See, I wouldn't have expected much from Ignis other than a death glare or a harsh one liner, but I would have wanted to see the other two come to his defense a little more than they had. At this point in the game, Ardyn was virtually a stranger - and one that gave them the creeps, at that - and he sort of just made a pass at Prompto. As his friends, they _should have_ told him to back off. I mean, perhaps Noctis said something to him, but it did kind of look like Prompto was pleading to Gladio right afterward. I say it all the time - despite what a giant dickbag Ardyn is in general, I think I dislike him most for everything he did to Prompto, so this scene just adds to the pile.
Honestly would’ve been pretty interesting, especially since their all probably sleeping together in that caravan. Ardyn most likely had to share a bed with someone...

He has that kind of charismatic voice that you usually hear only in evil monologues. (Which this game thankfully doesn't have, praised be Square Enix). From the moment he first appeared, his voice gave it away. (aside from "oh no he's hot)
One thing I love about this little scene is the body language/animation of all the chocobros. Iggy’s watching Ardyn, cocking his head to the side, whilst swaying slightly. Gladio’s keeping his distance, he’s also in a “more defensive” position. Noct is, just, well, Noct. Prom’s obviously uncomfortable, back to Ardyn, closed off posture, leaning away from Ardyn. He keeps his head down most of the time, even when talking to Ardyn. He only looks up a few times to look at Ardyn when his back is turned away, but as soon as Ardyn turns back around Prom looks down immediately. But as soon as Ardyn does that creepy ass touch thing, Gladio stops moving for a second, then he looks at Noct. Kind of if he’s deciding on what to do, based off of what Noct does. Noct sits up, kind of asking “tf you doing to my one of my boyfriends?” Iggy stops moving, looks directly at Ardyn, then goes back to idly watching. Ardyn could have chosen anyone to kidnap, but he chose Prom. Prom talks with Ardyn the most out of the chocobros, in this scene. And Ardyn already had an idea that Prom didn’t like him, this scene just confirmed his theory. And he probably also picked up on the closeness of Prom and Noct. After the touch thing when Ardyn was turning away from them, I could see that Ardyn knew that if he was gonna kidnap someone, it would be Prom. Thanks for coming to my FFXV TED Talk.

Prompto's the group's sunshine and morale; always cracking jokes, supporting whoever needs it, and Ignis' seeing-eye human. Noctis' bff. The one person with whom he could interact with and not feel the weight of his responsibilities and royal obligations.

Ashema Bahumat I dead think about it but he had such an intense hatred for the Lucis Calem line that he couldn’t find it in them. I’m hoping that Square Enix provides a better idea of some of the other endings they promised to us so I could see what possibilities there are, despite a lot of the dlc being canceled

Ardyn subtly creeping on Prompto becomes MUCH creepier once you get to the train part of the game because he was purposely picking on the one he knew stood out the most, the rescued MT from Niflheim. Prompto appearing as the weaker link of the group served as the icing on top for Ardyn.
And to add to that, I think he deliberately picked Prompto because he's also Noctis' bff. Yeah Noct has Gladio, Ignis, and Luna but I always got the feeling that with Prompto he could truly loosen up and have his teenager moments and associates Prompto with fun and innocence. By messing with him, he's messing with he's not only trying to corrupt Prompto's perception but also permanently destroy the light-heartedness of the entire group, especially Noctis.
@@maxredjasper55 he was planning on kidnapping Iggy at first, but Ignis sacrificed his eyesight, the most important thing to him, to defeat him. So Ardyn had to go with the second best choice, Prompto Argentum

This might be a hated opinion but I think Ardyn is fantastic, he is so sassy and smart not to mention his dress sense in my opinion is great. I just like him 😆.

After watching Episode Ardyn I think that's EXACTLY what's going on. Prompto looks different from Verstael: hair styles and different builds since Verstael probably got 3 meals a day and all high quality whereas Prompto not so much. But they look similar enough to attract attention.
Hello fellow fantasizers, can one of you lovely bunches tell me in what order I should be playing the dlc post game? You would be my absolute best friend since it was too hard for square to do. Also, I don't even know what all dlc is even out there, thanks guys
If you've already beat the game it doesn't really matter what order you play them in. It's pretty obvious because they take place adjacent to where there are major changes to each character/where the characters depart the party. Currently there are 4 major pieces of DLC. In the game's timeline they would be: Episode Gladio, Episode Ignis, Episode Prompto, Comrades. (Comrades gets monotonous and requires time investment, whereas the episodes are shorter, so I'd recommend splitting it out). There are DLC episodes coming for Ardyn, Luna, and Noctis. There are some other small DLCs, extra weapons, fishing equipment, car decals, etc. If you know you want all of it it's a way better deal to buy the Season Pass.
Caelan Aegana episode noctis? Lmao this whole game (the base game) is practically episode noctis already. Its a alternative history episode with ardyn and noctis
How you said you were lvl 40 around here, in my second playthrough I'm trying to do all the quests and hunts I can before doing 'The Summit' main quest and I'm lvl 65 or so. I was near this lvl when I beat the game on my first playthrough 😂

After watching Episode Ardyn I think that's EXACTLY what's going on. Prompto looks different from Verstael: hair styles and different builds since Verstael probably got 3 meals a day and all high quality whereas Prompto not so much. But they look similar enough to attract attention.

Hello fellow fantasizers, can one of you lovely bunches tell me in what order I should be playing the dlc post game? You would be my absolute best friend since it was too hard for square to do. Also, I don't even know what all dlc is even out there, thanks guys
If you've already beat the game it doesn't really matter what order you play them in. It's pretty obvious because they take place adjacent to where there are major changes to each character/where the characters depart the party. Currently there are 4 major pieces of DLC. In the game's timeline they would be: Episode Gladio, Episode Ignis, Episode Prompto, Comrades. (Comrades gets monotonous and requires time investment, whereas the episodes are shorter, so I'd recommend splitting it out). There are DLC episodes coming for Ardyn, Luna, and Noctis. There are some other small DLCs, extra weapons, fishing equipment, car decals, etc. If you know you want all of it it's a way better deal to buy the Season Pass.

I've played this game twice and I never picked to tally the EXP up at this part, so I was very curious to watch this.
Ardyn fucked with the heads of Noctis, Prompto and Ignis... but never Gladio as far as I can tell.
How you said you were lvl 40 around here, in my second playthrough I'm trying to do all the quests and hunts I can before doing 'The Summit' main quest and I'm lvl 65 or so. I was near this lvl when I beat the game on my first playthrough 😂
