Anyone who thinks Rose and Gio aren't still close are cuckoo. I'd say they're still as close as ever; we just aren't privy to seeing how close they are as they are keeping their friendship/relationship - whatever you want to call it - private. It's why we only see their interactions when it's to do with work where their paths connect, or award events like this. I'm not sure how true this is, but apparently during the commercial breaks at the NTA's, Gio was leaving his seat and constantly going to Rose and her mother. Eventually, when Strictly's category was due up, he bought her over to where the Strictly group were. What you can't see on this video due to the cameraman focusing on the upper half, is that Gio had his hand on her upper thigh. There is evidence out there, if you can still find it. Not something I'd associate a friend doing unless they're that comfortable. Yes, their career paths are very different and they were always going to diverge on their respective paths once the show ended last year, or more accurately, after the tour ended this year. That doesn't mean they still aren't close.
So how do you know all this ? Cos the rest of us don’t!!!! I didn’t see he hand on her upper thigh !!! How did you ? I hope all you say is true that would make many people very happy 😃
@@janeesfandiari101 Some member of Joe Public in the audience took a sneaky shot of them both when Rose was sat with the Strictly cast and crew. Gio's left hand was clearly on her thigh. That is not friends behaviour. There was a video, but the person who took the video removed it before the press got hold of it. I still have the image the person posted from the video.

I think Rose has a lot between her ears and realises what Gio is like I'm sure her mum is aware too. We all thought the showing off and egotistical side of him had quietened down after meeting Rose but disappointingly he seems to have reverted to type as many have said she has so much more to offer than just dance. He certainly has reverted to type sad as I had high hopes for him ! Thought he had finally grown up ! Perhaps now Rose is a free agent he has lost interest it’s all a bit strange! Wondering why she was in Sicily ? Rose is a bright beautiful woman with a lot to offer let’s hope she makes a huge success of her life she deserves it and she will go it in her own way!!!!

I’m sure they are good friends but certainly not involved romantically and perhaps they are happy being good friends?

I can’t bear the thought of Rose being pushed aside I have great admiration for both Of them they are amazing people just confused by it all Gio learning sign language Rose going to Sicily it’s all sending different messages ! I think they have both moved on and think they will probably remain friends ? But thinking about it the only time we see them together is at an event so I personally don’t think there is any romance there they are certainly doing their own thing !
I understand where your coming from other media outlets show they still have feelings for one another neither of them would have been able achieve what they accomplished on there own i still hope they can become a couple which is what there fans want I do worry about Giovanni ego which would make him very unpopular with the public if he goes back to his old ways for one night stands and wannabe reality stars Rose will become more popular with the public if that happens especially after parting from previous there must have been a reason all of Giovanni s strictly friends have relationships let’s hope he chooses the right path ??? At the moment it looks like he wants to go down the route of different one every week Rose is streets ahead of any of the girls he has dated in looks personality and fun he will never find anyone like her

Rose (and Anton) were in Sicily at Gio's sister's dance school this summer...? Let them find out if they will be involved romantically.
