Ryan, here! Thank you all for watching this show! This is our 3rd and FINAL episode as this was just a mini pilot season for this series. We wanted to make sure you guys enjoyed it before we decided to make a full season. As for the status of a future season, TBD based on how these 3 episodes do! Either way, thank you for supporting and I hope you enjoyed the ride.
this series is so good hdhhdhhh
well you've scared us all AKA please keep making these!! we need a full season of fear, thankyouverymuch.
Please will you make more? I love the way that you tell creepy stories and Shane brings me back to normality with his rational thinking and reasoning lol 😆
We need a full season. This is such a good series
Hi~ fellow Boogaras and Shaniacs
"I have a katana."
"I have several Bert's Bee's that I will throw at you."
I don't know what's more frightening, a short angry man with a katana or a tall man yelling whilst throwing chapstick at me.
this made me laugh way too hard
probably a short man with a katana, just kick shane in his thin
shin and that should temporarily take him out
Ryan is not short though he is average.
Tall man definitely tall man
The most horrifying thing is realising that Ryan isn't even short... Shane's just THAT tall 😂
ryan: "i have a katana by my bedside"
shane: "and i have several burts bees chapsticks that i will throw at you vERY HARD"
Yeah, but Ryan will be killed by his own katana while Shane will have moisturized lips.
So which one really thought ahead?
I feel like the katana might be a little long for effectiveness. The chapsticks might discombobulate the intruder enough for Shane to just *tackle* the person. Ryan’s over here trying to get the word out of its scabbard.
Truly, Shane is a man of culture
Wakizashi?
@@recoil53 facts.
I know someone who got into their car after grocery shopping, smelled someone’s BO, then said “shit! I forgot milk” as a clever way to get out of the car and have someone call the police. Sure enough, there was a man hiding in her back seat.
jeez that's creepy. That person was really smart though.
How did they not see someone in the backseat?
@@Vainglory100 mightve been dark
@@Vainglory100 they were probably hiding, I’d assume crouched down. Plus In my personal experience as a lady who is pretty short when I’m driving anything other than a normal car, stuff like trucks, vans, and jeeps I can’t even see into my backseats until I’m up into the car.
@@Vainglory100 Its actually quite easy to overlook something like that when you're use to a daily ordinary routine.
No ones gonna talk about the scream being audibly shane’s lol, like, you can tell ryan asked him to do it for the video

😁
Still scared the shit out of me tho
Lmaoooo you just know he laughed while listening the that after it was recorded
Yeah, I noticed right away. It was funny
Let’s be honest, we all have this fear of someone breaking into our house.
The fact that someone is able to break into your safe place is really disturbing.
That is the worst aspect of break ins: not the items stolen, but the violation of personal boundaries. It can seriously mess someone up for life.
Plus add to the fact it's easy to open locks and doors now...that fact always makes me uneasy
I’m home alone right now... ;-;
@@rogueeskimo8253 Actually if a door isn't particularly strong it can be kicked down.
especially at night.. i'd rather someone break in when im awake and at home than asleep or not home.. at least if im there i can hurt them. after all, we are all human. the only thing that makes them scary is their willingness to hurt others. once you become willing to hurt them, its not as scary
Ryan: “Here’s what you do: obtain katana”
Shane: “I’vE GoT A ChApStiCK anD I’M noT aFrAiD tO uSe iT”
Those criminal are going to have The Smoothest lips when Shane is done with them.
HAHAHAHHA
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if a chapstick was all Shane need to kill a man 😆
(wheeze)
@@shiny77711 I mean everybody thinks he's a demon so he probably dose only need chapstick 😆😆😆
the scariest thing is that when the intruder figured out someone was in the house, he tried to find him instead of running away. you know he wasn't going to find him just to chat, especially with a knife missing.
@@soalegria1971 ....ok?
The fact that the intruder got upstairs so fast is also terrifying. One second your in your bed alert but not too worried so you call for who you presumed to be a friend then you hear footsteps booking it up from the bottom floor. You have so little time to make a life saving decision.
I mean he was outside watching him come home soo. Of course he knew he was home, just not which room he was in.
@@ShadowsandCityLights true
also the fact that he sounded like his step dad. to think someone who was diagnosed with violent tendencies and shit, getting out and immediately coming to find you, and 98% succeeding is..terrifying
something that gets me about this, is that this guy had just been watching his house waiting... then he sprinted in and was determined to find him, that dedication is creepy as hell.
That must be how NPCs in video games feel about violent players
Makes me wonder about the motive
Drugs are bad
Oh like you never been so spun on meth that you haven't tried to kill some random person living alone.
😂🤣😂😅☠️👻
@@inaaronshead7331 so true. happens to me all the time
The part that chilled me most about this one was when the intruder sprinted straight for him. Usually in these kind of stories the intruders are slow and methodical and can be spooked if they realize someone is home, but this one just immediately went after the guy as soon as he heard him.
It seemed like this person wasnt even planning on robbing the guy. The way he was desperately searching for OP is terrifying. I'm glad OP hid in time
He was probably tweaking pretty hard.
The meth the intruder snorted probably affected how he processed situations. I'm sure if he hadn't tooken the drug he would've been more careful and mindful. :P
Yeah, like normally they'd be like "shit! someone's here!" not "KILL THE SOUND!"
@AmethystExpert Ok so do you think this never happened once in real life? Wtf are you saying right now?
"Are You Scared of Being Home Alone?"
Me: Why yes, yes I am. **Currently home alone**
I don’t live alone, and home invasion stories scare the shit out of me.
I’m home alone right now >.
I'm always alone so now I have generalized anxiety disorder 😂😭
SAME!! I don’t live alone but I’m the youngest in the house (15, my siblings are all adults already), and everyone is at work or somewhere else so I’m home alone and I hate it ;-;
@@corbin30 that’s the reason why they scare me. I’d be the last person they find and that’s what scares me about it. If they got to me what did they do to everyone else in the house.
okay but can you imagine selling and buying that house? Buyer: "Why is there a phone line into the attic?" Seller: "Oh a methhead tried to kill me"
^o^

"In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.” -Sun Tzu
"I'm turning that guy into a fucking corndog," -Ryan Bergara
Ryan: "Like the Axeman, he used people's axes against them."
Shane: "Yeah. Pretty funny!"
Everyone: o_0
*“You better jazz it!”*
Shane is the Axeman CONFIRMED
Isn't it actually funny though?
*J a z z i t d a m m i t*
Me reading this comment and realizing other people didn’t find it funny
I knew it had to be real, because no one making up a story would reference their miniature-painting set up, they'd give themselves a cooler hobby.
lol underated comment
For a while i thought you were quoting shane
Hahahaha, yeah, made up stories usually consists of your usual around the neighbour hobbies, but miniature painting? It has the same vibe as collecting dead butterflies for science
@@jackpreacher7210 lol i collect dead butterflies and stuff
I knew it was real because made up stories are creatively-written like they were trying to hook you up, this one's very direct
I feel like when Ryan feels scared he pours holy water onto his sword and starts swinging around the house
Screaming at the same time too
He seems like the kind of guy to get Father Thomas to bless his gallon of water he got from dollar general for the sole purpose of demon protection
666 likes is so fitting lmao
FR BRUHHH 😭💀
one of the things that spooks me the most is that the intruder had the physical strength to just flip over this guys whole bed, like if it did come down to a brawl theres just no winning against that
Drugs are a hellva drug
This comment is so funny to me
To me flipping a bed is an easy task but I also realize I'm huge lol
@@wukong-hn9ix bet you couldn’t flip mine.
It kind of depends on the end, when I was younger I flipped my bed all the way over just so I didnt have to go to school (it didnt work obvs) and it wasnt super heavy
what's freaky about this one is that the guy didn't steal anything. he literally went into someone's house to do something to them and nothing more.
He did steal a knife tho
I once heard someone say that if someone wants to rob you they will come during the day when you aren't home, but if they want you they will come at night when you are sleeping
gearsandsteam I can believe it. Some thiefs even just walk up to the front door and knock sometimes. To the neighbors it just looks like a visitor/seller. If someone answers you can just make some random excuse and know not to rob the house
@@ninonewshinee yea probably to kill him
gotta tell you, this one got me, cause I KNOW I wouldn’t have the physical strength to climb to an attic bro
Bro same :(
You might! Adrenaline works wonders sometimes, or so I've heard. I also have no upper arm strength, so that's what I'm banking on. 🤞
Well I don’t have an attic. I do have *several* guns and knives.
The only thing protecting me, are my dogs that bark every time there’s a person walking down the street.
ME
I remember my house got broken into. Home alone but had two german shepherds who were very protective and trained in protection. It didnt go well for the guy that broke in. Lets just say he walked out limping.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The katana comment had me dying! It reminded me of an incident that happened in my first year of marriage. My husband loves swords so I had purchased him one on our honeymoon, he jokingly placed it under the bed for "security". Fast forward to the following summer. My husband is working nights and I'm home alone sleeping nekid cause No air conditioning. At 2am I'm awoken by the front door rattling and the door creaking open. I reach under the bed grab the sword and stand up on the bed ready to fight! The light flips on and I'm ready to spring. The intruder was my husband who had gotten off work early and was sneaking in quietly trying not to wake me. He said he has never been so terrified and turned on at the same time.
So terrified yet turned on 😂😂😂 LMAO I LAUGHED SO HARD AT THAT
Now I'm unsure what to feel but that's hilarious 😆😆😆
I've done something similar twice. Once I when I was living with my parents and got off a shift that was super early morning/super late at night (depending on how you look at it), and I didn't hear my dad leave the house, but heard him come back in. I had grabbed a knife that I kept near my bed and luckily we both realized what was going on (he apparently had thought I was sleeping and had almost stabbed me with the knife he keeps on his belt.) before either of us ended up stabbed. Second time, I was living with my uncle and was home alone and had just gotten back from work on a graveyard shift. It was far before he was supposed to get home from his shift and I heard the door open weirdly(the front door has a specific creak/thump sound when it opens). I grabbed the sword that I'd bought and snuck out onto the landing where the bedrooms are and flipped on the light. Cue my uncle shouting and my own shouting. Bit of a joke in the family now that I've almost stabbed two family members for "breaking in" to their own homes.
"Terrified & turned on at the same time" Lmao I chocked-
I just die on "terrified and turn on at the same time". XD
ryan: turn off your lights

Everyone: why would this random man want to kill him?!
Random man: because he was home
Damn, The Strangers reference 😭
Ryan voice is somehow calming yet eerie which gives the story a new and then there is Shane who so nicely destroys the atmosphere
the fact that Ryan has a katana by his bed is so unsettling yet so very Ryan.
He probably has it to protect himself from the ghost's
Adiba Shaikh right 😂
I used to have a mini pool cue under my bed as a weapon
Garrett Watts keeps a katana by his bed too :P
It isn’t really unsettling sooooo
I'm sorry, guy got his house broken into, sounds like they didn't catch the guy, then proceeded to live there another 3 years?? Damn dude, you're renting, break that lease!
Yeah but moving is a long process and he might have gotten a discount in rent after this so...
Well to be fair, I imagine an attacker would be less likely to hit the same place twice... Maybe?
dupperdiddy that’s what I would think, I mean the intruder should be smart enough to realize that “if I go back to the same house, the home owner can be more cautious or ready for me this time”
@@dupperdiddy That would be the ideal case
My thoughts exactly. Nothing could make me stay there.
As someone who gets really paranoid when home alone, this is my worst nightmare. I can’t imagine what this person went through…
I can genuinely fall asleep to Ryan's narrator voice like he can be telling the scariest story in existence and I'll still fall asleep cus it's just so soothing. Plus Shane's scepticism and disbelief helps keep me grounded lol.
It's all fun and games until the ghost stuff seeps into your sleep soft brain
goddamnit i wasn’t scared of being home alone until you made this video, RYAN

if this happened you technically wouldnt be home alone
it is ok, you aren't always home alone

I knew a man who had a set of 24 knifes under his bed. He was a sous chef. Everyone knew. No one messed with him.
Oh wow
Were you friends with that one chef from Ratatouille?? Who killed a man with This Thumb????
@@luxi7193 loved your question. Made me laugh, so thank you for that. I love that movie, it is underrated. However, it is real life, not a fantasy. It was during my internship a few years ago. Intellectual and honest man, everyone had a major respect for him. A twisted temper as it is common among people who are cooks, sous chefs and chefs.
luxi 😂🤡I was right about to say that
I went to community college so everyone was kinda intermingled. The cooking/chef students always carried around their knives it was the funniest thing ever cause they took good care of them and cleaned and sharpened them all the time. And if they did have their uniform (kitchen attire) on they looked like serial killers.
the scariest part of every are you scared episode is Ryan saying "so, are you scared?"
no it's definitely the high pitch laugh at the very end of the video
“I’m turning that guy into a fucking corn dog” I’m DEAD 🤣🤣🤣
God imagine if he didn’t have his attic access in his closet...
access to my attic is outside my room so I would've been dead for sure
I don't even have an attic :)
The opening to our attic is right above the stairs (yeah I know, a very dumb place to put it) so I would be extremely dead, considering my bedroom is on the second floor xD
@@kaskaskas mine is outside my room in the middle of the hallway so i wouldve been dead for sure lmao
I would of just yeeted my ass out the 2nd story window.
Ryan: I have a katana
Shane: I have Chapstick
I get the feeling Shane wins in this situation
Imagine someone entering your room at night when you are asleep, and as you wake up, you throw chapsticks at them and they'll be like 'wtf dude, who does that?' and then you just stare at each other for a moment in total awkwardness.
Yashica Kumar kinda like in scream 4 when that one guy was about to get killed by ghostface and just goes “I’m gay” and ghostface just looks like wtf
hey, at least you get robbed with nice, moisturized lips
Nah. He'd just walk up to the guy and be like, "You got some crusty lips. Here, lemme put some chapstick on 'em".
@@yashica3516 I don't think it would be awkward it would be a great distraction to punch them in the face and run to get a real weapon
I just realized how beautiful Shane’s nose is wtf
Ryan: so lock your doors, turn off your lights and lets get started
Me: *eating chili at 3am in the kitchen*
Also me: “sick”
This is why The Strangers is the most terrifying horror movie.
"Why are you doing this to us?!"
"Because you were home."
Scarred me for life.
Yesss!
Yeah, there are people who don't need a motive, just an opportunity. The idea of becoming a victim just because someone "felt like it" is disturbing as hell.
I watched that movie when I was 10 and after that I begged my parents to take us out every night because I was so paranoid
Real life, the people were caught and the people being terrorized did survive.
Agreed, all of these stories are why I sleep with a dagger and pocket knife under my pillow. I'm usually holding one constantly in my sleep lol

you’re not scared of being alone. you’re scared of involuntarily/unknowingly not being alone
I've heard this story before on another true story podcast and my biggest takeaway was get motion sensor flood lights for your front and back yard. Blind the intruder and then call the cops!
Sensor lights prevent a lot of burglary
Motion sensor lights do nothing but annoy most burglers especially if ur twacked and have done it before some lights aren't gonna spook ya. Learn how to properly defend urself the cops have horrible response time in most cities and states.

Ngl, I was in a spooked out mood from this video and your profile picture creeped me out.
honestly you wouldn't catch me going into the house if i smelled cigarette smoke, i would be driving to a different town, better yet a different country, the intruder would be like *huh? okay then*

@@katherine6130 what if the intruder followed you? 💀
honestly, I like to pretend in my head that in a home invasion scenario, I would be able to do all the right things, like this guy. but if I'm being real with myself, if I hesitantly called out to someone I assume is in my house, knowing I was all alone, at night, when all the lights are off, and they don't respond, and I proceed to hear *thundering footsteps* make their way up to my room- to be perfectly candid, I'd probably start screaming in horror and just seize up.
man, i dont know what i would do. i have a bat next to my bed, own a switch blade and pepper spray but i keep that stuff in my bag. i guess you never know til it happens...
At first I thought I’d have the same reaction, but I think my fight or flight would go into action and I’d just start fucking throwing hands (and probably get stabbed in the process)
@@theawesomedude20 That's the thing that scares me. I own a katana, too. And knowing that I'm armed, I'm pretty sure I'd fight the intruder and get myself killed.
Take self-defense courses. Take a boxing course. Anything where your mind needs to work, you need your reflexes and it's a win or get punched situation. You may still freeze up in a real situation, but doing these things can force your brain to react faster than without training. A few seconds can be all the difference - Moreover, the more you force your brain to learn these things, the more your brain will go in autopilot when it needs to.
i'd just pee then and there
the scariest part isn't being alone, it's realizing that you aren't
The key to any intruder situation, is to make them feel like they're stuck inside with you, not the opposite
I’m sad this is the finale gonna miss this
Ryan : has katana
Shane: chapstick
This isn't the end, this was just a pilot to see of the Internet likes the series or not. They are gonna be continuing with the series

Today i was going skating with my friend that was up the street so i got there and we talked, played some board games and drank sodas, and when i grabbed the skateboard to go down the street 1 km+ to my home with my pal✨❤️
Guess what came out of it.
20 earwigs.
I am in no way exaggerating.
20 earwigs started crawling away from my skateboard as i rolled it a bit.
I hit it again and more came out, scrambling out of view looking for gaps to hide in.
I was so enormously confused i didn't understand where they were coming out of.
I flipped the skateboard on the other side and started rolling its wheels with my foot alonside my friend.
Earwigs just flew out, it seemed like it was from the wheels of it.
I was so disgusted.
After some more rolling, earwigs stopped flying out so i was a bit more.... '' confident''
Me and my bff decided to still go skating back to my place and the ride was actually prty great.
After I said goodbye to her i went inside and was sweaty and dirty so i went to the bathroom and began washing my hands
After i put soap on my hands i felt something on my head so i looked in the mirror...
In the middle of my head, ontop of my hair was a freaking earwig.
I basically screamed and ran to anyone rlly.
Asked my dad to see if there was smt in my hair he said no so i assumed i must have flicked it off somehow in the bathroom. Mom helped me look in the bathroom 4 it, i didn't find it.
I was feeling so gross so i decided to take a shower so i go there and boom, guess what.
She finds the earwig and plucks it out of my hair and throws it in the toilet, flushing it.
Today was traumatic af.
I feel horrible.
I want to burn down my skateboard.
Did the earwigs rlly just make my skateboard their home?
yes, i don't rlly take care of my skateboard, i just left it outside but hell if i expected this....
There were si many earwigs... I just...

Pro tip for anyone scared/creeped out: I’m currently really scared after watching this, and if anyone else is, search up this UA-camd called Nino’s Home. He does relaxing cooking videos with a cute cat. Watching him instantly makes me feel better, so maybe it will for you too.
You're so sweet thank you!
omg i love that channel
I watch Jun’s Kitchen - I had no idea there was another channel with a Japanese man peacefully cooking meals with his cat.
kleerude nino is Vietnamese (I think, just a guess based on the second most common language that I’ve seen in his channel)
Oh yes, I watch him all the time when I'm creeped out
i wish youtube had recommended these to me sooner, what a great series! I was missing the unsolved series and this tooootally fills that gap while were all stuck in El Quarentino. loved this series, really hope you guys continue it!!!!
oh also, maybe consider adding links to the original story posts in the description, if you guys do continue! the one about the 911 call was bone-chilling and i immediately had to hunt it down to share and scare my friends lmao
i love this show very much! hope you continue making it :3
Okay but we can all agree Shane offered his own frustrated scream for the story, right?
I came here to find this lol i expected it to cut to a vosual of shane yelling into his mic
Y’all need to continue this series omggg
Please make more of these!! I like them alotttt
"they better have a remedy for steel" is a badass line tho.
Shane when he’s home alone and hears a creak: Hey demons, it’s me ya boy
I actually say that when I’m home alone XD
Alexis R. All fun and games until it respond
@John, True.
*crossover intiate*
I'm going back to 505
This is my favourite "Are you scared? " episode that I always recommend this lately when my family or friends ask for a random video. I always look forward what their reactions will be.
This story actually left me pretty satisfied, man really responded well (despite me at first thinking it was dumb of him to go on the attic where he'll be stuck with no connection/communication and weapon) but he worked it out, really, ended well for him
ryan be like "let's use this opportunity to remind them that i have a katana"
So now they know to bring a gun to a sword fight...
And it fell off a truck
While you were off dating girls, Ryan was studying the blade and hunting ghosts
Shane has chapsticks bc the demons got his back, ain’t nobody breaking in 😂
Lol
he *is* the demon lmaoo
I need more of these, damn it. This is so good.
It's fun listening to this story after finding it on another channel and hearing the comparison between Ryan reading it (and Shane providing commentary) and the other person reading it.
“A few years ago, I was renting a house in Northern California..” me: *in Northern California* 👁👄👁
Same here
Same 👁👄👁
*Are you scared of being home alone*
*me, in the dark, alone*: Maybe
*Wife takes kids to grandparents for the weekend*. Damn! I finally get some peace and quiet home alone!
same, even tho my brothers still up and in the living room.
just watched all these videos and this is the best one because it could happen to everyone. I don't get scared often, but this one got me
BRING THIS SHOW BACK for season 2!!!! Love when the ghoul boys get into scary stuff. It's Ryan and Shane at their best and most fun.
Robbers everywhere watching in fear because they dont want chapstick thrown at them 👁💧👄💧👁
worst way to die :(
