Tina Alonzo, no, you're not the only one. This home should be turned into a museum. It beautiful. All those antique furniture should be refurbished. Amazing place.
Hi. Thanks for this amazing video. I just wanted to mention this is not an Arabian house. The home owners were Persian (Iranian) and the interesting part is that family picture on the wall is not his family those are Queen (Farah Pahlavi) and prince (Reza Pahlavi) of Iran before revolution in 1979. Just the little girl was one owners family. Judging by little girl standing beside king of Iran's family, the home owner must have been someone very close to royal family, close friend, high level military man, or someone working in the government
I can still recall that this was first explored by the explomo. It was still dirty n dusty then , i think belongs to the shah of iran when they ecaped. . I dont get it why it a little bit clean now n furnitures were arranged

I think I always want to know more about former occupants. I was struck with this one by all the plastic lawn chairs just outside the house, so incongruente with all the amazing furniture and items inside.
I can't believe nobody's stolen the furniture. The carpet on the wall behind the bed looks of a type which is very valuable, but one must examine the underside to be sure.

Thank you so much for your beautiful commentary on this “tiny home”. It’s unfortunate that some people are disrespectful of others private dwellings. I always appreciate the up close explanations of the fascinating architecture, furniture, hidden rooms, clothing left behind and of course the ornately beautiful plates and many other matching or intriguing items that individuals choose to complete their household dish-ware. Your personal information is always quite respectful to each and every family; whether they where wealthy or everyday citizens who couldn’t afford to keep up with the payments anymore and had to leave their beloved family’s articles (which is totally inclusive of everything within each home that resembles any and all memories). Quanta magnificência, beleza e encantamento viver assim!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏🏡🏘🏘🏡
I love these videos, where man connects with the basics of nature, and restore ... even a tiny, derelict house to the habitable place it once was. It takes a unique person ... such as this old man.. to live alone for such a long time. When you reach a level where the trees and animals are your companion.. they silently speak to you, as the gentle winds blow through.
With the massive size of the furniture in this tiny house with tiny rooms, i wonder if he and his former wife had a much larger home together and after the divorce he kept these extremely large pieces to furnish his new little home with?? As in all of your videos of places that have fabulous antique furniture in them, i think it is a shame they are left to the elements and vandals! It seems that these pieces could somehow be legally sold to the benefit of the homeless or other charitable organizations! At least some good would come from preserving these priceless pieces! Many years ago traveling in Luxembourg, i found two thick square oak carved door panels of lions heads in an antique shop there. I bought them and I commented on them being beautiful antiques and the owner said they weren't antiques, only a couple of hundred years old!!! Seems in Europe, to be an antique, objects need to be at least 500 years old! He told me where the chateau was they came from and I got to drive by and see what was left of it. Like so many places in your videos, it had been abandoned and slowly melted into the ground. Outside the elegant wrought iron fence Lying on the ground in the grass, i found a beautiful bronze carved handle with gears on the end which i found out later was the handle for a special type of window that opened from the top as well as swinging like a door! I still have the two carved lions head panels and window handle 50 years later!!
Probably brought the upstairs furniture pieces through the French windows on upper floor. Some furniture like large wardrobes can be taken apart and reassembled. Where there’s a will there’s a way.
But oh! Didn’t he have far too much furniture inside the little house? It was hard to appreciate the beauty of any one piece because of all the competition.
How enchanting!!!! It must have been soooo beautiful!!! Someone must give back life to this amazing cottage ,should not be neglected, sooooo sad😔Thank you for sharing
So sad.......what's left of this mans life is of no real importance to anyone.......then desecrated by vandals.....thank you for sharing this and being so kind and respectful.......you are a gem young man.......we are after all only small mortal beings....and time waits nor cares for anyone...!
What ever young lady gets him he is a treasure she would be very lucky indeed. I agree with you I would love for my daughter to bring home a young man just like him!
Are you sure the 2nd family was Arab, I think they appear to be Persian ( Iranian). Maybe from the royal family judging from the "throne" in the front room.
How beautiful is that house? Makes me sad it's just left to decay. The furniture is absolutely beautiful. So sad that people vandalized it. I want that house!
How absolutely amazing!!!!that place with all those antiques must be worth an absolute fortune just left to rot & decay out there!!! Can't believe that it hasn't all been carried off already! I feel so sad for the poor old man who must have been so broken by his divorce that he became a complete recluse with all his grandure never to worry about society again!! It realy makes one weep.

The tea spoon from Winston-Salem NC (North Carolina - USA) I'm form NC, I know Winston-Salem well. Some history - you like history, don't you....? - The Salem part of the city was founded by Moravians, a Christian reform movement, founded by Jan Hus, a Czech priest. His reform movement was about 50 years before Martin Luther's. So, I've been wondering: do you, when you're sitting at home in Belgium, late at night, touching your things - your glasses, books, photographs, fixing a late snack - ever cast your mind forward and imagine when you're dead and gone, other people wandering in your house, looking at your things, imaging what your life was like....? I find that I do that often. ....speculate how others would imagine my life based on what I will have left behind. Thank you for what you do!

I’m sure that the gorgeous, ornate furniture, tapestries & decor was from the Arabic family! I can’t see a single man of 50-70 years having this beautiful, pristine furniture! What a quaint little cottage! Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure with us Leslie! I loved it 👍🙏❤️
I did have a similar thought since the edging on the furniture resembles an Indian plant stand I used to have. However the carvings on the doors are rural/provincial motifs, unrelated to Arabic, its quite a strange combination. But kind of gothic also.
Although the work on the chairs is really beautiful, they do not look very comfortable, the carvings on the furniture in stunning. Once again thank you Lesley for your presentation of these homes, done with such care. Strange this one

That carved furniture was amazing! So were the rock walls. It doesn't really look like anyone lived there since he died. It looks like his clothes an his things. Maybe the new owners went there one vacation and got scared out by his ghost. Beautiful video thank you.

I’ve always had a fascination with abandoned houses but rarely had the opportunity to explore them. Thank you so much for taking us inside these beautiful places. You feel like you know some of these people by the time the video is over. The huge “throne” in the first room of this house I was very curious about. It looks like you could lift the seat of the chair, under the red velvet cushion. I had hoped you would lift it because I wanted to see if it held a chamber pot inside! I’ve seen a chair like that before, but not in a dining room! Perhaps a chair like this is where people learned to call a toilet “the porcelain throne”! And the little skeleton of a seahorse! Absolutely fantastic!

Your personal information is always quite respectful to each and every family; whether they where wealthy or everyday citizens who couldn’t afford to keep up with the payments anymore and had to leave their beloved family’s articles (which is totally inclusive of everything within each home that resembles any and all memories). I also appreciate the fact that you allow each person to share their own experience(s) and relate their own memories. Many blessings to you and your continued endeavors my friend. God bless you as you continue to travel around the countryside. May your safety always be of the highest priority and if you’re ever in a concerning situation, may there be someone who will ALWAYS be willing to reach out their hand to you as God has elected you and your team as “Guardians ” of these precious treasures.

I would love to buy this house and bring it to its former glory. Clean all those beautiful rugs. Restore the Beautiful furniture. Absolutely stunning. Such a Shame it's just sitting away!
Love your videos but hate it when they have to end!! 🥰 ♥️
This is the most interesting abandoned video I have ever seen. All that hand carved furniture! Thanks so much. From New York state, USA.

Thank you..Your voice is so relaxing,I'm sleepy.Really enjoyed your show USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I believe that guy, Aimé
, came from the Bretagne region to end up at the opposite, right down the South, where I live.
Great video of this beautiful house: its owner was born on 21.01.1931 in Lauriere and died aged 88 on18.06.2019 in Limoges.
Can't help but wonder how they got all that big furniture in such small rooms? How did they get it up those tiny stairs? Just a thought.
Did that with the house I’m in now.
i'm wondering if the man built the furniture. i think he did n did all those carvings
@@terrimakley3366 Possible, its so unusual.
The way you described the wash room was captivating.
The narrator is very good in words unlike other abandon house chanels. You described it in right words. I love it
Thank you for another interesting tour. How odd that so many large intricate pieces of furniture in such a small house.
So sad to see such a BEAUTIFUL place rotting away.I would love a place like that.
My absolute dream home! I appreciate the respectful way you talk about the former inhabitants!
I often wonder what happen to all these people who just disappear or leave without a trace or reason
You, young man are every mothers delight to have their daughter bring home to introduced to them! (youre a credit to your parents) 😊
What ever young lady gets him he is a treasure she would be very lucky indeed. I agree with you I would love for my daughter to bring home a young man just like him!
Geez, take a cold shower.

Hello...I'm a silent readers and watching ur video ❤️ love those amazing place thank you...have safe travels on your way 💖🇵🇭
Are you sure the 2nd family was Arab, I think they appear to be Persian ( Iranian). Maybe from the royal family judging from the "throne" in the front room.
How beautiful is that house? Makes me sad it's just left to decay. The furniture is absolutely beautiful. So sad that people vandalized it. I want that house!
I wouldn't mind it either, I couldn't afford to buy but would like it anyway, yet those who own don't even want it.
It is sad to watched this, so beautiful furnitures . When it’s time for us to go, we leave everything.
You should come to Ireland on your travels. There are so many buildings just left abandoned and they have so much history to them.
I own alot of them...
@@DJGra-jy711 why leave them decrepit?
Is it legal or ilegal to stay on that houses for few days or months?
So very beautiful thank you so much 💗 from Georgia
How absolutely amazing!!!!that place with all those antiques must be worth an absolute fortune just left to rot & decay out there!!! Can't believe that it hasn't all been carried off already!
I feel so sad for the poor old man who must have been so broken by his divorce that he became a complete recluse with all his grandure never to worry about society again!!
It realy makes one weep.
Sho do and soo far away from all
and who discovered him being there
Glad the man followed his dream - nothing to regret at the end -
Bless you guys, through it all, your still adventuring. Be safe you three.
Too bad this beautiful house was abandoned.
Thank you for sharing BEAUTIFUL
Love the bedroom and beautiful furniture. All the furniture is exquisite and what a shame it is going to ruin. Really enjoyed this one a lot. Thank you Leslie love you
That little home is so quaint and in such a lovely location, shocking no one’s picked it up.
It’s sad how all that plastic is contaminating that beautiful countryside. Thank you for sharing this charming country house.
Worse things contaminating the earth than plastic LOL
So strange that there were SO MANY plastic chairs outside! You are right - such amazing carved furniture in such a small home. safe travels!
What a lovely location you brought us to today, Leslie.. It's so peaceful : ) But as always, it's hard to see such beautiful pieces like these furnishings being left open to the elements - and vandals. Such waste is always sad for me.
But thank you for showing us - BE healthy and stay safe! XX
I can't get over the absolutely gorgeous woodwork in this little home. The craftsmanship is a lost skill nowadays.
Same here! Hi there how are you doing with your family i do hope you’re safe from the Covid?

VERY NICE AND EXPENSIVE FURNITURE !
Thxs a million!! Kind regards from El Calafate. Glaciers National Park. Patagonia-Argentina.
What a beautiful home! I would love to live there. Thanks for showing us!
Hallo
Sehr sehr schön ihr Video ,
tolle Möbel ,mitten in nirgendwo .
That carved furniture was amazing! So were the rock walls. It doesn't really look like anyone lived there since he died. It looks like his clothes an his things. Maybe the new owners went there one vacation and got scared out by his ghost. Beautiful video thank you.
It's such a shame people can Vandalize someone's else home.the Antique's are out of this world.Thank you for the tour.
Love this tiny home. How incredibly formal and elegant it is, regardless of the roughness of the building. I wonder if he was a titled gentleman who lived there, such lively furnishings. An intriguing story. Thank you.
Thank you for this beautifully done film
Amazing furniture
Lesley, the furniture is so beautiful!! You're so kind and respectful when you explore the homes that are forgotten. Stay safe!
You're voice is so calming ~
You always do such a lovely and compassionate share of these historical homes you so reverently video. Thank you and be safe!!😊
The house is so beautiful
Super... Gracias
This is the second time I have watched this and it’s truely amazing just beautiful thankyou Lesley
The house could be haunted and that’s why the family left everything. It’s interesting that vandals came and didn’t take more. Amazing!
This house abondon is looks paradise ,very quiet and scary sometimes ...nobodys neighbor , feeling lonely nobodys to talk with ..
