When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was some super-detailed 1/35 kit, when I saw the title, and the fact its 1/72 I was very surprised, I cant believe you can get such scales to look so realistic, amazing work, still the best model aircraft youtuber I've seen! Keep up the good work! Thanks
Well done David, the F16 is a very popular model plane to build and you have certainly done it proud. It is without doubt the best example of a model F16 that I have ever seen. It just looks so real! the paint and weathering that you did were perfect and just bring this model to life, well done sir! Joe
Hi David, It's really interesting to watch your style .I would never personally assemble the wheel wells with all the landing gear bits and then paint them. But it certainly works for you and surprisingly looks good (at least in the video). This Fighting Falcon looks really good, especially painting and weathering as some people already said.I like to watch your videos.I've been making models since I was 5 or 6,but now with a little baby at home and other commitments,no time for my hobby.Watching your videos inspire me a lot to start again.Keep up with your great work.Diky Pavel Ahoj Davide, Je opravdu zajimave sledovat tvuj styl modelareni.Ja bych asi nikdy neslepil podvozkove sachty i s podvozkovyma nohama dohromady jeste pred barvenim.Musim ale rict,ze i tak, jak to delas Ty,to nakonec vypada dobre. Libi se mi tvuj styl barveni a opotrebeni, ktery pouzivas na svych modelech. Tvoje videa jsou mi inspiraci k dalsi praci, kterou ted uz cca 3 roky zanedbavam z duvodu rodicovskych povinnosti. A dying Hobby unfortunately. I would say it would be rare to see a young man having the desire or patience to get into this hobby. I'm 57 and haven't been in the hobby for over 30 years. I have a HUGE collection of maybe 300 unbuilt/ still in the box, car and military jet models that I accumulated when I managed a local chain Hobbyshop. Every paycheck I'd buy a few kits a week.I'm getting the itch to build again BUT....if I start building again I want to build 1/48th scale. 1/78 is too small for my fat sausage fingers . This video 👍 !
Fantastic work as always David. And that's some shine you got on that canopy. Mine always seem to dull a little regardless of the lustre they may have had before masking, once it is removed the shine has often been noticeably lessened.
You build really great models...You have inspired me to get back into the hobby...Thank You for all your video's... I hope mine will turn out like yours one day...
i understand that the most civil aircrafts have a boring look compared with the military ones but i think that there are a few civil ones which are looking realy great and elegant f.e. bf 108; fw 200 condor in lufthansa colors; a350 xwb.For the fw 200 condor (trumpter) there are some accessoires from eduard available.
Hallo, what a beautyfull airplane. Thank you for showing your skills. Mean while I saw many of your Videos. Well done! Its allways a pleasure for me to see you working. I'm looking forward to your next Videos. Greetings from Germany.
if you take requests I would love to see how one of revells locomotive kits turn out with you building them. you have some insain patience and talents. can't wait to see the next build.
Awesome !!! Great Job !!! At 4:10, do you only use xf 22 for the base? ...'' or do you mix others colors ? '' or do you dilute it more than usual (i mean, more thinner than paint) ?'' The color at 4:10 looks different when compared to xf 22 which is more dark .. All the best, Fernando
Great work (as always)! I have seen almost all your videos and I'm subscribed. Still, I would like to see something a little more subtle when it comes to the weathering (the grey on this model is nearly lost with the heavy weathering). Just personal preference but otherwise, you are right up there with the best! Looking forward to more.
David--I know you're a stickler for details. I was a mechanic on the F-16 back in the day. You're missing the anti-static rills off the back of either tail plane.
That's a sweet piece of work. You're an artist, amongst the best on UA-cam. I have a request or a suggestion, could you do a warship in say 1/700, Tamiya ones are good but there are plenty of others makers. I'd be interested to see how you use the techniques in that smaller scale, particularly the weathering. I'm doing the Trumpeter 1/700 Warspite (1915) at the moment. Thanks
Stupid me trying to follow along while being a beginner. You just teleported the fucking exhaust in the model without saying anything about the paint you used on it. I haven't bought the required paint and now I'm stuck with an uncomplete set of paints. Awesome. Thanks.
In that situation if I dont have a spray gun for the surface painting, is that possible to paint the surface with a flat brush without filling up the panel lines and making them absolutely disappear? Or is it available with spray gun only? The same problem with the varnish: do i have to mix it with solvent before taking it on the surface or not? If i use flat brush to make the varnishing, will it leave lines in the varnish or i can achieve the same flat surface like sparying technique can?
This is one of my favorite videos on your channel. The end result looks amazing, keep up the good work sir.

The results obtained by the oil wash were MINDBLOWING!!
Very nice job! This Tamiya 1/72 scale has so much more out-of-the-box detail than my 1/32 scale Revell F-16.
Damn nice job. thanks for adding captions on what you use as well. Helped me a lot in my model builds!
I just love your build of this kit/plane. I must have watched it a dozen times. Just stunning.
What! No open hatches and engines? Kidding - another superb build. The best detailing ever.
I bought an F-16 1/72 to start my first mount! Thanks for inspiring me!
Su trabajo está a un nivel realmente superior.
Si no fuera porque nunca se deja de aprender, sería perfecto.

yeah and I had heard that the horizontal tail stabilizers can have some serious sun bleaching if the plane spends allot of time on the flight line.
Great build ,I'm doing one at the moment i assure you your video is going to be replayed many times over .Thanks .

Everybody builds f-16s nowadays :/ but you made the best one!
f16 is a beautiful aircraft, thats why :)
FsAviX no its the most common
FsAviX that fat fuck is ugly just saying
Mr Fathead Fat?
Mr Fathead its ugly because its common? Well that makes no sense
A dying Hobby unfortunately.

Very nice again David. Always a pleasure to see your work.
Love coming here and watching your videos !!!! your work is amazing...beautiful stuff
Another superb build, museum class workmanship, coupled to a great video, thanks for sharing.
This is amazing. I’ve learned more in 5 minutes on your channel than I have in years of building. This is movie special effects miniatures quality.
Excellent work. Waiting for the Tamiya 1/72 F-35 video
You build really great models...You have inspired me to get back into the hobby...Thank You for all your video's...
I hope mine will turn out like yours one day...
You're skill level is super impressive! Best I've seen yet.

Amazing! You are awesome! I’m completely blown away!
Another masterpiece the weathering and panel lines look superb. Looking forward to your next video.

Great model!!!
I was pretty proud of my F-16. Til now.
Absolutly fantastic.
well done very well done! keep going like this!

What thinner to oil ratio do you use for the wash?
Incredible skill! Thanks for sharing! =)
when you apply the black wash, how long you have to wait in order to remove it? Thanks for the info!
David, everytime I watch your videos all I want to do is going home to build models...
Respeto la desicion de cada uno de como ensamblar su modelo, pero ese F16 de Tamiya no necesita accesorios
Por si solo el kit es PERFECTO 👌
Salúdos 👍
Looks cool
Hi, i'm new. Can you explain to me why you need gloss varnish (Mr Color Super Clear)? What does that do?
Thank you in advance.
Halleluja, that looks Awsome
That is beautiful!
Beautiful!!!😲👍👍👍
Very nice paint l like it.
You are really incredible
Hi I want to get into building model planes, where should I begin? Does it have to be as complicated as you have done? :)
Great work, when will see a A-10 from you?
When i put brackets in my description it says No brackets allowed! Why is this?
no idea
Gahlok12
Why the hell are you commenting if you have no idea?
Chin Chin The Dark Lord dude do you want me to troll or tell the truth?
Gahlok12
I want you to squirt chill sauce into his eyes to make him frightened and confused
Loved your model, but shouldn't have been the U.S. Air Force Hymn at the end? Just askin
Splendid!
Which thinner do you use for oil washes sorry for so so late comment
Amazing work)
I've been waiting for this
Great job do you own the new tamiya 1/48 F16?
Is the black oil wash oil paints thinned with white spirit?
Stupid me trying to follow along while being a beginner. You just teleported the fucking exhaust in the model without saying anything about the paint you used on it. I haven't bought the required paint and now I'm stuck with an uncomplete set of paints. Awesome. Thanks.
super clear III is laqueor, isn't it?
Can I use acrylic clear or it's very different?
Can you tell me the color details under the model? It's not like xf20
so beautiful! thanks

Péter Kisdi you can brush on the paint just fine, just make sure it's thinned to the consistency of milk and do it in 3-4 coats
Bom trabalho, como sempre....
Nice build, like always.....
nice falcon
have you ever made the quad gun tractor kit by tamiya? I'd love to see a video on that.
Just got this kit bad ass Bro
Hi! I understand you applied varnish after oil wash. What kind of varnish it was?
Thanks
