Depends on where you’re playing. If you’re playing milsim’s, than no, but if you’re playing these stupid CQB matches, where the shitty-ass music is playing non-stop, then yeah.
Why don't you do a simple Excel -list where you can tick away what you have already packed? You can also categorize it like "Camera gear", "Safety", "Clothing", "Guns + other stuff guns need".... This way you could also do a must have list so you have at least the minimum with you.
Hello Novritsch ! I have 2 tips for you. 1) Do a check list. I did the same for my laguage when I travel. You can use Microsoft Word Or Microsoft Excell. It's very easy and fast to do even if for those who don't know the programs. It's so handy, really. 2) In order to pack my gear/bb/gas/etc. faste,r and without loosing my head cause I have so many things like you, I drew my airsoft bag on a sheet, and also drew all the stuff I must pack in each place/pockets I have in my bag. I did 3 sheets, 1 for milsims, 1 for aeg playing and 1 for sniping. I never forgot anything since I did them. :) I may appear idiot, but it really helped me along all these years I've been playing airsoft. And it's so confy not to have to think every time you pack your stuff "I forget something... What am I forgetting? What am I forgettin. Goddammit ! What the fuck am I forgetting !" And, once on the field, "there, I know what I forgot... Shit !" Toooo laaaate duuuuude ! You're screeeeewed ! :D Milo
The_ MCRuler is your sniping definitely get steyr asg 69 p2 I got that for my first gun fell in love with it bought a tm vsr 10 upgraded it then bought the ssg24 novritsch
Obviously not. You should just learn to shoot from your other shoulder. I am left handed too and it took me less than two months to change. It's not hard.
*Murphy's Law:* If it can go wrong, it will. So, I always bring two of everything. Because something of mine will break, or somebody else will forget their entire Battle Harness. Right Novritsch ^.^
I had to buy a big SUV, so all my stuff will fit in it, my car trunk got too smal, or was it that my collection ot biggger. I take everything with me, so I can't forget, but I still do, I'm not like Nov, I keep most of what I have. Our friends come to me when they need something, my stuff aint the cheap junk they rent at the fields.
I do sport fencing and it is a similar amount of gear that I have to remember to bring to each training (although still less than airsoft) so I developed my own way of making sure I have everything. My technique is to go from head to toe thinking about every item I need consecutively. I start with the head and think, ok what's everything I need on my head, cap - check, safety goggles - check, mesh mask- check and you continue down until you reach the feet. Like this you should always be able to bring all that you need to wear. When I reach my hands I also recount everything I need to operate the gun so I don't forget the BB's or my battery. But I understand that with the amount of stuff someone like you has to pick you might still forget something anyway :D. But it has always worked for me so far.
As a Airsoft UA-camr I feel you on the whole packing my gear I always feel stressed out before I leave to play because I don't want to forget something!
The best way I've found to stay organized when getting ready to go play Airsoft is a few days before create a checklist on the notepad in my phone and have everything categorized. When I think I'm all packed up I will run through the checklist to make sure I got everything packed. I even use the same checklist for making sure I stay on schedule for making sure all my batteries (guns, cameras, flashlights, optics, helmet fan, radio, headset, etc.) are charged. It really helps out because I carry a lot of stuff to the field.
You used to not swear/curse as much but i fuckin love it. You IMO have grown up a shit load and it's still so inspiring. "Fucking Football"was my favorite bit of the whole episode. Keep it up
pro tip: keep bags packed and ready to go. I keep my maker bag filled with marker related things for paintball (barrel cleaning, marker, pods, etc) and then separate is a gear bag for padding and field specific clothes. I could put boots in there if I am not wearing them out the door. I know it is not ideal but having 3 or 4 bags to categorize all needs makes the difference. (3rd bag is always a food and water bag, and turns out it become the team cooler) (4th bag is the ammo/field bag: paintballs and air). Sure having a massive case to help downsize, thus makes traveling very easy yet subdividing for prepping is why I came up with this system. The other option is carry only what you need. My friend still has a mini shopping bag for his padding and mini accessories yet he doesnt get too involved with the 'what if' categories (marker dies on him, he would have to rent).
Novritsch, for your organization problems I would recommend PCCs and PRIs. (Precombat checks and inspections) the are used by most militaries to make sure all required equipment is functional and accounted for. Think of it as a pre-flight checklist for combat. Just construct a checklist on Microsoft excel for PCI (inspection) to Check your batteries, rifle components, etc. , and a PCC (Checks) to make sure you don't forget anything. Good luck. I hope this suggestion will help you in the future.
+novritsch If anyone is curious the mag pouch he found for the ssg mag is the fryye industries iCOMM pouch. It could probably also be modified to remove the Velcro and put a couple strong magnets on it to close so it's quieter.
I know this is likely because of your accent Novritsch but it is not said "sewd". Its said like "sohwd"or "soed". In the same way you would say "node".
Reminds me a lot of when I played american football and we had our away games that were like +6h by buss. All the gear we had to pack... We needed all the protection gear to play, all the clothes, a sleeping bag and a mattress etc... Took me a couple hours of packing to get done as well. I found that the easiest way was to group the things according to what I need. For example the sleeping bag, mattress and extra clothes, towel and showering items in a bag. Things I need during the game in a separate bag. Thats pretty much what I do for airsoft now (even though I dont have a lot of equipment). I put food, water, BBs and gas in one bag and then the actual guns, protective gear and clothes in another. So basically things I need/could use in the safe zone in a bag and the gear that I need for playing in another.
When I used to do triathlons, it was always a packing nightmare in case I forgot something crucial ( almost about as much as you need). Best way around I found around it was creating a checklist. That way I never forgot another item again.
Juan a tip to all who have gear organization problems, My team and I have designated bags which we carry the core essentials of just our airsoft attire. That combined with all of our gun cases makes it quite reliable. Just remember to keep your bag with you; and when you shed do It into your magical airsoft sack.
great video! something i do so that i never forget any gear is that i have a a list of everything i need when i'm going and i just lay out all my gear and check it off. Hope that helps you because i know it did me! keep it up :)
Best way to organize gear is type out everything you bring to your airsoft games and print it out and always keep that paper at hand when packing. Also I make a second paper for all the extra or new stuff I need to bring before I start packing
I run the condor battle belt a H harness as well. My tip for you is to put a front strap (where your sternum is) to keep the 2 shoulder straps from falling off your shoulders when your running. other then that it's a nice set up.
When I was a Marine I had a check list of ALL the items I needed to pack when I went on operations. It was a generic list and then I would add all things mission specific. Made life easy
Never played airsoft, but about the organising part. What about making a list? Where you have all the things written down so you can just check them off as you put them in the bag, and have the list made on beforehand and add things as you think of things you'll need. :)
7:30 once i forgot something super important, i was gonna do some tech work on my gun in the morning when i got to the site because i couldn't do it the day before. i bagged up all my pars separate from my externals the night beofre. when i arrived, i got everything out and... I hadn't brought any of the internals of my aeg!!!
I always find the easiest way to pack for your next game is to sort everything out as soon as you have finished a game. Doing it this way round means you already have everything together as you have just used it. You then only need to remember things like charging batteries and then your gear is ready to go.
Nov. I was the one who sent you the grenade pouch. I gotta admit, I just bought it online and asked a friend to engrave your name in it. Keep up the good work!
NOVRITSCH, you could make a checklist of the equipment you need for all your games, and tick the boxes in pencil so you can re-use the same checklist many times
Have you considered making a check list for all the gear you need? I would suggest making a list at least for your most important gear. Any way keep being awesome!
You should try to make a list that can be attached to your bag. Make it so you can check off what you have put in the bag so then you can see what your missing. That's what i have been doing for the last 4 years and it really works. I also have a list that i write down what needs replaced and what needs fixed. This might sound stupid, but it works for me. Also I need help with a good scope cam for around $150 any advise would be appreciated. You're the best NOVRITSCH!
hey novritsch great vid but what i do for paintballing is have checklist on the wall that as i put stuff in my bag i can tick it off the list for convenience and speed of preparation
What kind of shoes would you recommend? In Holland we have a lot of water (ditches and so on) so you will get wet whatever the footwear, but it's always a difficult choice. Sneakers drain a little quicker but are difficult to clean and offer little protection. Boots are easier to clean and protect and support better, but stay wet forever. What would you recommend?
Hello NOVRITSCH. I don't know if you are very familiar with the safety precautions/rules of keeping and storing LiPo batteries, but I wanted to tell you to make sure that you maintain the voltage of your Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries. I have over 20+ different LiPo batteries for my RC stuff, and I have had a few LiPo packs puff up in the past. So in order to keep them from going puff (bad), I have to give a storage charge to each of the battery packs that I am not using frequently. If you have a good quality charger for your LiPo packs, it should have a storage charge feature. Also, if you store the battery packs at full charge and you don't use them for more than a month, they can puff up like a balloon and it is not safe to use or recharge them in that condition. They have also been known to instantaneously combust, and burst into flames causing people's houses to burn down. That usually only occurs during the charging process if they are charging on the wrong settings. Just for the safety of you, your house, your airsoft guns, and all your other important stuff; PLEASE MAINTAIN THE VOLTAGE AND PHYSICAL CONDITION OF YOUR LiPo BATTERIES! NEVER ALLOW THE CELLS OF YOUR LiPo PACKS TO GET PUNCTURED OR DENTED. I would also suggest that you store your LiPo packs in some kind of metal container like an ammunition case and away from any flammable objects/surfaces.
Thumbs up for condor battlebelt + harness,i'm using it for both combat & recon missions and i am very satisfied with it,most things on it are from condor & tasmanian tiger.
I use the condor battle belt and they are a good belt only thing I would recommend is if you are using the condor h harness if your gear is heavy I would stich the straps. I found they would loosen after I used them some days they would be ok but sometimes my pistol would be below my knees hahaha
NOVRITSCH I’m a huge fan I started watching you many years ago I love your gameplay videos so much soon will send you some stuff but it has to get through customs because I’m from South Africa ( Johannesburg) my birth day is on the 25th of April and I can’t wait I’ve asked my parents so badly I’ve convinced them they said yes and I’ve saved a bit of money to buy your ssp-1 pistol hopefully I can be one of the people who gets one because on you website it said it will restock in April keep up the good work stay cool and pls tell Sniper Badi Fabi i love him also and he must keep the good work up as well and I will always watch you because you make me laugh so hard and you are so skilled in airsoft mainly because of your sniping training in the army my name is Valentino I am turning 12 years old I love snipers and especially the airsoft ssg-24 I love your patch wall it’s so cool and you give us viewers lots of advise when your playing thank you I will always be a fan of you and Fabi and you guys both are very talented you have a great thing going on and you are the best airsoft sniper who does gameplay videos as well as Fabi but then theirs Silo who goes all over the show and your very creative thank you .
hey novritsch deine videos sind echt nice ich find das immer witzig wenn du englisch redest und man dann soo deinen deutschen aktzent raushört was ja nicht schlimm ist ;) mach weiter so
Make a checklist that's what I did when I played paintball. I'm currently trying to get into airsoft but I have to get back into shape first. But yea when you get the information for the event make a check list of everything you will need. Do this early then the next day go back to it and if you remember anything else you need write it down. Then the day before you actually get ready to go go over the checklist a third time. Then on the day your getting ready to go you can just get the things you have on the list and you can be pretty sure you will have everything. The three days of checklist for me only takes like 20 mins each day then the day of preparation goes by much faster as well. That's how it is for me at least.
I used to play American football which also includes a lot of gear and my old coach always told me "start packing from your shoes up to your head" that helped me a lot haha
Bahahaha I know the feeling... drove four hours for an archery tournament one day, and when i got there found I had left my sight mounting bracket on another bow at home that I was trialling at the time. Luckily by the time I was flying to tournaments I'd figured a military type system to make sure everything was in my bow case before heading to the airport. This system worked well until Air New Zealand broke my flight case anyway!
Maybe you can make a checklist for all your gear, that might help a bit. I usually do it when I go camping or backpacking and it works good but usually when I don’t I forget something like a mess kit when I’m going to eat something like mashed potato’s
Might be helpful to get a list made on your phone that you can check off so you don't forget stuff so much. I also find it helpful to keep a lot of my gear already packed so it doesn't get so disorganized.

You should make a check off list. That's the way to go.
yes agreed
I did, after a friend of me left all his batteries home at the charger xD
Novritsch, that's a 3DSoft grenade holder you have there ! You should check them, they have lots of nice stuff !

How many julias do you keep as slaves working in your sweat shop factory?
Taiwan is not China,..
Artur Pelicho well it technically is China, depending on who you ask.
There is a diference between the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China :)
Mainly in production quality and how much people earn.
Artur Pelicho Did you mean to type Republic like that?
I speak several languages, sometimes I mix them up ! Republic indeed :)
The honesty in this video about gear is very recognizable. I like the funny self reflection in this video!

Dam boy I like how you expressed your self in the video. Lol makes me laughs all the time lol keep it up man
Hello NOVRITSCH.
Your airsoft equipment is amazing!
Thumbs up for condor battlebelt + harness,i'm using it for both combat & recon missions and i am very satisfied with it,most things on it are from condor & tasmanian tiger.
hope u keep uploading don't stop and keep up the work
novritsch you should make a checklist so you'll never forget anything again
I usually have a checklist when I go airsofting. So I don't foul up my day with forgetting stuffs.
I use the condor battle belt and they are a good belt only thing I would recommend is if you are using the condor h harness if your gear is heavy I would stich the straps. I found they would loosen after I used them some days they would be ok but sometimes my pistol would be below my knees hahaha
I love this video, so fricking funny haha😂

This system worked well until Air New Zealand broke my flight case anyway!
love your videos! I'm just wondering Will you ever paint the SSG?😀
4:20 OMG totaly fogot about it! When will they be send?
Maybe you can make a checklist for all your gear, that might help a bit. I usually do it when I go camping or backpacking and it works good but usually when I don’t I forget something like a mess kit when I’m going to eat something like mashed potato’s
Might be helpful to get a list made on your phone that you can check off so you don't forget stuff so much. I also find it helpful to keep a lot of my gear already packed so it doesn't get so disorganized.
