Yes vampiric does work with the velonasaurs ranged attack unless they changed it from then, one of Axe's velonasaurs has vampiric 2 and it appeared while shooting
As far as the tek stego, if you have it drop eggs onto a hatch frame a quarter wall height above the grinder, you can have a FULL afk farm. The grinder works on unclaimed babies now. The hatch frames prevent them from falling through the grinder when out of render. A quarter wall height still lets them be grinded.
Make sure you tell Axe and Jimbob to add their own tribe tower, though it won't look good on Axe's type of base (maybe). Yours is the best Mad Max base, and love the thyla!!! Great job so far!
Dont sleep on the stegos Syntac. Ive used them to solo many bosses, even alpha levels, and they are a popular tame to cheese the forest titan with. This is because of their impale ability dealing percent based damage between its own level, melee, and hp pool of the target

I may be mistaken, but the lights on the Dino display pedestals seem to show the color of the creature being displayed. The two male thalas had blue lights, the female had a pink one, and the unused ones were white.
You should build something similar to the raptor pen from Jurrasic park off of the breeding pen for taming and storing dino eggs/traits. That way it not only adds to the base it keeps the arena feel in the breeding pen instead of having machines everywhere.
Mmh... I wonder if you could implement some taming pen as a "entrance" on some or one of the gate for the creatures in the combat arena like lions and tigers in the colosseums... Would be able to connect the taming cage with the dome
Oh hey, the dinoball display changes colors on its lighting to show which gender is equipped inside it just for future reference so you wont have to open each one.
The I have found the armadoggo likes regular kibble the most. I knew it differs for others taming rates but I did a 135 insta tame with regular kibble 100% tamming effectiveness
creatures dont attack depending on the angle ur flying at with the carrying creature usually if ur flying more level u wont get attacked but as soon as u fly slightly up or down bam they attack

Leech blood should go in the fridge, so should the nodules and organic poly. You can build the super preservation bin from Bobs and put preserving salt in it that pretty much makes stuff last forever. You sat there looking at that bad trait ...inherit health frail. You built the arena to kill babies why are you doing that on the grinder? Grind up tek stego babies for resources. You have Yutis don't you? Are you making extra kibble?
They're using Dino Depot. It and Super Cryo Storage are the two I've found most like the dino soul ball mod everyone used on ASE. They are both excellent mods & have most of the same features.
@ thanks. I saw those two but wasn’t sure which is best. everyone wants the old stuff and it’s easier than ever to mod it in. An unfortunate side effect is tons of mediocre mods of the same thing drowning out all the good ones.
@DreadEnder no problem! I’ve used SCS the most because it was crossplay from the start, but I’ve used DD a good bit too. There are things on each that I wish the other had, but their main features are comparable enough that I’m happy using either one. Both authors are super nice and continually improving and adding more. So I don’t feel like you can go wrong with either functionally. It’ll be more about little things. I.e. DD has terminal skins and a storage only box, SCS doesn’t yet. Both have display cases for dinos. SCS allows you to select which dinos you kill in the terminal, instead of just killing all. SCS has a function to change Dino paths (i.e. when ceratosaurus was added to main game, I could change it so the modded ones would become vanilla and no one lost their previously caught dinos when the mod was removed). Not sure about DD on that one. Both incubate and catch babies. Both allow resource generation. There are a lot of settings you can adjust on both. DD terminal, guns, and cryos are cheaper and available sooner by default, but that can be changed on SCS via .ini.
What are the breeding rates on the server? I copied what was in the discord but our breeding rates are way slower than what you just did haha I am awful at figuring out the rates

I had a Thyla on the island with Vampiric 3 and I bred it and put the trait on the imprinted child. It was basically invincible in caves.

Armadoggos have not been fixed. I perfect tamed a 180 yesterday and it tamed out at 257.

I miss dino storage and how it showed the baby's stats in color to show whether it was the male or females stat

How hes able to find near max thyla's amazes me when the max level I find is 120 after looking for 1hr *with the gene scanner.
That's the problem, if you haven't ascended on any maps, the gene scanner wont show you where a max level is
