Is it just me or am I the only one who thinks she's always sounded like this except in the past her voice sounded a little more soft and gentle? She almost sounds like me (not saying I sound like Ariana Grande), like I sometimes talk in a higher softer voice in public or on the phone or when I'm nervous and I'm self conscious about how I sound to others but when I'm relaxed and talk the way I naturally would my voice does sound deeper and more relaxed? I wish I could explain it better but that's what this sounds like to me. Could also be that she's been singing a lot for years so maybe she's trying to just talk more naturally cause her voice is tired and she doesn't want to put any unnecessary strain on it. 🤷 Edit: I didn't watch the full video before commenting and didn't realize that the "soft spoken voice" was referring to the voice she was using for the wizard of Oz lol
the soft voice is used to preserve her singing voice. Michael jackson did the same thing.

Did she change her voice in the middle of this?😅
She does it to preserve her voice for singing. Everyone’s making drama over nothing
Maybe smoking?
Definitely not
