What if Alma was the reason why the sisterly friendship between Mirabel and Isabella ended and they grew up to have a less than ideal relationship with each other. I know it was confirmed that these two got along better in the past so what if they used to play and goof off as kids but Alma always pulled Isabella aside, telling her off for not being the graceful young lady she had in mind?
YO HEY HEY this may have been obvious but did Isabel suck all of the magic into her? So she’s literally the candle since she’s glowing and the “house” is now a forest the only way anyone could even TOUCH HER is through words it’d be cool if Isabella was the candle no one ( I’m just losing it now) like she’s advanced to the next stage of evolution she was GROWING PLANTS FROM HER HEAD A PLANT/HUMAN SYMBIOTIC BEING Mirabel is the next candle holder but the duty changed somewhat instead of the “house” (the house is grand PAPA) that they need to care for it’s Isabella improve the relationship with her that’s what all “candle holders” do she’s sacrificed her future just as stated just not in the whole breeding thing (why gram gram you HAD ENOUGH POWER LIKE FIVE CHILDREN!?!?) so she just guides the next generation’s (I’m just making a fanfic rn kinda cringe) until she meets an “Isabella” who wants to AVOID “MARRIAGE” THAN ISABELLA PASSES THE TORCH AKA SWITCHING PLACES MORTAL WITH IMMORTAL AHHHHHHHH I juuussst loveeee lasting consequences when magic is involved

Also vaggies relationship with Charlie is super cute I recommend the More than anything REPRISE with them it’s so cute (33 and their relationship please thanks and how vaggie lost her eye. :D please do this! Yea Mirabelle being told to let her siblings and cousins to do what they do best because they have powers and Isabella being forced to be perfect and marry someone for the family and not for love
All of the grandchildren, minus Antonio, and Bruno and Pepa have serious potential to become villains because of Abeula Alma Luisa- overworked and used Isabela- forced to be perfect, marry one she wasn't in love with and uphold the family name Mirabel- neglected, told she's not equal to her sisters or cousins Camilo- forced to be someone else (literally) every hour (most likely), probably has a loss sense of his actual identity Dolores- sensory overload, forced to watch her cousin marry HER love, in constant fight or flight reflex mode, probably going insane Pepa- forced to always be happy and keep her emotions to herself Bruno- practically abandoned and villainised for his gift to the extent he left to protect Mirabel so the family wouldn't abandon her or hate/be scared of her more

Demon slayer ( after the house was destroyed Mirabel keeps thinking what her grandmother said and decided to leave her home town and her family her family keeps looking for her and the hole town but no luck finding it's 5 year's and still no luck finding her rumors spreading that she becomes a demon slayer and kill by a demon but they don't believe it
