He should have been. But he was never 100% after that horrible injury in the Auburn game. He lost that step he needed to migrate from college to the pros.

I appreciate you putting up a video with the action in real speed. It's hard to gauge the burst, or speed of a player with all the slow motion you normally see in these highlight videos (not to mention distracting music). I never got to see him play in college, so appreciate the vid! Rumored he may play for the Cowboys. Reminds me a lot of a healthy Dez.
+Shammy Cat Thanks! I don't care for showing clips of players in slow motion or from weird angles. I know people like to watch all the effects, but I'm too lazy. Also, I prefer to not use music. I only use music when there are clips without sound. It'll be awkward to just have silence for those clips. My older videos will have music, but the past 13-14 videos do not have music. Thanks for watching and thanks for showing your appreciation. A lot of people complain about not having music.

I definitely agree with you there, you remember what harper was able to do opposite Irvin, its truly pathetic the numbers Williams has put up opposite Dez. No reason he shouldn't have at least 60 or 70 plus receptions per season.
Yep. 3rd season in and he still catches the ball with his body aswell. As long as they do not draft a bust I'd be happy. But 4-12 does not reflect them and just gave us the opportunity to draft a franchise player. Good luck Jerry and staff with handling the 4th.

He isn't the fastest, but he's big and has some great hands. Go 9ers, bud.

I didnt like the idea of going for WR with our Top Pick because we have SO MANY needs on all sides of the ball (especially OL and CB, also LB) I was hoping we trade back for an extra Round 2 or something but in-terms of Offense this pick would be GOD-LIKE. Imagine having a QB that can run, a WR that can throw and a bruiser RB like Hyde. Fuck me Chip Kelly could definitely do some interesting shit on Offense with that combo. Id like that pick now.

Really reminds me of a more atheltic, faster, longer Hakeem Nicks. Big catch radius and excellent on the back shoulder and jump balls. he has the ability you have as a WR or you don't and that is playingf the ball in the air and high pointing it.
Great comparison. Reminds me of Nicks in his prime. Not necessarily a burner, but technique is top notch

I've been watching treadwell for a while now and I always somehow thought the Vikings would draft him,I've been picturing him in a Vikings uniform for 2 years and I'm glad it came true.Always thought he looked like a legit elite reciever.Never thought he was slow because of that game speed he has,he will run a 4.4 by the end of training camp as most athletes recover a good .22 seconds of speed a year or two after injury.

As a Die-Hard Vikings fan, I noticed part of the title to this Clip was "MEGAQUAN" now that in itself is way way too Humorous and just a flat out Joke!!! Treadwell has been our biggest first round BUST I believe since we took Troy Williamson in the 1st round a while back!... treadwell cant seem to ever get separation off whoever's covering him. Wever gave him 4 seasons to just show us anything to prove we need to keep him around... but nope.nothing spectacular abount him. Sometimes he makes some nice grabs,also is a very good blocker with good size obviously for a WR... other than that shit I'd trade him for anything!!! Even a couple extra fans to convert over to.the Vikes!!! Lmao!!! SKOL baby!!!

Reminds me a ton of Alshon Jeffery. Soft natural hands catcher, uses his big frame to shield off smaller DB's, tremendous at tracking the ball over his shoulder and high pointing it. Similar build too long strider with deceptive speed to stretch the defense. Big difference between him and Dez is the YAC Treadwell really isn't too shifty in the open field.

It’s so hard to gauge WR’s in College for the NFL Draft. In hind sight Laquon Treadwell was just stronger and faster than his competition but the competition weren’t that good to begin with.
