Great video Ash! I watched it all. Away from home and my pc. So just the Raid my man. This has been a long time coming and I want you to know that I appreciate how you represent yourself Ash! All your help with Raid which btw you've always been. I'm short, I like the cut of your jib sir. I have a feeling you're probably on the U.S. east coast, where I'm on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, but, if you were around, I'd buy ya a beer hear and hear some more about the stuff you share in your videos from time to time. I got this guy fairly early and i freaking love him. His stun really helps on waves and his single target gives a bit of a safety net with the revive and massive hit.

I appreciate the content you have put out over the years and still one of the few people that can get me excited about Raid. With that being said, I want to have a bit of a soap box moment because maybe you can shed some light on a different perspective or offer tips on how to be more efficient or even... since you have ability to have open dialogue where the majority of us do not, be a voice with Plarium for those of us that enjoy the game but cant constantly throw money at it.
Two main pain points I feel is shared among the vast majority of Raid's player base is first, the Events being designed solely to price gauge us when they should be structured to reward activity (For a baseline, another VERY similar game that Raid has already taken a lot of inspiration from, Summoners War. Those events are very frequent and all you ever have to do is just... PLAY and youll 100% an event making it a fulfilling experience that will keep players coming back for more).
Finally, Energy cost... For reference, I have the Raid Card and I always have the daily Gem drop pack but thats virtually all the money I spend on Raid. On my current account I cant even produce enough energy even with free drops, activity rewards, my arena dailies, and advanced quest rewards to even use all of my Multi Battles I'm only on Dragon 18 at the moment but if I remember correctly, that energy cost gets up to like 25 energy per run (could be wrong, its been a while since I saw lvl 25), at 130 energy cap theres not even enough free refills to complete half my multis each day. This just makes the system feel very greedy and rigged against players that genuinely cannot afford to spend a lot of money on a mobile game and even shafts those of us that ARENT afraid of at least spending some money which I think is the majority of the Raid base. The majority of their profits are likely come from those of us that spend $20-$30 a month so I dont know why they would design everything to kinda punish us for not spending more from the way it feels. A simple rebalance to the energy cost or energy refill seems like it would be the best option in my opinion but there is always the possibility there is something I do not know that could also help.
I know youre a busy guy but you always have good insights so I genuinely hope you see this and hope to hear your feedback.

Hey Ash, not a Doc but have some medical training (EMT) and personal experience with the cold thing. Every year, I would get the sore throat, lose my voice etc. Right near my birthday; like clockwork. Then, I had my tonsils and adenoids out...No more annual cold thing... Ask your doc..Most of us don't need our adenoids once we are out of our teenage years. They shrink over time and get smaller...
On point, I got Astralon last month and just finished building him. I agree, he's a beast. Try playing him with his buddy Countess Lix. Really nice, she attacks along with his A1.
Oh yea Ash, we are here for the whole video - And I've been really into the Switch with my kiddo lately. She's just turned 5, so right around your boy's age (Also a New England girl!) and even tho she isn't good hah, she loves playing Mario Kart with me. I turn on the auto drive for her, and it lets me pound through the races and try to 3 star everything, while we get quality time together. We also started kicking it a little more old school (Not MY old school, I grew up on NES) and I busted out my Wii and we started playing Wii sports and she LOVES it! Couldnt get enough of the boxing. And shes a decent bowler, getting like 110-120 scores. Keep up the great content my dude. You put a smile on my face every day. World needs more Ashes, less asses! (Figuratively of course. Everyone loves a good booty.)

Happy to be a true friend/follower/fan! Leggo books are so hard to come by that I never booked him so he isn't that great on my account but I've been so impressed with his anti-dutchess abilities and he definitely came through on an arena fight (or ten) against her. He also carried my sacred order FW team for about a year.

I pulled astralon just after his fusion, then I was a weekend whale and pulled the "guarantee" after 120 ancients for countess lix so I got and leveled them up early. As a team, there is no comparison. They paired together without anyone else plowed the road . Every dungeon (except ice golem), campaign, doom tower waves (normal) they were unstoppable...

Just pulled him today as my FIRST legendary on my 2nd F2P account (started it the DAY AFTER the Ronda login promo ended). So glad to see this video on him!
Astralon looks great, but I could never make the switch over from Hephraak. Hephraak will go straight into an increase defense duchess or Siphi at full health and delete them. It almost doesn’t feel right, so many great nukers out there
"Astralon" was my arena nucker for almost a year and a half.. only after getting "Hephraak" then I switched gears.. "Astralon" now is builded as a CC champ.. with a lot of ACC especially for DoomTower hard waves..
My arena team was exactly like the one you're running now.. "Kymar", "Madame", "Arbiter" and the red winged warrior..

I had vocal chord damage due to surgery in January, so I totally get losing the ability to speak. Haven't been able to well for most of this year. Working on a fix to get most of it back at least. But warm liquids like tea with honey or soup can help the throat a bit. Glad you got yours back.

I actually pulled Astralon about a week and a half ago. I didn't think at first he was that great until I saw his AOE stun
I pulled a 6s soul for him early on after soul system was introduced from a mortal soulstone. At the time, he was in the vault at 50 ascended and mostly nekkid. I debated selling that soul for a long time, but ultimately decided against it and now he's my main nuker against Duchess or any spirit heavy team in classic and he's in one of my tag comps. Also lays down some hate in mino and FW with Soul Reap on him. Not many Duchesses survive his A3, and those that do don't survive his A2. He basically gets used anywhere that Candy might not work due to stupid spirit affinity. Genbo for Scrown and Leo.
ETA: I'm mostly playing OW2 with buddies besides Raid.

I start to use Astralon as my main nuker after i fuse him, and now he still is on my main arena team because of reaction accessory and swift parry sets. my team is
Arbiter 320 - for increase attack and speed aura
Lady Kimi 378 - for increase accuracy and boost turn meter
Lydia 265 - for decrease defense and weaken + block revive
Astralon 255 - for nuke and stun
How on earth do you have those numbers that high? And are you referring to speed? Or accuracy?

As one of the three true fans/followers/friends, I’m also playing State of Survival and Warhammer: Chaos and Conquest. But I do my daily stuff on those and then spend the rest of my gaming time on Raid

I actually have the champs you used for the arena showcase. Time to build Astralon and try and get to that 300~ speed.
Astralon is my 2nd main nuker. Yakarl goes first with the AOE freeze nuke and if that doesn't work freeze or kill the enemy Astralon comes with his AOE stun nuke which finishes the job.
I am using Arbiter - Madame Serris - Astralon - Hurndig as my arena team (MS + A are spd optimized). Focussed more on the stun part on Astralon than the dmg part which gives me the opportunity to build Hurndig pretty slow and focus on his dmg. If I encounter someone having an Unkillable or something or just someone who might gain turn meter too quickly I can use Hurndig's A3 to fully deplete turn meter which triggers the AoE secondary hit and then use his full nukeage skill second.
Astralon's kit is so cool because besides the obvious stun and nukage he got some other little tricks in it that can come pretty handy. For example he removes buffs from enemies under Veil and Perfect Veil and if he does that puts a weaken on them. Teams built around Duchess or Rector Drath are a feast for him. Also if ever I get into the defensive position and Hurndig dies (sometimes 2 times in a row) I still got the chance to turn it around as he can revive him with his A2. This can make sense strategically if Arbiter's revive is used up already or if I want to keep it for the next round as I can already see that 2 or 3 champs will go down from enemy nukeage. Especially back in the days when my Arbiter was fast but still got beaten in like 10-20% of the spd races this was super cool.
Been using Astralon years ago and he is fantastic. His Stun is reliable & great against Duchess. I do wish Stun cooldown is 3 turn instead of 4 bc it's critical for DT hard.

Vis-a-vis other games, I just finished Dad of War: Ragnarok, which was great, and I've been loving Eternal Evolution on mobile.
I have two. Pulled my second this weekend on the Staltus guaranteed. 3v3 is about to go crazy! Candy+Magnarr, Astalon + Lix, Astralon +Staltus teams.
I actually have 2 Astralon & 3 Countess Lix. Have 1 of each built & debated building them all. Wish I had access to the test server to play around instead of wasting resources. Something to think about, Countess Lix's skill cooldown ability does work on other / dupe Countess Lix on the same team

One of the final 3 still watching! My other game I'm playing is Genshin Impact. Gotcha free-to-play, but just so much more than most mobile games, even Raid. It's more like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with team mechanics, and multiplayer and of course gotcha draws where you never get the characters you want.
Astralon was my main nuker, paired with Lix, until Heprhaak apeared in my life
Astralon was my first fusion when I joined the game, whaled out and got him, been my arena nuker since
I got Astralon a few months ago, never did his fusion. Maxed him for Dark Fae but I love his kit and wish I had Lix.

I have him on my baby F2P account. He's my big gun in the arena for sure. Team is Deacon, Seris, Ninja for the freeeze, Astralon. In that order. I don't have the gear to make him hit for 100K, but he does 30 - 40 pretty reliably.
I didn't fuse him either, but I've pulled 4 of them, lol. I use mine in arena and dungeons. Great for nuking and cc plus a revive if an enemy is killed by his A2. Straight Beast
Zavia was one of the first legendaries I ever pulled. It's killing me not having Belanor
I was once googling for Genbo and I forgot the name and wrote Jimbo. Google recognized him juuust fine.
Pulled Astralon within the first 2 months, been an absolute carry.
My main team in arena is arbiter into deacon into astralon with Genbo mopping up any unkillables
I run Astralon in tandem with Trunda. 1st Arbiter and 2nd Deacon then Astralon and Trunda cleans up! :)

I use him in my team with lydia hedgemon and arbiter. I used Countess with him and the debuff removal is clutch.

i built a stone skin astralon with no speed,his passive is just crazy boosting his turn meter like he got 200 speed
I used Astralon for a very long time, ever since I got him from his event. That said, I recently just replaced him with Ragash and Ragash is a bit better - so if you think Astralon is good, try Ragash. Ragash will also kind of allow you to replace Serris with someone else because Ragash will put up the decrease defense before he attacks. Also, Ragash is a defense-based champion which allows him to stay alive if your opponents get a turn AND will help keep one other ally stay alive through his Perfect Veil passive.
I pulled him about a month ago and hes my nuker for my second tag team arena. His damage is nuts

I have been playing a lot of competitive pro am on nba 2k23. Last year i was part of the 17th best pro am team in the game. Also a lot of the new call of duty as well.
Astralon was my first legendary I pulled... I run him with Genbo, Madame Serris, UDK for my arena team, I'm not full powered yet tho

Of you freeze foli's whole team and put someone like vogoth in the team. Astrolon is both control and damage foli is just damage which is kinda powercrept rn. If you need to use foli 's passive you are probably dead
The only issue with foli is that he’s not as meta with stoneskin and protected shields, he just can’t hit through the new stuff, as an owner of a foli😅

Been using Astralon as a nuker since he came out. Got him +2. Though, he's not used as much since I got Trunda :-]
I've been playing divinity original sin 2 with my college friends, its a fun PC game.
Astralon is a beast, but to answer your question been playing a lot of master duel while raid farms in the background big dark magician user mixed with some meta stuff
