What is the name of the tool you're using? Never done Pyrography before, but it looks like so much fun I want to get something good for my first time. I do other arts so don't think I'll get bored of this one.
i use " Brenn-Peter Junior " pyrographic burner, but there are many different brands, you can search for . And it's time-consuming technique, very unique and interesting :)

Thank you, yes no problem, i use Brenn-Peter Junior machine, and i mostly use 'flat spoon shader' tip.

I've getting more and more UA-cam comments that I can't reply to. I love replying to my subscribers. However, sometimes, it will not allow me to do so. This often leaves the people very confused, as if I'm ignoring them.There is a problem with the settings in Google+. It is on your end, not mine. So many of you don't even know this option is turned off, to fix this problem go to: 'GOOGLE+ --> SETTINGS --> who can comment on your public posts? select ANYONE'. and that's it.

, it cost somewhere around 90 euros. But I've heard many people have complained about temperature control problems with the tool.

Where can I buy the burning pen stuff that your using. sorry I'm new to this stuff but I would like to upgrade to something that makes precise lines and something that shades and this seems amazing.
Thank you Shelby, I'm using Brenn Peter Junior tool (German brand). But there are so many different brands to choose from, and for example, "Razertip" is one of the brands I would love to try.

No, I don't use the very best of kit... Technique, skill, patience & practice, that's what you need more. Of course, it's much easier if you have a great tool. :)

3-4 i think, i have loved drawing since childhood and gradually getting better and better.

First things first. I love your Native American art. I am a artist that has used many mediums. I am now just getting started with wood burning. Are you using the same temperature with different pressures or adjusting the temps. Where do you go for guidance and influence? Where do you get your wood and tools? Thank you and Happy holidays. I love your videos.
Thank you Bill. I am a self taught artist, i'm combining different temperatures and different speed. Low temp and slower motion gives you more control for soft shading, but it takes time, high temp gives you less control. You need to find 'sweet spot' in between, see what works best for you. Try different types of wood/plywood, from my experience i recommend you birch, poplar, basswood, maple... i buy supplies from my local hardware store or wood yards. Happy holidays.

I'm using 'Brenn-Peter Junior electronic' pyrography station and flat spoon shader tip ( you can see it here 4:54 ). That is great, if you have an fb account you can join a fb pyrography group and show your work there.

I like this one a lot however I thought it was too advanced for my skill level. I showed this video to my mom and ofcourse she encouraged me and felt as if I could do the Chief justice and so I figured what the hell why not...It took me about 6 hours and I gotta say I really surprised myself. I guess I'll post a little video and maybe you guys can tell me what you think.

Amazing Zoran. I do pyrography also, but have been using a dremel and i dont like the tips, so i want to switch to these woodburning tools, they are must easier to work with and i usually do portraits. Im wondering if you used the same tip for the whole portrait, or if you stopped filming to change tips. Thank you in advance for your answer. Nancy
Hello Nancy, thank you very much. Entire piece was done with same tip, i have few more, but that one is my favorite.

I plan on getting a heater that handles 2 pens at a time, Cant think of the proper name for it right now, as i just woke up and havent had breakfast yet, sigh. If you have a FB account you can visit my pyro page and message me for more info, it's much easier to explain everything with photos :) and there is a great Pyrography group with over 5000 members, and everyone is willing to help, you can ask anything related to pyrography, and post your work.
