The car looks great, but to be honest, at 1:47 I don't understand why the pattern is configured to split. It does not look effective at all for where it is positioned :/
that split pattern is possibly the worst use of those corner strobes ever... why would you split a single color hideaway? thats just lazy on the installers part. everything else is awesome
The flash pattern for the white front strobes are horable idk why they didn't choose one where the whole light flashes at once like the red/blue ones. And I'll never why people want strobes that are a split color that look like they don't go off cause they flash so fast and don't alternate between each other.
I don't get why they added side lights in the back doors wouldn't that be the point to the lightbar on top? And in the state of Illinois patrol cars with lightbars can't have grills lights.for some reason, they can have strobes in the corners and deck lights but not grill or dash lights. Only cars with interior lightbars can have grill lights.
The SNGL2's in the side door help with side safety lighting in high traffic areas. Also, when the controller is set to position 1, the front of the Code 3 Light-bar is off included the front corners. The GL2's help make up for the Corners when the Interceptor is parked.
The sedan is such a nice looking car. At 5:30, why does that one blue module on the lightbar look like something is wrong with it? The one adjacent to the corner light.
+goigle The Blue Module is Steady-burning as well as flashing. The Light-bar was internally customized to glow and flash the Module softly. The idea with this is at night, the steady glow with the Flash helps profile the car and it's distance.
I had a question that I was hoping you could help me with. I purchased a 2016 police interceptor which has been made back to a civilian vehicle, and the phone feature of the sync radio phone feature doesnt seem to work. All of the other features on the radio work. I was told that some features may be turned off for police use, but i would love to know how to turn it back on. I cannot pair my phone or anything.
Been through this, it needs a new module, and new input ports. The radio module was, let’s say, derated, for fleet use, omitting connectivity, and the aux and usb inputs went through the centre console as opposed to the panel next to upper passenger glovebox, as it is on the civilian models. To my knowledge, the radio module should still have physical inputs on it, but new wire and input has to be laid. For Bluetooth and satellite radio connectivity, the whole module must be replaced (while you’re there, re lay the audio inputs)
Ahh. I have seen a couple with LEDs. I didn't realize that there was a choice. I just heard that Ford was reverting back to the standard high beams without the shutters so that a traditional style headlight flasher could be used.
+Blaine Bugaski For the 2016 Utility Interceptor, Ford is using a halogen High-beam again, so a Flasher Module can once again be added. The 2017 Sedan may see the same update. We'll have to wait and see.

Even in split colors that patten is horrible it's made for dashlights or lightbars not a small dinky strobe bulb. 😜

With it being through the Sync system, we'd suggest contacting our local Ford dealership & there service department regarding programming.

Did Ford only re-instate the traditional high beams into their Utility and not the Sedan?
It is a factory option that no every department chooses. It uses a dual purpose LED for the turn signal and flasher. This vehicle does not have it.
