The mindset is like , they will move on but will ditch us in the process. Realizing that witchcraft is a huge thing was so important for me. Now I see that it's also truly part of a spiritual warfare. And that maybe these people at least some of them might be puppets in the hands of those unseen forces. Thank you, Angel. I appreciate what you're doing. I thought about joining the peace corps when I was a young man. Life offered me other options and I did volunteer work with youth outreach organizations instead. Before long I had a career and was married (as is the local practice of my native culture)... 😉 I've always been spiritual and have seen God in the signs and symbols around me all my life. I just didn't know that everyone didn't have a spiritual connection through consciousness but I learned that I was 'different' in grade school. I grew up in a Christian family but always thought that there was something more to Spirit than could be contained in any religion. I have always believed in Jesus and I haven't found his equal in any religion, though I have found similar concepts to his teaching in all of them. I have always known that magic is the power of imagination and spells are the intentions of spoken words. Forgive me, Angel, if I sound a bit obtuse but in my defense, I am a mystic who seeks the truth and an ad-hoc spiritualist. I call myself a 'free soul' and I believe that all people are meant to be the sovereign of their own life. I am an intuitive empath and a dreamer. Some of my dreams just happen to come true and I have often marveled at the serendipity that I've seen in life. I kept most of my inner world to myself as people generally didn't seem to appreciate it, until just over two years ago when I was awakened, again. This wasn't my first conscious paradigm shift. I have taken several spiritual journeys in the past but this time was/is very different. This time I felt like I was dying slowly, both within and without. I was in a marriage where I felt like did all the work and nobody was happy. I knew that something needed to change and I couldn't change her, so I had to change me. I had always been empathetic to my wife's misfortunate life and excused her covert narcissism because of the unhealed wounds from early childhood trauma. I tried to convince her that she should seek therapy but I didn't know then what I know now about NPD. So, I knew that I had to leave and I began doing spiritual work on myself. Nothing like voodoo or anything so heavy. Mostly just reading and self-reflecting to find balance and stability within. Everything starts within our consciousness. As I regained my sense of identity I felt guided to live honestly and authentically as a way to build deeper relationships with the people I love most. I also was lead to take accountability for my actions and make amends for my shortcomings. I committed to being guided by my intuition and began living from my heart. This was an attempt to start at the beginning of all spiritual and religious practices. I set out to be guided by Spirit as Abraham was. This was my attempt to free my consciousness from all external sources and truly walk with God or trust the Universe to meet my needs as they say. I wanted to be as One with Father as Jesus prayed his disciples to be. This didn't just happen all at once but is a recurring theme in my spiritual life. Only before I searched for something outside of myself but this time I was only searching within. There was no need for validation only a longing for life. At the same time as I was learning to trust my intuition I began receiving signs and synchronicities on a daily basis that guided me to reconnect with someone who I love but lost contact with during the coof pandemic. I was guided to have an honest and personal conversation about the things that are left unsaid because we don't want to admit to uncomfortable truths. Knowing what I know now I would have approached the situation differently but life's a harsh teacher who gives us the test first and then the lesson. I entered the unknown as a broken person who was in the process of healing. I was guided by unconditional love to do it. I pray that God be gentle with us when we seek truth in the darkness of illusions. I hope that I haven't damaged the relationship with the one who alchemized my awakening.
