Brilliant video 🙂 Have you got another links as it says unavailavle - at least here in the UK, I must have these especially as you explained it all so perfectly?
@@JedhaPatrol Yup, but thanks for letting me know that that's the only one that does that. I hadn't tried it on anything else. I thought it was my adapter and that all of my bases and accessories would be like that. Good to know that's not the case.👍😊
I'm using a similar product for my Jazzinc Justice mobile because who wants to keep lifting and flipping that heavy vehicle just to switch the lights on. It works AWESOME! I didn't now about the 5 adapter model though, that's very cool! Thanks for the tip.
Haha Justin won't agree with you about those looking better with the light-up function!😄 Fantastic! All we need now is a watch battery (as in the figures themselves) magic wireless version and we'll be set!
I noticed when I first got that Anakin base that if left on for an extended period of time the lights automatically turn off. The first time I thought the batteries had burned out, until I flipped the switch off and back on and the lights came back on. I suspect there is some kind of sensor/circuit breaker that activates the power switch, probably to keep the lights from overheating. So you have to turn the switch back on. That external switch is probably doing the same thing. Its a shame, because having to take the figure off and flip the base over to turn it on/off is annoying and a design flaw.
Its great!!! This works better if you have most of your collection together or like you said approx 6ft. But awesome stuff, I might even buy singles.thanks
THAT IS AWESOME! I will definitely get one for my Vader. Hopefully maybe there is something out there for those little batteries. Vader's (40th) light set is a pain!!
@@JedhaPatrol Hi I did find something, it's called a, "Soap Studio Reactor." It works similar to the system you showed but it works for the button batteries. www.soapstudio.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=472 There is another one I found called "Fusion Reactor," it's a custom made system so you would need to dm the guy. However, it looks like the guy makes them specific to certain figures based on their battery needs. instagram.com/fusion_reactors?igshid=av0p5l4jse1n Thank you for keying me into this stuff. It looks like I have a project in the future. :)
The “battery replacement “ with the ribbon is meant to have the other 2 batteries be placed on top of the ribbon so when you remove them all you have to do is pull the ribbon up and they all come out. Also Obi-Wan never rode on the droid he was on a much larger floating platform.
I think that could work for the infinity war hulkbuster, I'm gonna try the single pack but in another brand that is cheaper, thanks for the tip!!!... that's the same principle they use for the soap rectors, there must be a way to make that smaller to work with the figures.
That happens to me too but in México, fortunately I found a similar single pack in amazon mex, but you can find the single pack of that brand in Amazon US.
Hell yeah! Great tip man. @jedhapatrol Can you test this out on your sideshow Han Solo in Carbonite? Think it would be awesome to have that light up on demand.
@@mattr8807 It didn't work. Did you watch the whole vid? The whole point was that this lets you turn everything on in one go, but as Ryan said the Anakin base has issues and didn't come on like all the others, you had to turn it off then on again.
Also decided to join your Patreon. I think I have used your tips and truly enjoyed your videos since the Funko Pop days and it’s time to show my appreciation for what you do. Keep up the good work.
Unfortunately this isn’t available in the uk but love your videos Ryan, you’re killing it, by far the best out there in my opinion. Keep doing your thing dude 😎
Thanks for this hack. I plan to buy a couple sets (even though, with shipping they're $34 a set instead of the $20 mentioned in the video). Still, an easy purchase IMO.
Will be saving this for when I finally get a new display. One day
Glad I could help
Shout out to the Pitch Meeting videos!
yeah yeah yeah
Brilliant video 🙂 Have you got another links as it says unavailavle - at least here in the UK, I must have these especially as you explained it all so perfectly?
On the Anakin base: have you tried putting the "battery" with the ribbon into a different spot?
yup, doesn't make a difference
Yeah I have a single one on my Anakin base. Same thing on mine
Multiple batteries AAA and AA to USB are a available from Aliexpress for a few dollars a piece. Using for my 1/4 scale Infinity and Nano Gauntlets.
That’s awesome!
Where? I cant find them anywhere, including Aliexpress?
Yo! Thanks for sharing! This help a ton!!! Thanks Bruh!
Happy to help!
Does this keep the displays always turned on? Is it like a bypass to a wall plug or just a switch that turns on until the battery runs out?
always on unless you hit the switch
@@JedhaPatrol thanks now I gotta find me some on amazon.ca
Is sideshow freaks the only SW HT collectible forum? I know there’s Facebook but I mean message boards. Maybe there’s a Reddit or Discord group?
Great idea, can't find them in the UK though :(
Haha, I thought that thing fix the anakin base issue. But fusion did. By the way! Thanks for mention Fusion reactors
I have an adapter for the dark side Anakin base and I have the same problem with the light switch.😔😒
bummer

Raz Imports have been making these for a while too. I use them to light up the hall of armor.

@@JedhaPatrol does that mean I missed it or it's coming??

Very impressive
Bummer that anakin base doesnt work... pretty sure that you can take the switch out of the base by extending the cords for easier use
If I figure it out, I’ll definitely be sharing
@@JedhaPatrol If you do that, you’ll definitely be my hero
Awesome product, thanks for the share to both you and Shane

Getting for my phone booth light fixure..

try again, there are plenty of different manufacturers of these on Amazon

Would have to go with something in stock. Mk7 is always a safe bet if you like that more mechanical style. Mk85 for newer nanotech
