My dad saw a feral human up in Quebec. He was a truck driver. It tried to get into his truck. He always called it Bigfoot, but I think it was a feral human.
Maybe it was just a homeless?

@@brian.11 no he was covered from head to toe with fur. He was wearing clothes apparently, but his eyes and his face were a little different. They reflected light of his headlights. And then, when he finally blew his horn, it ran away on all fours into the forest. He got out of there quickly.

The problem with wanting an encounter is you may just get what want and it may not be what you thought you wanted.
I was in the Wrangell St Elias National Park here in Alaska. I've seen 2 sasquatch in the park. The Wrangell is much bigger than any other parking in the US. I was about 30 to 40 yards. The first one I saw in 2017 and the second in 2022, this spring.

Unless you can travel back in time, then the first one has to be in 2002 and the second one in 2017.

What an awesome experience these 2 people had. I wish i had been there to witness this bigfoot chilling out in the middle of the road. And they just drove around the creature. How cool is that.
Guy gave his encounter on William jev podcast, creek devil yesterday had a recent encounter with sasquatch in Washington, said sasquatch was sitting on right hand side of road, and also said had strong appearance of orangutan. Pretty crazy.
There was one time in Quebec I was sitting on the side of the road , head tucked when this D-10 truck rolled by me...
When I was a Ranger one day I was opening A park I had come around a corner an older couple in a big 4door car was stopped in the road . as I pulled up behind them the man jumped out and yelled DID YOU SEE THAT . I said no sir what was it he said as we came around that corner we were driving very slowly we saw a big rock on the side of the road half way on the other side of the white line we thought what a strange place for the park to put a rock and a black rock at that as we drove by slowly . As his voice got louder and more anxious he said the damn thing got up punched the back corner panel of the car and ran across the road right up there . I looked at the car and there was a dent as though it had been punched or ran into . And that's the first of a series of events to follow in the next few weeks. Watch the rocks it could get up run .

As an Alaskan I find it strange that I've never heard this story.
Cuz it's probably BS.
NO one reacts like that to something this strange sitting in the middle of the road.
You stop and inspect of use the car to get it to move.
It could cause an accident to others not seeing it if they drive fast.
Im from Fairbanks, I've heard it several times. But I sit at bars alot. Walk into a place with a BF shirt or hat on and people migrate toward you. Never fails.
I just met a guy that had a sighting in 09, one was standing right next to a road as he drove by.
Love hearing about these sightings. Very cool.
That kind of sounds like a depressed teen age Sasquatch trying to halfway ether get shot at or maybe ran over. Or it could be a group of teens playing an ultimate game of “I bet you don’t have the balls to do this…”. I don’t know. Also kind of reminds me of that high school football movie where they were laying in the center lane of a highway or other road that was scary. 🤷

I think Sasquatch sitting or sleeping on the road can be anything , but I remember that my cousin went to hunt in the Himalayas , he had seen animals sleeping on the asphalt .
Maybe a little off subject but when I was eight or nine I saw a flying saucer. It was in Phoenix, AZ this would have been 1984-85 time frame. My Dad was picking up my brother, sister, and myself from our grandmother's house. It was dark out and as we rounded the corner to the drive way, I looked up and saw a flying saucer. It was silver with different colored lights at the top and it was rotating. I said "dad look it's a flying saucer"! He didn't see it or couldn't see it. But I know I sure could see it. I know what I saw and that's all I can say.
That's actually a thing!! In broad daylight one time, not a cloud in the sky, I started flipping out like omg omg, what is that! Definitely a ufo, my friend kept saying, where, where, and I was kinda getting agitated like how do you not see that, right there, I literally blinked and it was gone, then she started freaking out omg omg and I was like what the hell where, where did it go and she could see it and I no longer could.

Interesting you mention the sighting of them sitting/laying on the road , there’s a report from our nearest town that got submitted to the BFRO , this is down the hill from my first sighting, man headed south on Hwy 101 Humboldt county Ca sees a subject laying on the side of the road , he returned and it was gone… this area has a rich history as well as the rest of the county , thanks for sharing 🦶🏽

A lot of animals get killed sleeping in the middle of the road- the asphalt absorbs heat from the sun through the day and stays warm through most of the night- Sasquatch could be attracted to the warmth.

I know it’s off topic but, it’s real good seeing someone write "based off" instead of the dumb as a sack full hammers version "based off of"…….. The ever increasing and utterly pointless use of the word ‘of’ everywhere, is getting fuggin old.
The first encounter is very strange. A juvenile decoy hoping to lure them out of their car (as Alaska Sasquatch are said to be more agressive)? An orphan or youngster separated from their family who had lost all hope or had hoped to receive help from humans? Moody Sasquatch teenager? I just don't know. It could also have been a prank pulled on them by other humans, possibly, though it doesn't sound like it considering the remote location. The second account is interesting. You may well be onto something with the warmth of the asphalt being a temptation. We'll never know but it's fascinating to conjecture about. And yes, I agree the juveniles and young adults (especially males) do seem to be much less careful, and they are often the ones people see.

Well let's put it this way; if they are indeed like us or are as close to us on the taxonomical tree of life as some believe, then it might make some sense that people tend to see juveniles doing things like sitting in the middle of the road looking like they don't have a friend in the world & not giving a damn who sees them there or what happens because they think their parents are THE WORST, or sneaking away to lay next to each other out on the pavement way too late into the morning because his parents think this about her & her parents think that about him, or because they're two best friends looking up at the sky as it lightens & wondering why things have to be the way that they are, or because he suddenly doesn't have a dad anymore & hers was severely injured during a human encounter when she was little so they met somewhere they knew their mothers wouldn't come looking, just for comfort & to grieve.

Stories and accounts passed down from age's ago are some very strong evidence that something else is here with us.

Why would you discount your sighting, Justin? Because you were 9 or 10? You knew then it looked like Chewbacca and that is exactly the correct description for a entirely hair covered being with no clothes on walking in a ditch in the middle of a snow storm in Canada. Good for you.

Sounds like the one in the road was a decoy to get the vehicle to stop so a larger one or more can attack for food. Just like people do to get people to pull over then get mugged , robbed or worse. The behavior of the two sounds like an adult put them up to it and the juvenile(s) knew it wrong. The behavior seems guilty...

I used to drive a Dodge Driving-50 4x4. Best 4x4 truck ever, that thing would go go go in the woods. Unfortunately it had a severe cooling system corrosion issues I. The engine due to dissimilar metals. Poor design. Engine quit less than 150,000 miles. I still loved that truck and miss it.

What are you talking about, there are plenty of videos on UA-cam. Are you another non believer because you know about everything walking around on every inch of this world. Sasquatch has been around for hundreds of years. And they are very intelligent.
Well what happened to me when i saw a UFO my eyes couldnt tell my brain that this thing is strange so i kept looking at it and didnt think to get it on video or a photo unless it happens to you wont know what im talking about.

15,000 years, the Alaskan Natives have dealt with these things. Just toss their word in the trash? I've seen 2 Sasquatch here in Alaska. I find it SUPER arrogant, that a man, who has his butt on the couch, will tell the world, they don't exist.

You would stop and spectate it and then you would discuss it among each other.
Some people would even get out and try and force a reaction to make it leave the road and not cause an incident to the next car coming.
