Hello, I made it as in the pictures, the same firmware. Well, FFB doesn't work for me. Poking with a multimeter, I discovered that the PWM signal (which comes out from pin 10-11) produces a low level of 0.9V. and for this reason, the motor driver supplies only 3-4V to the motor and it hardly turns. I don’t know where to dig anymore, all the components are fully functional.

Can, but you have to know the ppr value, vcc+, ground, rx and tx encoder to be used

And is it possible, to use more than two extra buttons? (Maybe you can switch it with the z toogle lever)
Z toggle function if the firmware is not read in the wheel config (0.00) then you have to remove the Z toggle, turn the steering wheel left and right. The firmware will change to 0.16. You can add buttons using arduino pins D12, D13, A3, A4 and A5

You can use another brand of encoder, but you must know the PPR value. If you don't need force feedback don't use DC motor

@@josiah.cameruh The DC motor I use force feedback is sufficient for playing ETS2 but for playing Dirt4 force feedback is lacking. Maybe later I will make it with another DC motor.

@@edipurwanto25 here's what i am thinking. put a gear on Rotary Encoder and at the end of the thread that is connected to the steering wheel. or adding one more Timming Pulley and belt connected to rotary encoder and the steering wheel. that;s gonna work right?
@@kennethmanthis2457 I think the gears or timing pulley are the same and you can try, but the rotary encoder settings may be different in the wheel config. Try looking for tutorials using a rotary encoder.

Hi again,I got issue with encoder i have 4 of them but I don't now pinouts of them,can't find online eather. I have 2 Epsons and two hp printers encoders.
To make it easy you have to get an encoder + sensor Canon Printer IP2770. Is it not available in your country?

Kalo ada blue print diameter lubang sama jarak antar lubang di pvc sheetnya boleh dong bang di share
Kebetulan pas buatnya langsung ukur dan coret di papan PVC jadi tidak ada drawingnya. Saran saya kalau mau buat untuk timing pulley yang ukuran 40 teeth ganti ke ukuran 80 teeth supaya ffb nya lebih besar

Mas, saya kemaren rakit stering whell pakai puly mesin jahit, dinamo RS 795 PSU pakai bekas PC 12v, -+14A, diconfig stir sudah sukses, dimainkan di ETS2 berat banget lalu pas belok itu lawan arus putaran dinamo ko bisa short ke PSU nya, kira2 knapa ya? & juga kabel PSU ke motor driver nya panas
Saran saya setingan spring, dumper dan lain2 jangan terlalu besar karena motor akan kerja keras dan panas sehingga bisa mengakibatkan short. Saya sudah 2 tahun pakai steering DIY belum pernah mengalami short cuma motor saja yang terasa panas makanya di video DIY yang lain saya tambah cooling fan biar motor tidak terlalu panas.

Pemasangan kabelnya sudah sesuai belum mas coba di cek soalnya butuh ketelitian dalam pemasangan.

I haven't tried the G25 or G27 yet and I made steering wheel to be able to play the simulator at low cost ( the estimated cost is around $100 )
