    Quality. The intro alone is just fucking great with the editing and the series you guys made up and the hot babe pink cars and then the sick music build up and Doomsee with the upside down dodge pass (Wow how does he do that I sure want to learn to do that in this video oh boy) and then the shot on goal when the play comes together AND THE DROP AND THEN YOU ARE JUST SCREAMING AT YOUR COMPUTER WITH EXCITEMENT IT'S ANOTHER TUTORIAL THE WAIT IS OVER WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!
    3 months is a long time, but as long as you guys keep other RL stuff on here in the meanwhile, I'm happy to wait if this is the result. Keep it up lads!

    14:15 - So wait a second; for in-air dodging, right and left sides of the car don't change even if it is upside down? The ball would be (from the driver's perspective) to the front and RIGHT, and yet you tell us to dodge to the front and left. This confuses me, since for backwards aerials left and right **are** swapped.

    Don't know if it's been mentioned, but you can cancel your flips as well. I usually do this while reversing, to get myself forward again without losing momentum.
    While reversing, backflip. Once the car rotates around so your facing forward again, flick the stick the other way just long enough to stop rotation, and then air roll around so your wheels touch down nice and pretty.
    You can do it with frontflips, too, so if you're gunning for the goal you can frontflip, stop when upside down, and roll so you're facing the whole pitch, ready for blocks.

    In the last example, being upside down does matter though. Not for dodging forwards or backwards, but when you're upside down, your left and right are switched.So in the example you would not press left and forward. You would press right and forward

    It hurts my brain but makes total sense
    ...I so very often keep trying to use a dodge to gain height...good to know.
    Also worth pointing out - physics affects your car during all aerial time...except while you dodge - during that dodge animation the ball whapping your car won't affect the car's heading but outside of a dodge animation your car will end up wonky.

  • @linggaming7038
    @linggaming7038 8 років тому

    Quick question because something is really bothering me: When trying to do an aerial, at some point, you become unable to dodge. I've been trying to understand how it works but all I got is that when you fall without jumping (falling from the ceiling), you can dodge anytime even 10 seconds after leaving the floor. Thing is, when you actually jump, I feel like after 2 seconds or so I can't dodge anymore. How does it work exactly?
