What if you wanted to calibrate to 3000 psi? Would the 729 still be able to do the calibration?

Hi Alan - The Fluke 729 will not be able to source a pressure that high. With the Fluke 729 300G you would be able to generate up to 300 PSI maximum. An alternative option with the Fluke 729 would be the Fluke 700HTP-2 hydraulic test pump to generate pressures up to 10,000 PSI paired with the 750P pressure module capable of measuring your desired range.
