I used to drive a Magirus big nose 6x4 with an engine like this. 320 hp IIRC. No turbos so it had to be revved uphill, provided you didn't miss a shift on the non-synchro gearbox. The combination of engine noise, cooling fan noise and gearbox whine made it sound glorious! 😁

@@magirusdeutzjupiter2234 I am a bit of a Maggie Deutz nut and used to sell them in the UK from ‘77-‘83. 👍😀 They were 14.7 Litre ! The last of the ‘UK’ models were V10 320HP. . These later models were 15.95 Litre.

@@magirusdeutzjupiter2234The vehicles were badged as ‘310’ but the output was usually 301 HP @ 2650 RPM. ( some were set at 290HP. )
