a world heritage site.The walls of the temple from the temple's base through the crowning elements are ornamented with reliefs, many finished to jewelry-quality miniature details made From stone
The temple tower of Brihadeeshwara temple was pulled by creating a sand slope of nearly 3 to 5 kilometers in length, so as to reach that height....later elephants, horses and workers were used to pull the tower till there.... then the sand was cleared....
In India that time there was no slaves at all unlike europe and middle east.

It's not just hand tools. There are other ancient methods using practical physics and chemistry
Eg. You chisel out a hole in a large stone, put in a dry wood block, add water, wood expands, cracks the stone... large chunks can be removed this way.
Can use acids to dissolve certain types of rocks in a controlled way too

I am from Aurangabad near to Ellora. Visited Ellora like more than 50 times till date. Gate 16 i.e Kailasa Tempe various Ramayana and Mahabharata scenes carved inside it 1000s of years ago.
It is believed that it's construction was completed in 8th Century!
I’ve been to Konark temple recently and I must say it’s a wonder. It is huge and is filled with intricate graphics, carved throughout the stone structure of temple. The temple you saw in the pictures is just the entrance to the main sanctum which collapsed in 17th CE. The reason proposed to this was destruction of the 52 magnet by the Britishers (it used to trick their compass, as Konark is located near the sea shore🧭). The top magnet kept the structures intact by pulling the iron pillars inwards (the iron pillars are still exhibited there) and at the same time helped the idol to levitate. The britishers also took the golden Kalasa(Vessel) weighed more than a ton. Research on this. You will find it wonderful.

The breehadeewara temple was built at a time of famine to provide work , place to live while they recovered, it was a beautiful plan to ensure people kept their self worth while providing them means of survival jnstead if just handing them food, and also beneath the kumbam areas to store grains for future to be changed every few years, there are stories that entire area was covered with mud till reached the top n elephants were used to bring the kumbam up there. And Yes not only it is Massive but also has a smaller twin in a nearby area called Gangaikondacholapuram.
There are many a story abt the vault, somesay they hear ocean sounds, rhis could be the door to another dimension locked with viice and pitch activation, , i can attest to the fact that there is a fine sand inside the temple when it is quite a distance from the seas.
At the veerabadra temple they would have used vaccum/ suction to keep the pillars attached to roof without needing to touch the floor, abt the footprint, some believe it to be hanuman's when he landed here with lird ram n lakshman called for the half dead gaint eagle to get up hence Le pakshi (get up bird) .
Kailasa temple , not a small sample of the excavated thousands of tonnes of derbis has ever been found anywhere near the temple, also there are some such small and curved carvings leading to believe some sort of laser technology could have been used. The carvings were made by monks who used the nearby caves but the main temple's orgin is not known.

wow! y'all should look into the swaminarayan temples like akshardham in delhi. they are the modern masterpieces. They also have temples in the USA that are GRAND. ( though i am not a devotee to their religious leader, i do appreciate their architecture and have been impressed by how much money they have)

There are many more historic and spiritual sites. One of them is the Jail where lord Krishna was born. Its over 5000 years old. A huge part of that jail was destroyed by Mughals during 1600's, but the actual jail still remains.
And shadow of the brahadeeshwara temple's tower won't ever fall on the ground at any time of the year. Ever seen anything with no shadow???
They used a 2 kilometers long inclined plane leaning from the top of the structure at Brahdeswara Temple. It took them a good amount of time, I didn't remember the exact figure.That is what I was taught in 7th grade.
Kailash temple in ellora caves is really mysterious bcz that was created within some stipulated time but even with modern equipments it's not possible to construct within that stipulated time when that temple was constructed.
