This has always been one of my favourite "Hidden" Owl City gems. It's so bouncy and energetic, Kinda reminds me of the soundtrack for the first Sonic the hedgehog games. That kinda retro-synthpop sound is so great.

This song is like every aspect of what scratches my brain extremely well. The retro-synths, the orchestral samples, the happy go lucky energy, and it's production. It is like everything I could've ask for, lol.
Every time I listen to this, I always end up dosing off into the most random and peaceful day dreams ever imaginable in my head. The violin the the chorus gets me a lot. I always get really nice positive and optimistic vibes from this song and it's a really relaxing instrumental, and so are the day dreams I randomly get warped into when listing to this. I honestly don't think I've ever heard any song like this, and this is one of the very few songs that can put me in a really upbeat mood, but this on the other hand takes to mood to a whole other level, then amplifys it by 1000.
If the original version of Owl City's song, 'Ridiculously Happy', puts you in a very upbeat mood, just wait until you hear a lot of Owl City's songs, more of his songs with actual lyrics! :D His music is so bright and happy, and dreamy and magical! :D
I came here from Twilight Meadow's video, because after listening to it for a while I realized... "Wait... Adam isn't even singing this..." XD and I'm a little shocked to see.. He added no words to this? That just makes both of the versions more awesome!
I’m not trying to say that this song cures depression, because somewhatish it simply does not, but I sure as hell feel ridiculously less oppressed whenever I rediscover this song. My imagination goes wild with nothing but happy thoughts. For some reason, I apply the idea of a happy skateboarder doing their skateboarding business to this song, even though I have no interest in skateboarding. I love how Adam makes his songs into escapes from anything. And it’s always weird and random as hell.

This song is kinda like futuristic Ghibli orchestra. I always knew that he was the Miyazaki of songwriting, although he moved to a style which I'd call "Takahata". Now he's somehow moved back to dreamy stuff, but he still has that direct, relatable style from 2012, so I think I'll call it "Hosoda". Sorry for Gheebing around, I just love Japanese animation.
