This music gives me mixed emotions, the first time I heard it was at my father's funeral, it was his favorite worship song and the psalmist sang it to say goodbye with my father. I heard it and I started to cry, I cried because of my father's death and because the lyrics went deep into my heart because I was so far away from God at that time. In the days that followed, I avoided listening to it because it didn't matter where, my tears flowed one after another and I couldn't hold it back so I stopped listening to it for a while until in my room, I wore it. I listened to it and started to think about it and it hurt me to feel how far away I was from God. And I understand that I have lost a biological father whom I love with all my heart, but the heavenly father wants to fill the holes in my soul,
You are so right I have been there and done that same thing I didn’t think it would happen that way but I stayed close to God and was grateful for him making a place in Heaven for my dad knowing he was there and with all the love and joy and peace he had always wanted I’m still walking with God after 30 years and love him more each day
A heart that mourns will be comforted. It's okay receive the presence , that's when Jesus steps in where two or more gathered in his name, in fellowship in worship in Praise in ailments for his prevailment.
