- In this episode we've been invited to a pop up by Mama Vee's eats and La fusion both located in South Philadelphia 11th and washington ave on the top plaza! Mama Vee specializes in Lao/ Khmer cuisine and made several dishes for us to try. Papaya Salad, Steak and prahok, Salaw Koko, Beef Lap and sour mango with dipping sauce. La Fusion provided the space and specializes in Sushi, cocktails and drunken noodles. Each dish was super delicious and flavorful. Southeast asian cuisine is so rare to find in the area so I highly recommend you trying Mama Vee's food since I think it's the best in the area.

Lil Cambodia is in Lowell, Ma. Plenty of Khmer food there. A few Vietnamese and Laotian spots in and around the area. But you’ll find lots of other food in the NE area as well.
