I REALLY LOVE his acting! He left a deep impression on me when i was younger from a police officer with split personality（走火入魔）, Double happiness（双喜临门）, holland v（荷兰村）and not forgetting ji gong（济公）. Truly brings back happy memories from my childhood. 🥲 Will probably watch Mediacorp again after so long
Wow, just looked at his posture. Speaks very calmly, humbly and w/out airs. That's Xie shao guang for us. He's easily one of the BEST actors during his time compared to nowaday's actor. So raw n not natural in front of camera.
I'm so happy when I heard of his return 🥳 he was my favorite actor, the younger generation may not know who he is, but I can say he used to be the best actor in MediaCorp, and I still think he is the best.
He graduated from acting school abroad before joining Mediacorp.. He's properly the only Big Star who had formal training , most of his peers only went thru the SBC class or came from Star Search
It's very thick makeup, and the hair is not all naturally his, if u know what i mean. The "celeb grooming secrets". But he kept his physique lean and limber and youthful. Still got vitality in his movements at 62yo now.
I'm pretty sure XSG's skills are still top-notch today, but the same can't be said about Mediacorp's production quality and creativity. They are nowhere as decent as 20-30 years ago.
I understand that he was doing some kind of self cultivation? Correct me if I am wrong. But if that is true, good for him. Being surrounded by animals, learning from them how to offer love, that’s great. He sounded very kind to give animals a good life. I mean, how many actors would do that or have doen that? It shows his humanity. Everyone wants to see him act again. But I want to see him grow as a person. I feel that’s more important because I can learn from him. Acting is just for entertainment. But life lessons are for learning and growing.
😅CHW already moved up the God stage. So no more goals for him liao. But XSG has potential to move to the big screen also. In the likes of Mark lee and Peter Yu. He ever turned down a role in llo llo directed by Anthony Chen.
@@哥坤-s7o It's about getting Best Actor. Xie Shaoguang dominated that award when he was active. After Xie Shaoguang left, it was Chen Hanwei's time. Now that Xie Shaoguang is back again, Chen Hanwei might have to play second fiddle.
Before he told people not to disturb him anymore as he was not in the industry anymore. Now that he's returned, he claimed he never left the industry. C'mon
L N X nowadays very busy with businesses. Where got time to be featured n interviewed. Well, i agree that those actors or actresses are the BEST !!!!!!
