Sell off the U.S. car brands to a U.S. ownership group. The manufacturers have forgotten who the customer is…. Hint! Not the shareholders. It’s the consumer.

Correct. European executives think they know what everyone in the world "needs" and could care less about what people "want". As Lauren has said multiple times, let the consumer decide. Cannot wait for January 20th, 2025, so we can kiss all these regulations goodbye.

      Who would buy them?
The US market has many different car brands to choose from and most of them have a far better reputation than Chrysler and it would cost billions of dollars to update existing models as well as trying to develop newer models that would appeal to the customer.
If Chrysler dies nobody will notice.

Stellantis is a grab-bag of most of the crappy car brands that could not survive on their own. Every one of their brands have been consistently famous for unusually poor quality, going back 60 years. It is notable that good quality car brands have good quality, year after year for decades, whereas poor quality car brands have poor quality, year after year for decades. One would think that all any crappy car brand would have to do is copy the design and construction of Hondas, Toyotas or Lexuses - but that apparently never happens.

Stellantis needs to jettison FIAT from North America and refocus it's attention on the following: Chrysler as it's luxury brand, Dodge as it's performance brand, Ram as it's Truck brand, and Jeep as it's premium brand. It makes no sense to me to have the identical vehicles sold in the North American Market with two different nameplates. Case in Point the Chrysler Pacifica in the USA and the same vehicle across the board in Canada as the Legendary Grand Caravan. These two vehicles need to be consolidated into on nameplate the "Grand Caravan" in both regions. This would reduce and simplify manufacturing, marketing, and inventory costs for Stellantis. Jeep need to either increase the size of the Compass which is currently has a claustrophobic interior space or bring back the Cherokee nameplate to fill the void with a larger footprint. If Jeep Cherokee is not politically correct, then what about the Liberty or Patriot nameplates. The Muscle Cars should be under the Dodge Brand. This would allow Chrysler to introduce luxury vehicles from Stellantis' other luxury brands to North America without the sticker shock those other Stellantis brands are know for. this would allow more time for Stellantis to regroup under new leadership and begin the process of rebuilding The Chrysler Brand in the same way as GM has with Cadillac for the next 100 years.
I hope someone at Stellantis is paying attention and soliciting feedback from customers and owners of their products rather than about how well their websites operate. Great Job Lauren!

Pricing the Wrangler and Gladiator as premium is part of their problem. The Wagoneer and Compass can go, and the Cherokee has been ruined since the Toledo square body. Rebadge the Grand Cherokee as a Crysler and design a proper mid sized truck. After so many great concepts, releasing the Gladiator as is with it's 5' bed is a joke.

Which really just dumbs down the skill level and basic operating and maintaining of vehicle operation, but add huge costs. Get back to basics… Power windows, locks, ac, and simple screen/audio for your phone. Market your cars so people stay above water in equity and stop selling them what they can’t afford. Chrysler Sebring/200 was unable to compete in the market that included the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord. The features and the quality of Chrysler's offering were just not there. Good friends of mine have a Chrysler dealership in Ontario. I’m quite worried for their future. Stellantis made them spend a bunch of money on EV chargers and they are rarely used. Such a waste of resources.

Stellantis Europen brands are in a real slump too. It isn't looking good for Stellantis from any perspective. And, when things turn bad in the world of autos, the cash burn can be like a house on fire.

The auto industry is similar to many others. We should consolidate so we can drive economies of scales. We should divest ourselves so we can focus on our core. Rinse. Repeat. CEO's with MBA's hire McKinsey or Deloitte to put together a plan (those consultants just cut and paste the same slides) and Voila!!!-You buy yourself 3 years more as a ceo!. And get rich.

Let the Chrysler brands go under they have taken 2 government bailout then merged with diameter benz and then after the second bailout merged with Fiat. This company is just a way for these foreign brands to get a way into the US market with a lower cost.

They make an ok product when you can buy a Cherokee for 26k or a renegade for 18 k . This idea that they did away with the more affordable vehicles and you need 70k to buy a keep grand Cherokee or a wrangler does not make sense . I don’t think they have any r and d not much in vehicles have changed since about 2010. Can’t just raise prices on old designs and have it work

Amazed Sltellantis staggered on this long. It was always too big, painfully slow to act while spewing out crap at obscene prices, if that.
They seem incapable of doing more then one thing at a time unless done at in a decade long timescale
Right from the beginning when they took years too long to hack up a Fiat platform (it’s self a Fiat/GM platform from 10 years earlier) to make the Jeep compass.

Only reason why Fiat is even popular in Europe is because they build tiny cars for very Old World European cities with very tiny streets that were never designed for cars in the first place, due to the fact that cars didn't exist back then. No one but Fiat owners in America will miss Fiat if it went away.

I watch Marc on EXOTIC CAR PLAY PLACE. He is in Edmonton. When you see JEEP and RAM trucks from $80 k to $120 k CAD.....well who can afford that. The Wagoneer is 105 000 CAD...It's not a Benz or Bimmer but Stellantis thinks it is...cmon. I see YT channels saying Nissan is gone in 12 to 14 months.
