except for the plaiting, that`s the same knot i use to sew my clothes back together after a day of harvesting "WILD" black berrys thank you for the tips and ideas, hopefully there will be more in the future
Greetings; appreciate your videos...with this one I'm struggling to see all the cord action through your right hand at the beginning 😉 any help appreciated
Tena koe e hoa. What drill bits burrs sizes etc do you use to drill those ringbolt holes? Is it one of those flame type burr? Is it better to drill from both sides and meet in the middle? What size braid were you using for above lashing? Been enjoying your videos especially the lashings mauriora
I use a 1.5mm sphere burr for the pilot hole then a 2LR 2mm burr to widen it. Sometime use a flame or triangle to smooth the edges of the holes. I don't worry about going from both sides. I used 1mm waxed polyester. Kia kaha e hoa

I like to use a small blunted sewing needle for through hole work, it makeʻs it faster and more accurate. Awesome work as always.

Hey Campbell nice job! Question on your vice - Did you add any padded jaws to it, or is that what it comes with? Cheers!
This one came with rubber padding the Jaws which is great.
Awesome, nga mihi brother!
What size drill bit should I use for the holes for this kind of lashing
I use 1.5mm burr for these
