Hong joo just need his old tankyness .Like 2 years ago he used to have 8.2k hp . Hong joo moveset is good and his attack damage is also good . The only thing he is lacking is a small defence buff .Still Odyssey used him in top rank just how he used sarge few months ago is just so amazing.
Those were some days when Odyssey's go to hero was Sarge as well as Sumit Gupta Gaming with Hong Joo and Helga Rani....

Amazing gameplay. You actually intercept opponent's attack with your own attack so many times. Most Piro just dashes back with jc/rc and spams lynx itu basics and ironclad special kick and call themselves pro.

I recently played against logan (the guy from the first match) in the gideon event and got humiliated. Seeing you destroying him with hongjoo is just mindblowing😅

May I suggest a combo for Hong Joo? After the successful down attack you go with basic kicks followed by the upper attack. It works most of the time

excellent !! watching xiang tzu all the time is so boring... +1 !!! it would be great if you explain some mechanics of the game. why some player always grab first? sometimes my fighter just dont want to grab ... i wait until my opponent is finishing an attack to inmidiately grab him but my fighter does nothing at all. the opponent finishes the attack and then grab me :( 2) in which cases a fighter can do a basic weapon attack twice and hit the second (when the opponent blocks) ???
