Sir, I noticed that around 4:29, the theermanam is brought at the side and not back like it shud be, what's the reason ?
@@swatiyadav640 in Mysore bani ,they don't do that adavu as we do in any other bani.
The adavu ends in side not in back.its a detail in Mysore bani.
Actually it's a unique step to use. .
In melattur bani they uses perani natyam.and there also unlike other bani the theermanam starts from back itself.

If Bharatanatyam was first done in a temple for the gods, I imagine the gods must be pleased. A more synchronized performance I have rarely seen. And beautiful shots with the camera!
Bharatanatyam was never performed for the gods but Sadirattam was. Unfortunately, By the time the term 'Bharatanatyam' came into existence it had already reached for kings and local patrons and to the general public. As Sadirattam the movements were much more subtle and a form of enchantment. So ofcourse gods would have been more than pleased !!
Bharatnatyam was taught by Shiva Himself for us Humanity ! Health wealth and Bakthi in the form of Dance !
Olden time dance called temple dance in front of God, by respected Devadasi females ,but Bharathanatyam first modernised and performed by late Smt. Rukminidevi Arundale in Tamilnadu. Lord Shiva father dance, like diff Thandavas.
Bharatnatyam was first done by bhagwan Shiv in the form of Nataraj.
We need more men dancers like these two in Bharatnatyam! Was a treat to watch this amazing performance by all three of them. Great job team! 🙌

The Chinese classical dance forms have a lot of similarities to Indian dance forms. Especially south Chinese dance forms have similarities to odissi.
Parshwanath - if people say you are the future of Bharatnatyam ... they are mistaken... you are already the best that there can be. You have already taken this dance form much beyond this age... Such flawless performance, Superb choreography, impeccable synchronization... dying to see you live again... in mumbai :)

Wow wow wow and more wow 🙏 Divine Dimensions where brought down by this dancers, the geometry of the divine made visual for human eyes to see and ears to listen. 🙏 A perfect synchronized choreography , the hastas matching with the lyrics at the right moments forming one unity ... For sure Sarasvatī was pouring her boons over them all the time. All my blessings to Parshwanath Upadhye , his wife and the new dancer Adithya (I see him here for the first time). I still remember when they danced with Harinie Jeevitha ... Now the dance has developed and enriched. Thank you very much for sharing. Dhanyavādah 🙏

Some films are giving wrong ideas to people that if a man does Indian classical dances they will be like ladies. Their walking... Etc... What nonsense. In that case how they are ready to do western... Here you can see the Gents' tandava bhava and the Lady's lasya bhava... Totally different. Otherwise also people are so curious to tarnish our culture... And to run after western culture..
