Always loved this story, and this version from StoryTeller - so much so that I named my little boy Kai years later 😊

I really like the music for this video. Quite honestly, a lot of these audiobooks have really pretty and very fitting music. The one that plays during the Rapunzel story is one of my favorites.

I use to have these in Afrikaans when I was growing up in South Africa. The voices are different but the stories and the pictures are the same. My love of reading stories from all around the world came from my Storieman (Story Teller) books!

I loved this version of the story. Other versions always seem to call the boy Kay not Kai and it annoys me. I saw this in the theatre when I was five or six and loved it so much more because of storyteller.

I remember the name Kai because a few years ago Danniella Westbrook had a son called Kai & when I heard this name I said to myself I heard that name through Storyteller

I would absolutely love to get hold of this book, with the same illustrations (by Richard Hook). My love for reading was inspired by the beautiful artwork and the narrative of this particular story. I cannot find anyone selling Richard Hook illustrated version of The Snow Queen - any ideas on where I can look, or what keywords to use while searching?

It was in a magazine called Storyteller that came with a cassette and published in the 1980's. I don't think that it's ever been published as a book - there is a wordpress website which lists the issues and links to youtube videos of the cassettes.

Thank you very much for uploading this. I used to have this and other read along cassettes and books. Did you upload other stories in this series?

I remember having seen the pictures as a child before. Is there any way to find which publisher this is from or which illustrator?
