Some tips; * Cooked things earn you a lot more than ingredients on their own, but you need several different stations to cook, sometimes. They're all expensive tho (I think 1k each? unless they changed it), so I'd say start with a cutting station and a boil station, that way you can make soups! (I suggest planting more carrots, but it's up to you!) * DON'T go around town and destroy random blocks, like crates and stuff, (trust me, I learned it the hard way :,D) If you destroy something essential in the store (interact with the store's sign, you'll see they need stuff like roofs, crates, boxes, ect.), the store will not sell anything until it's restored back to how it was. The NPC said as much, but I'm just explaining it once more. :,3 In addition, the extra villagers, like Rosemary and Jamie, will move out if you wreck their homes, so be careful! * Personally, when I DID find stray crates, I gathered as much as I could and sold them. Surprisingly, they sell for quite a bit. I've yet to find a better use for them. There are a few in your house already. * You can actually make seeds! The seed station thing is just a bit expensive, haha. *Getting a catalogue&Shipping station makes the game easier, so up to you when you wanna get them. * Currently, NPCs don't give that good rewards for doing their quests and I think you only have one day(same day) to complete the requests before they say they already did it themselves. Don't strain yourself with them right now, since I don't think they've implemented much in terms of friendship with the villagers anyway. Of course, if you wanna do them, that's fine! Just some requests are harder than others, so don't feel bad for ignoring some. * come autumn, plant at least 5 pumpkins as soon as you can and/or have a good amount of sugar beets. Won't say why, but will be handy~ Also, around the time those things come in handy, be persistent when you talk to a certain npc that seems to not be willing to have a conversation at the time. Sorry for being cryptic, I don't wanna spoil the surprise, but I also don't want you to miss out on fun things~
I am really enjoying watching you play and learn Staxel! I just got it the other day and it's been a blast. It's nice because I've already learned some things from your experience. When I played and set down a marker, I didn't get the yellow outline and had a heck of a time trying to figure out how close or far I should build to it. As for sleeping, (I don't know if you figured it out) you have to watch the clock to know when to get home. There isn't a penalty yet, but I think they will add one in the future. Anyway, I look forward to watching your farm grow! Have fun playing!
On the map you might have noticed that theres a big mountain. So, stones you gathering alot can also be a good fast money if you want to grind. And as for the nails. You can buy them in the building store. Creating wooden blocks you're going to need Raw woods ----> Lumber + Glue = Wood blocks. Glue can be bought from the building store for 5-10 coins. But yeah, in order to get these. You have to borrow, Tile station from Aliza.
You can buy nails rope and other resources from the building store, where aliza is You can also harvest water and move it so you can build the fishing spot wherever you want
I think there is a pond on your own property. I was wondering if that (on my own property) was a good location for the fishing spot or if it has to be open for the public and on the lake or the ocean beach.
I think everyone in America sounds out Leif as Leaf. There is a large number of words/names Americans say incorrectly. What can you do when you're a huge melting pot of nationalities with no pronunciation instructions? Millenials will probably be the ones to correct this problem now that we have near instant access to dictionaries.
From what I know Leif is pronounced like you pronounce pain so.... laif, or maybe layf would show it better. :) At least in Sweden we pronounce it that way. Common name here. ^_^
Hello Beef! Loving this series so far! I like listening to your vids while I am playing the game myself, haha. Can I suggest a somewhat similar game for you to check out some time, maybe? 'My time at portia' is really fun, I have a feeling you'd like it! :,D In any case, keep up the good work! ♥
you want something buy it sell everything in the town on the blocks that say sell on them.. build your barn on your own property and do not destroy the town. read the interactions on the right bottom of the screen listenin to the people they will teach you things and give you things think stardew valley rather than Minecraft. or Farmville or animal crossing that all i know hope it helps
Dear Vintage Beef, please look at the spelling of your Mug O' Sop closely. When it says Mug O' Sap. I think i know why you say is Mug O' Sop. The letter a & o almost look the same in game.
Is Staxel a Windows only game? It’s not for Mac OS X??? Nevermind, I found my answer and I think it sucks it’s for Windows only. What about people like me who use Mac? Pisses me off that most games are for Windows only when they should be made for multiple platforms.
Healu1102 Yeah I guess linux peeps have the same issue sometimes, you might be able to run some windows apps with an emulator like wine, or some people just load windows through boot camp and use it for windows only things.
Nathan Williams Thanks for the advice. I just love games lol. I’m not tech savvy so maybe my smartie brother-in-law can help me. I’ll keep what you said in mind. Thanks again!
thats why you don't get a mac if you like gaming... as for the guy using linux, you only use linux becuase you know what you're doing but you also give up your right to 80% of games since most people don't bother coding for it plus 90% of linux user just use a windows ui system anyways lol
if you watched all the episodes , its easy to understand that he is joking. Maybe if english isnt ur first language it might be harder to catch but he is totally joking
English is my first language. Australian born and bred. Listening to Beef's voice, it didn't sound sarcastic as it should. Ask Beef and then get back to me.. and i have watched all episodes
Sell all your bugs & also you can put your barn on your land easier to access every day to milk cows and such. Tools don't have durability, you dropped it somewhere haha
"I don't want to rename Winston!"
Sounds like you do :p
he just feels like that name would suit the dog better. sometimes a name just pops into your head and you can't stop calling something that.

Between Staxel and Portia and Blacksmith Shop there's so much soothing and fun content to nom!

"Auto jump" and "step assist" are two entirely different mechanics. Minecraft did it wrong with they picked auto jump.
I am definitely enjoying this game and would like to see more!
You get cheaper seeds in the local market where all the stalls are
Also you sell your farm products there
He can also scythe the plants like flowers to get "mixed" seeds. Basically free seeds for clearing out areas he will clear out anyway
Really enjoying this series! I'm new to this game as well, I enjoy learning from your videos!😌
3:14 "Can I pet you for like, forever" Right after he says that he goes away lol
I like the complexity of this game. If it weren't a voxel I would have already purchased it.
11:21 You passed out on the floor my dude
VintageBeef: It not like.... Hey there.
Me: I'm not sure I hear of that game before Beef.

I dont think thinga have duribily at 23:15 you have it but then it randomly disappears
This game looks fun but the reviews kinda made me hesitant. But I will prob get it if it ever goes on sale. I was obsessed with stardew valley
i love this game, it's like a 3D version of stardew valley but with more features
Leif is a danish name.
The way to pronounce it is exactly like the English word "Life" ;O)
I think everyone in America sounds out Leif as Leaf. There is a large number of words/names Americans say incorrectly. What can you do when you're a huge melting pot of nationalities with no pronunciation instructions? No it isn't easy to know.
This is so dope.

Rather you just get through the tutorial quests until you actually learn how to play.
Watching you derp around gets old.
His name is not pronounced "Leaf". You pronounce the "Lei" part like you would the word "lay", then just add an 'F'.
It's a Swedish name.
U can't make seeds
Yes, you can, actually.
LethalAuroraMage oh wow yeah I am playing and it won't let me even did what wiki said hmm I'll watch ty!!
I checked before commenting by making some cucumber seeds. Seems to work for me, hope you get it to work for you! :,D
