I LOVE my Kia Rio S (United States here)! It get almost 43 MPG on the highway and is not as small as they claim. I wouldn't consider it a subcompact, but somewhere between a compact and regular sedan, honestly. It fits a lot of stuff! I take it camping regularly. Also, the smoothness and ride are really nice. The audio is super decent, too! I can't believe they have a hybrid version!!! There's no such thing over here, unfortunately.
Great review, just what I wanted. I have just purchased a Kia Rio 2 Turbo! It will be here in 2 weeks - One thing I am not sure about is if it has a keyless start, I will have to check. Thanks again for the great review, much appreciated!
The mat used to cover the back ledge is the one you threw away. Throwing the shelf way would cost you money. I needed to cover what's underneath not to tempt break-ins.
I have 2020 Kia Rio 1.4 in Australia. Got it as brand new and I'm still loving it every km i drive in it! So fun, simplistic, practical, not big fuel guzzler, easy to park anywhere in city, and also good for long distance road trips! Dont feel bad at all about owning this car
I've had a Rio GT line DCT since March 2019 and can honestly say it is the best small car I have ever had. The car is fast enough, economical and very handsome, I have not had one problem with it in almost 3 years and cannot see the point in changing it as it has covered just 16000 miles.
I got mine in white earlier this week, and I looooove it. Definitely strange getting used to the smaller engine, having only driven my mum’s cerato before this.
This got out of date quickly. They want £600 for a non-standard colour now, in 2023. EDIT: It doesn't matter that the electric battery helps you to get over 50mpg if the cost of replacing the battery is £4,000. That's called a false economy. Good video. Definitely thumbs up.
bought a kia rio 2 last week, looking forward to getting it but there is a huge delay on receiving them after ordering at the moment, 5 months. At least it'll have the newest reg.
Have to take this back. Just realised the 11.5k price was only if you took leasing with a ripoff interest rate. The real price was significantly higher

Considering buying it new on USA. How much was it out of door?
Great comment
I have 2009 Kia Rio LX, 53000km, bought it brand new. It's just great.

How have the 1.4 engines been holding up in Australia ? Any bad press on them ?
very good detailing, better than other reviews.
Thanks for the comment
Good review, thank you
Thanks for watching!

Really informative video - thanks!
(I must say that a lot of the clips look like there's fog on the camera lens!)
please atleast clean the camera's lens... it looks so unprofessional. good review though just that misty thing kept happening.
Like my Kia (so far) but media news and a little personal experience says their warranty in play is not good.
I also reviewed the Kia Rio in my channel and I must say i was impressed! Dated but decent value for money!
Thanks for the comment much appreciated

👍 Great car.
I totally agree and many thanks for the comment
Great review. Think I would go for the Rio 2. Best value for money. Not sure a man of your age should be wearing skinny jeans.
I have a 1.6 in the US pounding a blistering 120hp
No spare is a deal breaker.
can you add what the delivery time would be , some companies are saying 6 months for new cars
Great idea, thanks for the comment
yep I spoke to 2 dealers who said that is the wait time for all new kias. Mine is estimated at 5 months.
Just cancelled my order as at least another 6 months and ordered 2 months ago
In the US I have 1.6 120hp at 45.5 mpg average.
The Rio starts from 11500EUR in Europe so it's even cheaper here in appears
what country? :O

Was this a 2020 or 21?
