@@thebritstry I don’t often eat Wendy’s outside of a frosty. If I’m going to eat a fast food burger I’d eat five guys and they have some amazing fries but be warned if you get a large it’s the cup overflowing into the bag.
I work at a wendys, and I think you guys just went to either a bad location, or got them when they were busy and mucking up cuz they're rushing. Couple of times I underfilled fries and didnt notice but usually someone else does quality control. And as the grill person I know for a FACT baconators are supposed to have 3 slices of bacon on each patty. I think you just got the ex con wendys not the teenager saving up for a car wendys. Wendys hits different when people do their job correctly but its fast food so sometimes everyones getting stoned in the break room.

Mcdonalds had a great mushroom swiss burger about a decade ago that was definately seasoned but that was the only fast food burger i remember being seasoned. If yall ever see a Hardees(Monster Burger and Mushroom Swiss Burger) or a Backyard Burger(Mushroom Swiss Burger) yall should try them.
Just a note on linguistic differences, in American English it’s the meat patty that makes a sandwich a burger, so those are chicken sandwiches. The original hamburgers used toasted bread, the hamburger bun was invented later.
As somebody that has worked at Wendy's in my past. I can honestly say you might have found one of the worst ones in the country. Also a Baconator is supposed to have 6 full sized pieces of bacon, and the Fries are required to be full, so both the person running the friers and the one filling orders both didn't do their job and neither did the person making sandwiches. No Wendy's should have have more than one person screwing up, so that means the manager(s) aren't doing their job either and possibly the owner of that franchise location too.
I worked at McDonald's for a few months in high school and we used to joke how you couldn't possibly make anything that looked like what they show on the commercials or the posters with the ingredients they provided.
So I don't eat pork, but I can guarantee you, whoever made your baconator ate about 4 of your bacon strips. lol. With Wendy's, I highly recommend trying their baked potato, I usually get it with cheese, but they have it with cheese and bacon, or chili cheese. You can't get baked potatoes from ANY other fast food spot, so its worth trying if you ask me. Also, yes, LOVE the frosty! In March, for Lent, they usually have a Panko Fish Sandwich that is really good.
Lol! Yeah the bacon was sadly missing! We did not know it was possible to get Baked potatoes from Wendy's. They sound delicious and we definitely need to try those!
STOP complaining about the TOMATOES . When you order your food just ask them to take the TOMATOES OFF 😒 . It's very SIMPLE ,people do it ALL the time. ORDER your food WITHOUT the TOMATOES 😁. Please do a part 2 people love Wendy's chili they will order the chili and put it on top of their fries with cheese OR they will order a baked potato with cheese and put the chili on top. But order the chili it's a very popular dish on its own. And tell us your opinion. Wendy's is also popular for their Frosty. This is the popular dip they dip in their fries . 😉

In regards to comments that a chicken sandwich is not a burger. It's half true. What you had was what in America is called a chicken sandwich. A chicken burger would be made out of ground (minced) meat. At fast food places you will usualy find two different chicken products. Chicken sandwich, usualy made with breast filets. It can be breaded or grilled. Or a chicken patty, it's a processed patty, usually in a burger shape and breaded. A sit down restaurant most likely would have the chicken burger option. Hope this helps. I came here from Germany, and I still don't understand that mayonnaise for fries is strange here. Edit: a chicken patty usually has a bread crumb crust. A burger is just made from the ground meat, some spices and perhaps binders added, but no breading on the outside.
If you want more flavor, grab some of the condiments. Salt, pepper, extra sauces and other seasoning is free. Season it to your taste instead of complaining about it. It will either be too much seasoning or not enough. That's why a lot of places go easy on seasoning.
The burgers at Wendy's are ok, but when I go there all I ever get is a large chilli and the baked potato with cheese and bacon, and you must get the hot sauce for the chilli. I think Wendy's has the best chilli of any fast food place. I never go to Wendy's for a burger, if I want a good burger I go to a local bar near me that has a half pound steakburger that is amazing. My favorite fast food place for burgers is Steak n Shake, they do those smashed thin steakburgers, and they are really good.

They also have hot sauce just for the chilli. Steak n Shake is not everywhere, only in parts of America. They are known for the double and triple steakburgers, and the milk shakes, they smash them down so they are real thin burger patties and they get crispy on the edges, they are really good. They also have the best milk shakes of anywhere I go to. When I go to Wendy's I always get a large chilli, with the hot sauce, and a baked potato with cheese and bacon, cost about $8.00.
If you could have seen me in my living. Room, watching y’all eat Wendy’s, and audibly begging you to dip your fries in that Frosty. The relief that I felt at the end was extreme. Wendy’s fries in a Frosty is a treat from my teen years that I have never grown out of. It’s delicious.

If you don't like tomato, why don't you order your sandwich without it instead of complaining about later? They'll custom make your burger or sandwich to your tastes if you would only ask when ordering.
Dont know if they still do but Wendy's had a list of ingredients options on the menu board if you ordered inside.You start with the standard ingredients as listed on each sandwich.You can have anything you don't like left off and add extra of the standard ingredients or different ones on the board but the extra ones will be an upcharge.Also don't customize in the drive thu and check your order for the correct toppings before you leave.The frosty isn't technically a milkshake.Its s frozen dessert.Always ask for the long spoons to eat it.The chili is mild and made from the burgers that time out on the grill.If you like it on the spicy side bring your own red peppers and spice it up to your liking.
The wrapper the burger comes in works good for keeping it from dripping on your clothes and car. They usually work better than napkins which tend to soak through.

wendys generally sucks more than not. Most big chains like that have lost what made them so great and the cost goes up and the size or quality goes down. Also you can order almost every fast food with or with out what you want on it.
Through the years I probably had at least 10 Wendy's Baconator and everyone I ever had had tons of flavor and had six to eight pieces of bacon. It sounds like you got ripped😂

I always go for the biggie bag so you get fires, nuggets, a drink and a sandwich. Wendys is one of the few places whos smaller cheap sandwiches are not lesser quality.
The Frosty is really between a shake and ice cream. It is better/easier to eat w a spoon. A lot of people do dip their fries in their Frosties - it is a thing. 😀 It looks like you went to a poorly run Wendy's. The Baconator is my favorite item there and the one you got looked terrible, it had too much ketchup and too little bacon. If you go back in the future I would try a different location.
Ughhhh I'm too fat to not help next time get the spicy asiago ranch club with a sweet and sour sauce. And the berry lemonade. And the sugar cookies there are good. Lol

Found your channel! Your videos are interesting; Still watching through them. Can tell you’re Brits because you are adamant about calling the chicken sandwich a chicken burger like you do in the UK! LOL I also see by previous posts and the video that you weren’t aware that you can personalize your sandwiches in the U.S. I guess you didn’t do much research or watch many coming to America UA-cam videos before you got here. (Assuming since I just found your videos and don’t know you both that well!) I am with a lot of the other posters that you were gypped on your baconator and your fries. Plus you definitely need to go back and try the other favorites on their menu. My favorite things are the chili, spicy chicken sandwich (no tomato), the frosty (not a milkshake!) and the bacon and cheese potato. I don’t usually get any burgers except from the value menu because I really like the chicken they serve. Now going to check out more of your videos!

@@thebritstry Dave double. The new baconator with the pretzel bun. I haven't tried that yet, but the bun may cut the salt some. I LOVE their vanilla shake and hate when do all the seasonal flavors and take away vanilla. The Baconator is good too, but I think you need a good restaurant. Their fries are great too. But if you guys are in your car for a bit, and the fries sit in the steam, they will get soggy, as do all thick style fries. I recommend eating the fries first to try them, then go back to them.
Dipping fries in shake is a real thing in the usa not everyone likes it but their our plenty of people who do of course that being said I am not one of them but wendy's rustic cut fries and they use sea salt and the fries 🍟 need to be eaten 1st before you eat anything else as I pass bag of burgers to everyone I am eating fries out of everyone's meal stealing fries is a time honored tradition we all do it😎

They are reviewing the food - that is the whole point of the video. So that is why they are stating their opinions re: the food - which they have a right to do. I agree, the Baconator is my favorite item at Wendy's. The one they got looked terrible - there was too much ketchup and was short on bacon. I think they must have gone to a poorly run Wendys.
That's the worst looking Wendy's food I've ever seen... try another location and get the spicy chicjen sandwich with ranch dressing on it. You need to add it yourself. And biggie bag with a double stack and spicy nuggets. every time you order food ask for it freshly made. If they say they can't do it, ask for no salt on the fries and they have to make it fresh for you.
That is a sad looking baconator. 😂 It usually doesn't look that bad. Wendy's has gone downhill a lot over the last 20 years. They were good when I was a kid. Now it just makes me feel bloated. Their chicken burger is ok. Their frosties are the only good thing left really.
The spicy chicken is by far the better sandwich ....y'all have the worst luck with fries....their burgers are decent...never frozen....honestly all fast food has gone down hill in quality since covid.... Also, start asking your viewers for recommendations over those that work at said place....frosty and hot salted fries is really where it's at!!!!

It helpd if you use the proper sauces for the proper food. Honey in Mustard is almost always used for Chicken for example

The Baconator is my favorite item there and the one you got looked terrible, it had too much ketchup and too little bacon. If you go back in the future I would try a different location.

Wendys was WAAAAYY better 15-20 years ago before they changed the thickness of the beef patties and "butter" the buns.

Found your channel! Your videos are interesting; Still watching through them. Can tell you’re Brits because you are adamant about calling the chicken sandwich a chicken burger like you do in the UK! LOL I also see by previous posts and the video that you weren’t aware that you can personalize your sandwiches in the U.S. I guess you didn’t do much research or watch many coming to America UA-cam videos before you got here. (Assuming since I just found your videos and don’t know you both that well!) I am with a lot of the other posters that you were gypped on your baconator and your fries. Plus you definitely need to go back and try the other favorites on their menu. My favorite things are the chili, spicy chicken sandwich (no tomato), the frosty (not a milkshake!) and the bacon and cheese potato. I don’t usually get any burgers except from the value menu because I really like the chicken they serve. Now going to check out more of your videos!

@@thebritstry Dave double. The new baconator with the pretzel bun. I haven't tried that yet, but the bun may cut the salt some. I LOVE their vanilla shake and hate when do all the seasonal flavors and take away vanilla. The Baconator is good too, but I think you need a good restaurant. Their fries are great too. But if you guys are in your car for a bit, and the fries sit in the steam, they will get soggy, as do all thick style fries. I recommend eating the fries first to try them, then go back to them.

Dipping fries in shake is a real thing in the usa not everyone likes it but their our plenty of people who do of course that being said I am not one of them but wendy's rustic cut fries and they use sea salt and the fries 🍟 need to be eaten 1st before you eat anything else as I pass bag of burgers to everyone I am eating fries out of everyone's meal stealing fries is a time honored tradition we all do it😎

hmm, it's been a while since I ate there. I would probably go with Spicy Chicken Sandwich but would tell them mustard instead of mayo (I hate mayo and onions! 🙂 )

They are reviewing the food - that is the whole point of the video. So that is why they are stating their opinions re: the food - which they have a right to do. I agree, the Baconator is my favorite item at Wendy's. The one they got looked terrible - there was too much ketchup and was short on bacon. I think they must have gone to a poorly run Wendys.

That's the worst looking Wendy's food I've ever seen... try another location and get the spicy chicjen sandwich with ranch dressing on it. You need to add it yourself. And biggie bag with a double stack and spicy nuggets. every time you order food ask for it freshly made. If they say they can't do it, ask for no salt on the fries and they have to make it fresh for you.

That is a sad looking baconator. 😂 It usually doesn't look that bad. Wendy's has gone downhill a lot over the last 20 years. They were good when I was a kid. Now it just makes me feel bloated. Their chicken burger is ok. Their frosties are the only good thing left really.

The spicy chicken is by far the better sandwich ....y'all have the worst luck with fries....their burgers are decent...never frozen....honestly all fast food has gone down hill in quality since covid....
Also, start asking your viewers for recommendations over those that work at said place....frosty and hot salted fries is really where it's at!!!!
