    Loved your video and just subbed! They are all great picks. The thing that impresses me most about Jim Palmer is that he won 20 games 8 out of 9 years in the 70’s. That is so impressive as well as his low career ERA! Players I’m targeting that I feel are undervalued are Frank Robinson, Warren Spahn, and Carl Yastrzemski.

    Hi , looooong time vintage collector here.
    While I 100% agree with your sentiment that’s these players cards are undervalued in comparison to their efforts on the field…. this is not new knowledge. I’ve known for 50 + years that those cards lag way behind the upper echelon players. THATS NOT GOING TO CHANGE!!! So has the whole vintage collecting community. But that’s were they are and where they’ve been for 50 years. So all of a sudden in 2022 value is going to go up beyond their 50 year trend? Nope. I agree these are great players for the new to vintage to collect, but they will not accelerate in value beyond what value the hobby has recognized for decades.
    You want growth? Mantle, Ruth, Cobb, Gehrig, Robinson, Mays. Period.
    @bluejacket 66 for knowledge

      I appreciate that ! Really just trying to give collectors some ideas to think about . I really do feel like Stan Musial and yogi will see a larger uptick as more and more newer collectors get into vintage. It’s getting hard to buy Ruth’s and mantles right now at reasonable prices. Thank you for watching and I hope you continue to check out my stuff! I love getting feedback on my videos as this is all fairly new to me 🙏

      Exactly correct. I'd add Wagner to the list but agree completely that its basically been the same for the past 40 years. The only player to break into that top tier is Jackie Robinson. Back in the 80's/early 90's he was popular but not overly popular. The guy on the list whose cards are a bit "soft" is Gehrig. Johnson and Mathewson are close to this tier but just a bit below the others.
      Stay away from Kaline. His cards have always been tough to move. Same for Musial. The people that want their cards already have them.

    Really enjoyed the video, Jason-first time seeing your content, and I like the perspectives you’re offering 😀 I agree about tris speaker! And it’s not like a lot of his cards are floating around out there. The other four...sensational players, but they will always lag behind the big names, unfortunately. The 49 Berra is still a steal-and it’s very eye appealing. The player I’d say is top tier but still approachable is Clemente. Legendary player with great accomplishments and a unique though tragic baseball story.

    Good video. You forgot to mention that Al Kaline was also a 18× allstar, a 10x gold glove, and the youngest batting champ at just 20-years-old. I'm currently on a strict budget, so Im branching out further past mainstream rookies and going for even memorabilia photos. Recently picked up a 1953 Detroit Tigers team press photo with Kalines first team appearance for just under 40.00!!
