This was a crisp Monday morning in February of 2023. Reel Feel temp was 45 degrees. Super smooth ride on the fully capable TREK FX Sport 6 Gravel Bike. Such a fun cycle to maneuver through all the different terrains covered on this day.
Thank you for watching as I enjoyed creating this for you!!
#goprohero8 captured the Audio and Video. #garminedge for ride info.

Best vid I've seen of someone actually riding their Trek FX.

I just picked up the FX sport 5. I think I'm going to love this bike and your video sums up the kind of riding perfectly that this bike is capable of. Thanks for your sharing!
Great ride! Love it! ☺
What a bike! Just picked up a Trek Verve 1 after 40 bikeless years and I'm loving it, but now I have bike fever and I'm looking at my next one. The FX Sport 6 may fit the bill.
Great video!
Thanks, they do get addicting! This bike is fun.
Great riding video, thanks!
please make more videos like this one. ❤🥰😎
👌
Thx for sharing. I'm seriously thinking of getting the same model.
I did.
Sick bike and sick riding.
Thank you!
I think these high end hybrid bikes are cooler than gravel bikes. This is an awesome machine.
Agreed! A do it all and a comfy ride.
i'll change that bar on something much longer once i will get this bike, but the 6 is too expensive i'll go for the fx sport 4, nice bike dude
This video pretty much answered all my questions about this or a DS3G5. Currently riding a 2020 DS2 that leaves a lot to be desired in the drivetrain.
Quick and smooth! Enjoy
Great trail , I couldn’t finish it thou lol
I just purchased the Trek FX3 disc but I'm thinking I should've went for the FX sport 4 since I live right there by Colonial Park as well and feel the fx3 might not do well in gravel trails.
Do you think the FX4 sport is definitely a way softer ride and worth the upgrade?
@Miguel-ey5eg I think you have a good bike and you would be able to handle the terrain in this area no problem. I do think the sport models are a significant upgrade with the carbon frame. A rim and tire upgrade could make your FX3 feel a little smoother.
Awesome content! I just preferred this bike. Did yours come with GRX crank and Shimano brakes? I have seen some complaints online about some bikes coming with lesser components due to supply shortages. Many thanks!
Thanks!! I did not have the GRX cranks or Shimano brakes. The bike shop said they were going to swap the brakes because so many people were having problems with what was on them. I mentioned on the website the bike has GRX and they were willing to swap them to for me. I'm happy with the bike. I just need to upgrade the rear hub for more engagement.
Wayyyy better than a checkpoint!!!
My Checkpoint is fast, this bike is comfy but both a good ride!
@@kevincastellani4487 I bought this 2023 because I hate my 2022 checkpoint
@@CentralNH Oh no! Which Checkpoint do you have? I have the SL5 and love it. Looking at this as more of a chill bike.
@cd_rob yes exactly, this bike is for cruising.
@@kevincastellani4487if you are getting a bike for exercising and riding say 45 minutes or so to push yourself and fitness . Is checkpoint better or this fx sport ? Why so?
Nice ride... thank you for taking us along. I plan to buy the FX Sport 5.... as of now I only have a little more then 1/2 the coin. I just hope I can find 1 when it's time to buy!
Great ride and video. Thanks for sharing. What is the name of that bike bell?
Thanks! I purchased at a bike shop but I found a link. www.rei.com/product/171186/spurcycle-original-bike-bell-black?cm_mmc=aff_AL-_-40661-_-55097-_-NA&avad=55097_a30f878a1
@@kevincastellani4487 thank you.
Nice riding! What's your bike frame size in this FX sport 6?
Thanks! This is the large FX Sport 6 2022
What size bag do you have on the frame? I have been trying to figure out which ones mount with the hardware without the need for straps.
This is the 5L. I'm using only the back strap with some frame protection and I made a home made plastic spline for the top to prevent sag when using the top hardware. Pretty solid with tools and C02 in the back, enjoy!

Did you get all the listed components on the website?
No @vin, I went to a local Trek dealer with the bike to fit the proper bag. Was difficult to determine from the website.
Hi! How is the bike in climbing? Planning to get one
The bike is great but has its limitations. If you got the legs, you can climb anything!! Enjoy the FX
What is the bell that you are using?

If I wanted to do 40 to 50 mile rides on flat smooth pavement with this bike how is the comfort? And how is the top speed?
This bike is super smooth and comfortable. Something like the Checkpoint is faster, but the FX is not far behind.
@@kevincastellani4487 what year is this model ?
@JitinDoesStuff this is the 2022
is it fast enough?
Which frame bag is that ?
