The whole purpel-ish glowing stuff reminds me so much of the Forgotten Cities.

And the floating rocks surrounded by purple auras at 1:06 is definitely Radahn's gravity magic. The dev is not even hiding the fact that they copy pasted a lot of things from ER.

0:35 What feels like the highlight for me is the focus on Indian/Himalayan cultural themes, the way this city looked reminds me of the dzongs in Bhutan
The giant blue flower also looks a lot like the lotus, which is a recurring symbol in Buddhist and Hindu mythology

Free to play is a huge punch in the gut for any game. I just want to know what the cost later down the line will be. I don't want to pay for cosmetics, I want to buy a game and unlock everything in it for nothing but my time and enjoyment

I came in with no expectations, chicken skin slowly started rising ending up in a full shiver with that insane sounding dude. Thats a fantastic compliment just to be clear.

For a developer who only made a single mobile game this looks dope
So it seems this is a 4 player, always online, free to play, game as a service. I was thrilled when I thought it was a single player game but oof that took it down a peg for me. Hopefully it allows for a truly single player experience.

This is the winner of the State of Play. TIpsWorks made the criminally overlooked Souls-like, Pascal's Wager, and I'm really interested to see them trading in the Bloodborne aesthetic for what looks like more East Asian mythology. The new characters look pretty cool, too. The swordsman with the kid makes me think of Lone Wolf & Cub, and that woman has a gun-glaive combo that could be a trick weapon straight out of Bloodborne.
