"Don't try to stop me." Mestral is far larger, and younger than the other Vulcan male. And T'Mir knows he is definitely motivated. Emotionally motivated. One does not interfere with such a Vulcan.
Can be compassion, sure. Can be affinity, affiliation, comaraderie, etc.. Familiarity with the people you work with. That kind of thing too. Knowing that you have the ability to do something to save others from misery. The obverse would be cruelty, which is also an emotion.
Is it always an emotion? I don’t think so. Mercy can be an act of “logic”… as can be “ruthlessness”. What are logic and emotion? What is Pride? That does involve emotions and Vulcans can be very proud creatures, whether they admit it or not. Pride or hubris can be extremely dangerous- if you overcome all other emotion but fail at this then you haven’t gotten as far as you think you have.
I enjoyed what Enterprise I watched at the time. Most of them I thought. But I missed these episodes. Maybe I should stream this entire show like I did with DS9. To fill in the gaps in my knowledge. When they put in Worf to pump up the volume on DS9 I got discouraged and was being distracted by Babylon 5 which I really enjoyed all the way through. Hmmm.

And as he is also 'One' resistance would be futile ....
Another good flick, from a great series.
He played the future tech Borg in Voyager - "ONE." A hero in both.
"Command and compassion is a fool's mixture." - Lt. Cmdr. Gary Mitchell
"power without compassion is the worst kind of evil there is" -E.J. Patten

Still one of my favourite episodes.
Compassion is what all creatures need . humans need it most . 😊

Good thing the lady vulcan had some sort of gps with her. :)

Even when they try to hide in the 20th century US, Vulcans still do the most logical thing and use the metrical system.
This is what happens when you hang with Humans your judgement gets clouded and it's why I have nothing to do with them.
2:11 . . _Oh Shiiii_ . . imagine the makeup snex with an angry T'pol.
My nerves are pinching themselves just thinking about it.
