Man that sucks BP. That makes my sprayer screw ups seem like nothing. I quit spraying yesterday, I ran short again, the heck with it, I cleaned it up and put it away. Good luck with getting stuff resolved.👍
Only thing I don't like is that Crested wheatgrass... but very smart to add in sweet clover to get a little more tonnage the first year while the alfalfa still gets established. Piss that sucks... MAYBE it might be too thick, but I would think the stronger plants will survive over the course of the next few years. Not sure how to handle when to cut it, maybe need to cut it sooner than the rest??? I have no idea... that's something to find some info on. You're right, lessons learned... don't rely on other's work or words. Dad taught me that lesson early on... even to check over your own work when your gut says so. Heck, you can still do everything nearly 100% and mother nature laughs and have to redo some seeding anyway. Done that enough already in my lifetime.
Oh yes, the old over seeding disaster. I don’t ever put more then 5 bags of canola In My drill even after I know it’s set, after a few hundred acres I still max out at 5bags at a time.
@@jeremycherny2041 I have no idea how many I’ve liked. Lmao. Even if I don’t like it. Hahahaha. About time you put up a video, got a like waiting for you. Lol 😆
That really sucks. I hate seeding hay cause it is so damn expensive, seed is small, and it’s easy to over or under seed. I spend the whole day worrying it seems. I’ve been off a bit, but seems they kind of set you off in the wrong direction.
You should be able to trust the person in charge of the machine. They are there to set you in the right direction, with a little fine tuning on your behalf. Shitty deal if you ask me. I think you should be compensated for your loss.

Yeah i can beat you, seeding RR canola and blew $15,000 on 7 acres, while calibrating and hooking all the drives back up i turned it from slow drive back up to high forgetting id switched it already, yeah it sucks but no one died. Hey tractor babe.
That sucks about the problems...and of course CP's root canal, hope she's better now! I enjoyed the vidjya BP!

When i seed canola. I learnt my lesson. One bag in and go seed 10ac or so and see how far i can go.

Good morning BP and CP. Someone should be accountable for that. Any one can makes mistakes, however it's supposed to be a professional service. 👍
👍👍
That sucks BP when you have shit go sideways when your dealing with expensive seed.
Hope it turns out okay, guess time will tell.
Well that sucks good video for anyone using the machine. What model of GPS are you using?
Cruzer 2
That hurts for sure, you not able to seed through the drill? Hope CP feeling better
Always have trouble with the drill being to deep
Fair play, seen some guys on grass seed set it just above the surface and then some harrows behind the drill

I think you will have a great yield on that field on average, that heavy planting will produce
My experience with really heavy seeded grass is it grows thick but not tall it ends up choking it self out
Apparently you were my 5000 liked video.
Kinda cheap with the likes then. Hahahaha 🤣
@chadtosh6831 probably don't watch as many as you lol

@@wallyyuriy8912 Yea I've thought about planting canola and about fall over what the cost of seed is.... no thanks!
Canola isn't that bad. Lol. Only was $41000 for 580ac of seed Lol.

$3000 dollars for seed that’s crazy could go buy another good baler for that price lol
Have you bought alfalfa/grass seed lately?? It's pricey
Mostly you have good days, but every once in a while ... Oh well. What can you do? Dust yourself off and get back at 'er.
If u cranked it and weighed seed out. It should be the correct flow
Not if you are cross calculating to the wrong settings
