Wild hogs are tearing up farm and ranch land everywhere and we are tasked with helping the farmers and ranchers reclaim their land. The hogs make it virtually impossible for some of these people to grow crops such as corn, wheat and oats in certain areas. Farming and ranching are what these people depend on to feed their families which is one reason we do this. This is not your typical hunting. This is eradicating a problem animal from problem areas. Hope you enjoy.

Any heat signature that runs, is a hog.
Any heat signature that doesn’t run, is a well disciplined hog.

We were thinking they were gonna run to the left which would have been right at us cause that’s the way we watched the walk for 10 minutes but nope.

Get yun's a crank off an old boat trailer and mount it to your toolbox in the bed of the truck...It'll go a long way towards saving your back when you get older. Slide em up a couple of 2×8's right into the bed. My dumba** realized that too late to save mine. One disk removed in '94, and two others bulging ready to pop at any minute. Almost 57yrs old and my back is trashed.

I heard that these feral pigs are smart and adapt to strategies deployed by hunters, is that true from your experiences?

      @HickoryFlatBoars  2 роки тому +1

It is very true. They are smarter than most people give them credit for.

Growing up on a farm in Alberta Canada, we had pigs and you had to watch your back with those assholes.
I was just a kid at the time and my father always told me don't turn your back on those bastards.
Everytime one got close to me I'd smack em on the head with the shovel I carried to clean their stalls to maintain distance.
The fact that some killers have disposed their victim's bodies by feeding it to pigs should tell you plenty about them.
They clearly eat anything and everything.
When I was even younger, being on my grandfather's farm, he had pigs that got up to 500 plus pounds and he drilled it into my head never to step into their pens.
Overall I think I can trace my dislike for pigs back to those days.
Seeing those wild hogs get exterminated without mercy brings a smile to my face.
I seen how destructive the domestic pigs can be in their own pens, I can only picture the damage they cause in these cases.

If I were a landowner, I would insist on seeing the video from each and everyone of you shooters. I would demand the following.… You will not shoot towards my cows. To you will not shoot any pig twice until you’re shot every pig once. Everybody gets a first before anybody gets a second…
3.. I would make sure that you are sufficiently accurate with your shooting to be on my property. That means you know how to lead. If you do not know how to lead and if you keep shooting the same pig more than once when there are others that need to be shot. ( I don’t give a damn where they are hit I just want you to hit them once)… then you will not come back on my property and I will find someone else to do the shooting.
And I will watch every video to make sure I am satisfied with your shooting before you come back.

No disrespect towards you but if we had to do all that then we would just move on to another place. The people we hunt for trust us. All the videos you are commenting on about the shooting around cows are 99% being done by one person and that person has specifically been told to shoot like that by the gentleman who owns the cows because he’s losing 10s of thousands of dollars a year in feed to the pigs. Also there have been a whole lot of times that a pig shot once lives for us to shot them later. We like to stop the pigs before we move on. Farmers and ranchers like dead pigs. Not a bunch of wounded living pigs. Anyways, thanks for watching and commenting on our videos.
