I can't thank you enough. I bought and converted a 9890 and it's absolutely epic. Thank you for making it so easy! I did take it one step farther and put a drain on the waste tanks that drain into a coke bottle.
what did you use for the drain? I used a mini tray funnel glued to the top of the maintanence tank and made a whole in the double wall to run a hose thru
@@user-pe8ir4iy1e I drilled a hole in the front of the tank and put an 1/8" npt to 1/8" hose barb. I used the same barb into the bottle cap. Got them in Amazon for $8 for a five pack
Really educational, not only for professional knowledge, but also my listening comprehension as I'm not a native speaker. I will keep following your videos!
Do you know of any discord channels or forums where I might be able to seek some help from? We bought an already converted 7880 with the line already flushed with Simple Green and distilled water. We're just running in to some issues getting familiar with the machine
I’m debating on purchasing a Epson P6000. I was told the difference between an American version vs an Asian version is you cannot long term reset it. After 9 Ink Refills it will revert to only allowing you to run OEM Epson Ink. There are some hoops to jump through. The printer you are using is it an American Version or Asian version?
I haven't went so far as to check to see which version I am running. I've heard that the p6000 carts can bet reset 20 times(allowing for 21 uses), and after that, the printer is designed to block that serial from being used on that specific channel. The only ones who have figured out how to bypass that issue is DTGPro. So, when people ask about buying a p6000, I usually just tell them to order from DTGPro, since they have engineers who work on these types of solutions.
@@Ricks2Cents Hi, what is the solution if my cartridges are not being recognized after being reset (I am not sure how many times they have been reset)? Is it replacing the chips? Thanks for your help.
@@AM-le7rr To my knowledge there are only 10 SNs being passes around between 3 different suppliers. So after series number # 10 serial number your screwed!!! There is no Firmware Crack currently available to disable this. This is why people are selling Unclocked Asian versions for $10k+ when they only cost $2500 New.
Hey Elegant I have a question for you. I replaced the dampers and print head on my epson 7800 printer and now when I try to print something there is nothing showing. What do you think may be wrong?
What u do is amazing! But i have a question. Why don't you bypass the cartridge and connect the ink/flush directly to the tubes? There is a technical problems? Second question is about waste tank- mayby better do a hole and add a pipe to the outside tank for waste?
This would definitely be a better solution, but I never wanted to spend the time, to run the external lines into a bottle. Even when you do this, you will still need to remove the waste tank and reset it, from time to time. It will definitely save money, on the cost to replace the pads, from inside the maintenance tank.
@@elegant_edits I make a external button to waste tank. When it's full - only one long click and it's empty. Something like in small Epson printer with inkchip.
I have a doubt, I see that you did not use the original chips of your epson cartridges, you simply put the refillable ones and with that it recognized them?
Yes. Part of the beauty of the 7890 is that we don't have to do any special steps, in terms of the carts being able to be read. the ARC chips on the resettable carts, along with the chip resetter should work, just fine.

Easy question, I have a 7890 I am going to convert. Can I empty the gem ink out of the cartridges and fill with cleaner and use them for that purpose?
I have heard of someone doing it, but I never followed up with them. I will ask him, tonight.
Loved your vedios.Want to see more videos on L1800.

I didn't know you had to dilute the pizo flush..?
Which ink configuration you will use? I have 7890 to and using cadlink. I couldn’t be sure which configuration i need to use. TIA.

What is the color setup on acro rip 10.5 for Epson 7890 dtf printer
Can get acrorip 10.5 from Etsy for $40
Those are counterfeit/pirated. I'm an authorized seller of AcroRip, now. We've come a long way, in such sort time.
how many initial fill you had to do to flush the lines
2-3, because we need to ensure all of the cleaning solution passes through the system, so it doesn't contaminate your inks.
Can the 9880 be converted ?
Yes. It is the same exact process; only wider format
@@elegant_edits what rip software you use
@@infinity-signs I'm using AcroRip 10.4
11 is coming out, soon
You can run the l1800 on the l805 printer settings and it will run faster as well
