I bought this bench from Amazon... it was listed under the company balancefrom but has the exact parts here. Problem is the bench has plastic wrap under the bolts meaning it was wrapped before being bolted, the first part that goes is bolted into the bench has one end bent slightly and scratched. The short pins don’t fit the whole. The one leg is scratched as well and I can’t get this thing together. Any ideas on what I can do?
Dang! I hate to hear that. Mine was new with all the hardware but I’m hearing about that being the case with this bench more and more. I appreciate you watching.
Don't suppose you have the measurements between the 2 racks? A friend just recommend this to me and want to check a few things as I've had this style before but didn't get on with it very well. Hoping this is a bit better! Awesome video btw
I just bought this and put it together. Maybe you know but I do not know what the parts “brackets” are for. They are the ones that go with the pins under the other pins that adjust the height of the rack. I did install them like it said in the manual but I have no idea what they are for. I think they are labeled as brackets part g in the manual.
The space between the plates had about 1/4 inch give and was kinda sloppy. I tightened the bolt until it squeezed the leg. That worked for me. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
How much weight can this bench hold? I see online it says 330lbs capacity, so is that my weight plus the weight of the bar and plates or 330lbs of weights from the bar and plates alone?
Alexo I can’t say that I ever maxed it out to 330 but the way the "Y" sits on top of the uprights leads me to believe it can support as much weight as the metal of the Y can sustain. Perhaps a weight test might be a future video but I don’t want to destroy mine just yet ;-). Thanks so much for watching.
The 330lbs max is on the bench itself. So your weight would factor in as well. So technically, a 200lb man shouldn’t be benching more than 130lbs on the bench. That’s a big reason why it’s only $100
I’m afraid you have to disassemble it and put it together in that order (made the same mistake myself). Let me know how you like it. Mine is a space saver. Thanks for watching.
NitroFPS The easiest way is to detach one side of the under bench bar holder. Then put the bench on and attach the upright to the under bench bar holder. Let me know how it works out.
I believe a 12mm socket and a 1/8” allen wrench. They include a small wrench and a soft metal allen wrench. Thanks so much for watching. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Absolutely! I’m 230 plus and it has no problem supporting me. Of course I don’t stand on it to do bent over rows or anything crazy like that but general usage yes. Of course it has a strap to do sit-ups but I’m not brave enough to try that yet. Thanks for watching. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Sad to say, no it cannot. The bench is one piece. The only way to add an incline would be to add an additional padded piece of wood. Plus, I don’t think the bar holders go up high enough to accommodate an incline start position. I’d love it if it could.
Daddy King Thanks for the feedback. I try to give an overview of every step. Let me know if you have any questions about any particular step in the process. If I don’t have an answer maybe another viewer will. Hey, thanks so much for watching!
Thanks so much. I greatly appreciated the feedback. I’ll take it to heart. And thanks so much for watching. I hope it was helpful in spite of the speed.
Wu Wily Sorry, this is not high enough to lift a bar while standing under a. Plus, the bench sits where you’d stand if it had the height. I have not seen a collapsible bench that works with a portable squat rack (I pull this bench from the wall to lift then up against the wall when I’m done). Hey, thanks for watching. Let us know if you go this route.
@@wilypj12 What a GREAT question. I should have included that in the review. Maybe another video is needed. Sadly max height is only 41 inches so it is very much just a bench press bench. I could not even come up with a way of doing incline bench presses on it. But, hey, it's the only collapsible weight bench I've seen.

Oh also.. what's the safety bits like.. they look quite small.... Would they save you if u needed to rest...?

I think it could be used for another barbell. I tried that and it supported 150 lbs no problem. Thanks so much for watching!
for step 2 do all 3 holes supose to line up?
Yes, they do line up.
I bought this. And it has different parts but it doesnt fit pieces. The nylon nuts dont let screw even go through.
For step 2 what size was the bolt you used on the ratchet
Hey man I got a question on step 3. I have the socket wrench and a t wrench but it's still wobbly. What do I do?
The space between the plates had about 1/4 inch give and was kinda sloppy. I tightened the bolt until it squeezed the leg. That worked for me. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@@FieldGuidetoDIY Ok so it's normal to not be fully tight?
@@nitro1823 It appears so. So if it isn’t, put the squeeze on it just to firm it up; not too tight.

On step 4 what side do we have to place the screws in? Is it the side with the ring?
Yes sir. That is correct. Thanks so much for watching.
i have basically the same one skyyon ? The assembly is not the same for attaching the pad to the crossbar.?
How is it different?
Hey man I was wondering if I could get some help. I put together the bar holders before putting in the actual bench. Do I just disasembble it?

and is the tools that came the product not good?
@@kdparttwo9990 They’re okay but nothing to start a toolset with. They work this setup but would not work long term.
