1998 was team Bigfoot's final full-season with Monster Jam before PACE/SFX tried to buy the naming/merchandising rights, which soured Bob Chandler's relationship with them. Bigfoot would be at different, smaller USHRA-sanctioned events from 1999 to 2003 but those specific cases are independent of Monster Jam/Thunder Nationals, and are more related to Bigfoot's corporate Ford sponsorship at the time(Ford had a 100th anniversary show and the 2004-body Bigfoot 14 can be seen in photos surrounded by USHRA banners and even running against Blue Thunder!). side note: the final time Grave Digger would race Bigfoot in any circumstance i believe was 2011 at Englishtown NJ's dragstrip which usually hired a few USHRA boys like MaxD and Monster Mutt(and other indie staples like Avenger and Bounty Hunter) to bring some added recognition.
@@Dogman36 At the time Live Nation approached Bob about selling Bigfoot to them,he said he would be willing to sell them all his inventory trucks,but not the name or merch rights..Live Nation wanted EVERYTHING and smartly Bob said No!!.. There's also things about Monster Jam that Bob doesn't like..
its a bummer the footage of Sting in 1998 didnt make the Best Of vhs tapes! i used to think it was in Monster Truck Madness 2 as a fake like Bret "The Hitman" Hart's truck!
